    Both the games in the collection are an incredible amount of fun to play and they kept me interested throughout my time with them. The presentation side of the game brought back a lot of fond memories for me and to say I enjoyed the retro style tremendously.     There is a decent story for you to play in each of the games and not only did the story keep me interested but it also made me chuckle or smile a few times as well. The different mechanics and genre’s in play at the same time work incredibly well and give the gameplay a lot in terms of enjoyability and depth. I really enjoyed the presentation side of the game there is a tiny lack of polish in a few areas. I never had the chance to play the Evoland series before now. Both games are definitely were right up my alley. I was thoroughly excited to learn that both games were making their way to the Xbox One in the form of Evoland: Legendary Edition and thankfully they were worth the wait and delivered in several areas. Both games contained a number of different aspects I enjoyed but without a doubt my favourite aspect was that of the different genre’s in play at the same time. These mechanics have been done extremely well and made my time with the collection both fun and very addictive. Another aspect that made both the games fun and addictive were the very good controls which I must admit surprised me a great deal because I didn’t expect them to be as tight and responsive as they were. In terms of problems the games didn’t have too many and the only thing that really caused me some frustration were the technical issues that were present, but thankfully these issues can be easily sorted with a patch or two. At the end of the day then if you’ve been waiting for Evoland to make its way to console then I’m sure you’ll thoroughly enjoy how they’ve done things and the thought and effort that’s gone into Evoland: Legendary Edition means recommending this game to you is very easy indeed. If you are a retro gamer this is a must ass to your gaming library. Two massive thumbs up!    … Expand

    There’s a clear sense of progression and evolution here with Evoland Legendary Edition, and it’s easy to see how the second game was borne out of the success of the first. It’s this satisfying progression and Shiro Games’ obvious love for their industry that makes Evoland such a wonderful, if at times inconsistent, experience that should be undertaken by Xbox owners.

    As a package, then, Evoland Legendary Edition makes for excellent value. The Evoland games are both brilliant for their own reasons, and if you’re a fan of adventure RPGs, Evoland Legendary Edition is simply a must for your collection.
