I don’t care if it is 14 years old and pixelated, it’s just as awesome as it was back in the 2000’s as it is today. Just like the basics of any FPS game, you get a set of weapons, a bunch of enemies and then you empty your shells, cells, batteries, etc. upon them. Doom is just this. There's only you and demons. Receiving another breath of life the chance to relive this gem of the past is yours minus any online play that has been made available in previous versions of this follow-up to the classic masterpiece that paved the road for many games to follow. Doom, as you likely already know, a very fast-paced FPS with little story to tell, but with a lot of other things that can, and will appeal people looking for simple but by no means easy gameplay. I recommend Doom 3 to anyone who enjoys FPS games. This re-release is priced low and any fan or newcomer will enjoy adding this gem to their Xbox One library.… Expand

    At difference in Switch version, it's a perfect port in 60fps, doesn't have a down with the frame rate.
    This have a stunning graphics, excelent sound, marvelous SFX. Maybe needs a multiplayer game.

    Game is SUPERB on Xbox One X. 60 FPS, 4k enhanced, with HDR 10. Looks amazing. This IS DOOM 3 at its best.

    Otro de mis grandes pendientes dentro del género FPS. Me ha parecido un verdadero juegazo. De hecho he pensado que cuando esto salió en 2004, los propietarios que tenían un pc capaz de moverlo debieron flipar bastante. En realidad no es una nueva entrega de la saga, al menos en lo que a la historia se refiere, es más bien un remake del primero.

En realidad no es una nueva entrega de la saga, al menos en lo que a la historia se refiere, es más bien un remake del primero.

    Doom 3 nos pone en la piel de un marine destinado a una base de investigación militar de la UAC en Marte. En estas instalaciones se llevan a cabo experimentos de aplicación militar como por ejemplo el teletrasporte, entre otras cosas. El tema es que descubren unos artefactos que mal manipulados junto con las investigaciones que ya de por si hacen en la base, derivan en la apertura de una puerta a otra dimensión: El infierno y se produce una invasión de las huestes infernales que amenaza con llegar a la propia tierra. Pero…. Aquí entramos nosotros, una verdadera máquina de matar con armas para parar un tren en nuestras manos. Nos dedicaremos a avanzar por los laberínticos y oscuros pasillos de las instalaciones masacrando todo tipo de adefesios infernales y zombies poseidos de lo que fueron nuestros compañeros. Todo para lograr cerrar el portal abierto por el Doctor Betruger, el antagonista de la historia que ha vendido su alma por poder.

    El juego básicamente es un shooter de mata todo lo que se mueva y encuentra la salida del laberinto. A veces habrá sencillos puzzles para lograr avanzar o bien búsquedas de cierto objeto que nos permitan abrir la puerta en cuestión para llegar al siguiente nivel. Es un juego con casi 20 años y se le notan las costuras jugado hoy en día, como por ejemplo en el cambio de armas, que al carecer de una rueda de inventario tienes que pasar por todas las armas de forma secuencial y eso en momentos de máximo fragor de la batalla no es lo más adecuado, pero se le perdona. Hay enormes y desafiantes jefes finales de los que hay que averiguar la estrategia para acabar con ellos y zonas en las que nos perderemos hasta lograr encontrar la salida, ya que aparte de un escueto texto en nuestra PDA, el juego no te da mayores indicaciones.

    En definitiva es un juego muy recomendable si eres amante del género FPS de terror. Es un imprescindible en mi opinión. Se puede encontrar en game pass o a bastante buen precio para cualquier sistema. Un clásico.    … Expand

    DOOM 3 для Xbox One работает просто отлично - 60 fps даже для моей Xbox One S - это отличный результат для порта! Сам Дум 3 не устарел, и не стал хуже. Наоборот - я понял, что всегда его любил, но не понимал, за что именно, пока я не подрос и не купил версию для Xbox One. Да, она не похожа на те Думы,    Пожалуй, один из самых лучших хорор шутеров в которые я когда либо играл. Версия

    100% video games masterpiece. When you revisit it now it is obvious nowdays there is almost no examples of such deep game design. Story, atmosphere, sound, graphics everything working together perfectly to provide you perfect nightmare shooter experience you never had and never will get again. One of the most underrated games in history.

    Doom 3 is a gripping re-imagining, offering a new take on the original but retaining the classic Doom DNA. It’s a different, hellish experience, and that’s exactly why you should play this game.

    DOOM 3 is somewhat an unique entry in the franchise, and some aspects have aged better than others. However, if you want an old-school shooter, id’s game still has a lot to offer.
