Déjà Vu on Xbox One offers a charming, if brief, experience that is fun and utterly relaxing to play. Anyone with some cash or credit going spare should give this a look, even if it may initially seem a little pricey.

As debut efforts go, Déjà vu is a great go of it. The puzzle designs are unique and well thought out, and the cloning mechanic adds a great twist to the rule-set that requires forward thinking in ways other titles in the genre haven’t needed before.

At the first look to the game it looks like hyper casual mobile puzzle game. However there are little inner tales of a story throughout it's 1-2 hour runtime. To be quite honest these did little to immersion for me. It adds little to the experience and while I’m sure there’s some deeper subtext that I’m missing, it all felt a bit abstract for abstract’s sake. It was also all over much quicker than I anticipated. Just as the challenge started to build up I hit the end of the game and the end credits. It's not something unique but I really liked the level designs - but again it isn't unique. It's not copy of another game but on puzzle games you can't keep the levels on your mind mostly you just get the concept put that here than that door opens than move that there to go for the next level. My personal opinion is this game not really fit to be a console game yet it is so I let you guys give a try and make your own opinion about it. In the end the price is easy on the pocket and a few hours of entertainment for Xbox One owners. Full Review »
