    I can easily see why people would like this game. It's colorful, stylish, and unique. But it's for a certain type of gamer. I'm not that type of gamer. Because of it's difficulty and repetition, it puts itself in a class that isn't interesting to me. But more than just my tastes, the game does have additional flaws. 1) You can't turn in your upgrades (even at a reduced price) to get/tryI can easily see why people would like this game. Because of it's difficulty and repetition, it puts itself in a class that isn't interesting to me. But more than just my tastes, the game does have additional flaws. 1) You can't turn in your upgrades (even at a reduced price) to get/try something else. You could argue that this makes the game even more difficult, but I'd rather they increase the difficulty in a less aggravating way to locking you into an upgrade. 2) You can only go so far on simple mode, which isn't made clear at the beginning of the game. Thus, you might play through on simple for the story only to find out that won't get you to the ending. 3) Some bosses/boss parts can be easily defeated standing in a certain spot and/or doing a certain move, which you can grind to find out or watch YouTube. But to be fair, that's true for a lot of games. 4) When playing two players it can be hard to distinguish between you and your friend. I think Cuphead and Mugman should've been a little more unique from one another. 5) Should've had a kid mode so that not only could kids play this game, but casual adults too.

    Anyway, I prefer games with simple story mode or some online action. This game kept my interest for a night or two, but the aforementioned flaws and repetition was not my thing. If you're like me, this isn't the game for you.    … Expand

    El juego es grandioso. Muy buena dificultad, buenos controles, musica bestial, graficos atemporales.

    Good to see games like this make a come back a little bit. Contra anyone? Sunset riders? Metal slug???

    Sadly this game is getting far more praise than it deserves. Yeah that kind of classic side scroller shooter is a blast from the past. Yeah it's visuals are kool and kind of new to gaming. But it's just contra again basically... No need to start throwing 10s out there... It's not like    Good to see games like this make a come back a little bit. Contra anyone? Sunset riders?     Cuphead is a gem of the game. Playing with my friends at mine has been so much fun and we've even set up days to come back and beat it and are still talking about it with how fun it was. The graphics are so unique, and the soundtrack as well. The gameplay is incredibly fun as well. My only gripe with the game is that playing solo really wasn't as much as playing with friends. But for 16Cuphead is a gem of the game. Playing with my friends at mine has been so much fun and we've even set up days to come back and beat it and are still talking about it with how fun it was. The graphics are so unique, and the soundtrack as well. The gameplay is incredibly fun as well. My only gripe with the game is that playing solo really wasn't as much as playing with friends. But for 16 pounds, or 20 dollars or whatever it is, its worth it even if you don't get around to completing it just because it such a special game. Would highly recommend if you have people to play with… Expand

    This game is amazing. The graphics truly make this game look like it’s a classic cartoon. The music is also very old sounding, which adds some more charm to this game. The story I think is fun and new, I haven’t played or seen a story like this before. The gameplay is pretty hard, but the challenge is good.     Buy this game if you love plat formers or old school cartoons. I found this game hard and even frustrating at times, but I never thought the game was unfair. Everytime I died, I knew it was my fault. That is why this game is great

    All in all I am struggling to find any real bad points to this game, everything about it brings a smile to my face. From the Hanna-Barbera style look, to the simply perfect soundtrack. Add to this the incredibly challenging yet rewarding game play and you have a perfect game.     Cuphead is an extremely great game. It is very unique in it's art style and brings new life to the future of indie games. You will get very angry while playing it but that just makes it feel even better once you beat a boss. I highly recommend this to anyone unless you have anger issues.

    JUST TAKE MY MONEY! This game is the most fun I had with my Xbox in months. The art style is stunning and the smooth sound track really brings me back. There are no checkpoints in the levels and they are quite hard. It really brings me back when you die and have to replay the whole level again.

    Honestly, modern game mechanics like Quick-save and Checkpoints have spoiled me. It's great    JUST TAKE MY MONEY! This game is the most fun I had with my Xbox in months.     Every detail is amazing. At first you think some bosses are impossible, but after dying a hundred times you do get better. You can't leave the game because you always want to try again and again, also the graphics/soundtrack won't let you leave. A problem I realize is the slow loading on Xbox one.

    Uno de los mejores juegos que eh jugado en el 2017, si sera un simple indie pero se nota la pasion que le han puesto los desarrolladores al juego, es un juego divertido, su apariencia, su gameplay, su dificultad, su trucos, todo esta bien hecho, espero sigan actualizándolo, este tipo de juegos merece la pena seguir apoyándolos.     Charming, with a beautiful style that's applied in an unique way, you could say it's a unique game.
    It's very hard but it will feel worthy going through it.

    Plataformas con disparos de toda la vida. Este juego es uno de esos pocos juegos en el que solo al verlo es imposible no decir que es una obra de arte, la música, el dibujado, los movimientos....todo esta hecho con mucho cariño y dedicación, obra maestra.

    I've been waiting for this game for years and it's finally here! Boy did it deliver! Beautiful artwork, SFX and soundtrack made this a great way to revisit platform gaming. WARNING: This game is addictive and will try your patience just to get through the main story. However, nothing feels as good as actually mastering a game. If you like a challenge and great aesthetics, this is a 10/10!

    This game is a masterpiece in new enthusiastic design and art style in a game. The 1930's appeal to this visual appealing and is a great style for new further indie games to come for smaller game designers. And lets not forget about the pure torture and difficulty spike that this game throws at you within the first 30-40 minutes of playing the game after the tutorial

    Juego muy bonito echo con mucho mimo un plataforma muy bonito dibujos animado de los antiguo una banda sonora brutal juego es difícil pero aunque muere muchas veces vas a seguir intentarlo juego muy bueno

    This game is so fun and frustrating at the same time! I loved it.It was one of my best experiences in gaming and i recommend that y’all buy it,’cause you won’t regret it.I spent a lot of hours in CupHead trying to beat the same boss but i manage to finished it and what can i say? This game is so beautiful and i loved the cartoon graphics! 100% worth playing

    It's a lot of other things too, but it's main thing is that it is relentless with the player. Make the slightest mistake and you will pay. Again. And again. And again. This approach by the devs is intentional. It is very obvious that the game was designed with this philosophy. Now here's the thing. Someone can be relentless to you if they so wish, but    Cuphead is a relentless game.

    Now here's the thing. Someone can be relentless to you if they so wish, but then you have to be relentless to them too.

    If someone expects excellence, then excellence should be expected from them .

    I'll take one point off for the tiny bit of lag when you press pause-down-A to restart.
    Another point off because the spinning move can't be done directly after jumping.
    Another point off cause the spinning move has the tiniest bit of lag.
    I'll take another point off for some weapons descriptions not being accurate.
    I'll take another point off cause the final bosses don't have an easy mode.

    Un juego único e inolvidable. Quizás algo corto de ahí que no creo que se merezca un 10, pero es un juego que marca y no se olvida.

    Really couldn’t get into it, just felt too painful and unforgiving. However, that probably just comes down to preference of game style and thus I couldn’t fairy give it a negative score. The art style is also brilliant and should be reused in future games.

    Juegazo,sin mas. Para mi lo tiene todo,buenos graficos,jugabilidad depuradisima, musica brutal no podia parar de jugar y ademas he visto que soy un manco por que tengo mas de 20h,lo unico que le falta es el multijugador online,pero no se puede poner 9,5 asi que el 10

    From the moment I first saw Cuphead a couple of years ago I was instantly hooked, and to say I was looking forward to it would be a huge understatement.

    What I really like about Cuphead is it's 1930 style art style and live jazz recordings. They really set the mood for the games. The bosses are tricky but never unfair. It's a game about learning and it's super fun! It's a shame it ended so fast. I may have liked to see some more levels but since every frame was hand drawn I can see how much effort has been put into the game. Truly amazing though.

    The unique audiovisual elaborating and uncompromising playability beat a few freckles on the beauty of the game. Cuphead is a title that has mistakes, but you just cannot get it from the head. [Issue#279]
