    CrossfireX is not a good online shooter. The graphics are ugly or generic at best, the gameplay is sluggish, the aiming is sloppy, the multiplayer modes are barebones with very poor map design and the campaign (which may be salvageable) is locked behind a paywall. The big upside is that the multiplayer is free. But is it really worth playing besides the easy gamerscore?

    the multiplayer is an unreal engine 4 Demo, lazy animation, lazy gun modelling, this is amateurs works, the game is supposed to launch on mobiles.

    Awful controls. Not even possible to get handle deadzone on Xbox gamepad.
    Lack of optimization - hurt for the crowd eyes, FPS drops, lack of graphical settings
    Very few maps and lot of donats.

    I expected feeling like batter CS combined with BF2BC SP but got poor quality Combat Arms "zombie".
    Very poor animations, strange, poor models in menu, poor quality of textures, ultra boring story, bad control and so many bugs I can't say anything good about this game.

    Crossfire X is absurdly bad. the gameplay is outdated, bland map design (some stolen from CSGO) the audio is synced corrected, and its microtransaction city. the campaign by remedy isnt even on gamepass!!

    CrossfireX multiplayer is addicting tbh. Gameplay is like CounterStrike. Maps so far are fine, should have more maps later on though. The story mode is different engine than the multiplayer which is cool too. 10/10 score

    La Campaña esta Entretenida y Nunca tuve ningun problema pero le Faltan algunos Mapas y modos de juegos y que la Campaña se juege sin conexion a internet con Futuros Parches lo deben arreglar

    The core gunplay is good, but there's basically only one map for the main game mode: search and destroy. It also lacks anything that makes the game stand out from anything else in the genre, basically feeling like just a re-skin of Counter Strike GO.. Finally, it has a lot of bugs and the visuals and audio in general are cheap.

    Now this one is a bit hard to review. The campaigns, even though too short to offer proper character development and often having plot holes, are still a stellar work by Remedy. The sci-fi themes create a lot of tension around the expected apocalypse presented as inevitable, and everything in the single-player part screams of high quality. The visuals are impressive on last-gen, theNow this one is a bit hard to review. The visuals are impressive on last-gen, the particle effects and destructible environments offer a great degree of interaction, and the gunplay is fun and feels impactful. You have mission and chapter select, accessibility options, and it feels extremely polished and well optimized all around. There are also a ton of collectibles that flesh out the sci-fi themes a lot.

    Sadly, however, the multiplayer is lackluster, to say the least. Apart from the absurdly low number of maps, the graphics on last-gen are some of the blurriest and most pixelated I've ever seen during the Xbox One generation. And the fact that the campaign offers such a huge visual contrast with the multiplayer doesn't help the game at all; it only shows that Smilegate barely tested the last-gen version.

    Other than that, the premium battlepass offers skins for rewards that aren't even purchasable with normal currency, and some of the menus must be navigated by cursor (on console). It is not disastrous by any means, but it shows how extremely unpolished the game is.

    And the lack of campaign achievements is downright horrendous. I don't remember ever seeing a campaign by an AA or AAA developer to not feature achievements. Honestly, it is a shame that such a success by Remedy must be tainted by its association with such a terrible launch by Smilegate.

    Even 7 feels a bit high, but I believe Remedy's work deserves some commendation, especially since it was the main reason I was hyped for the game anyway.    … Expand

    The way the controller controls is very strange, you have a hard time hitting your enemy. Only 30fps in story mode, low resolution with frequent frame drops. Only one map per mode in multiplayer. This game is unfinished, it should not be released at this time.

    this game is a meme, it only serves to laugh and make fun of this shooter garbage. If you want to waste your time in a less useless way, go play Halo...although that's rubbish too

    Remedy сделали все от них зависящее. Только благодаря их компании игре можно уделить время. Хотя всё портит механика самой игры, которую уже делали Smilegate, которые очевидно пожадничали денег. В игре даже нету русских субтитров. Очень жаль, ведь я действительно ждал эту игру и верил в неё. Я даже предполагал, что она станет для меня лучшим эксклюзивом Xbox в этом году, но SmilegateRemedy сделали все от них зависящее. Только благодаря их компании игре можно уделить время.     Что ж, впечатления от компании у меня остались, мягко говоря, не очень. Начну с того, что играл я в пастгенную версию, поскольку у меня уже есть игровой PC и покупать Xbox Series пока что я не вижу смысла. Начну с того, что играл я в пастгенную версию, поскольку у меня уже есть игровой PC и покупать Xbox Series пока что я не вижу смысла. И если картинка с Series X на Ютубе смотрелась приятно, то пасген выглядит прям очень скверно: не прогружающиеся текстуры и объекты на каждом шагу, шлейфы за движущимися людьми, лесенки, убогие тени, странное свечение поверхностей и прочие графические артефакты. Не добавляет очков визуалу и работа дизайнеров окружения: в первой компании она не блещет.

    С геймплеем тоже не все ладно. Чувствительность стиков максимально всратая, изначально она слишком высока, причем вертикальная чувствительность заметно ниже горизонтальной, но если вертикальную и горизонтальную чувствительность еще можно подкрутить, то чувствительность по диагонали настроить под себя не удается. Сюда же можно добавить и ужасно кривое, дерганное слоу мо: пока ты прицеливаешся время идет медленно, но как только ты начинаешь стрелять — время резко ускоряется, а чувствительность повышается. Зачем это было сделано совершенно непонятно, но целиться из-за этого становится еще более неудобно (хотя, казалось бы, куда уж еще). Как такое вообще могли пропустить в релиз — совершенно непонятно, Ремеди на играбельность своего детища просто болтяру положили. Есть претензии и к арсеналу: ничего необычного в нем нет, пушки одного типа стреляют почти одинакого, импакта не чувствуется, а дробовик не убивает с выстрела в упор противника без брони.

    Не блещет и сюжет: он туп и полон клише, диалоги нелепы , катсцены неказисты. Правда, во второй кампании дела обстоят чуть лучше: режиссуру роликов и дизайн окружения заметно прокачали, добавили пару новых стволов, да и к управлению за пару часов худо-бедно приноравливаешься, из-за чего происходящее начинает выглядеть несколько бодрее. Правда, самые критичные косяки никуда не исчезают и все равно мешают наслаждаться игровым процессом. Можно было бы покритиковать и продолжительность игры, ведь обе компании проходятся от силы часа за четыре часа, но в данном случае я сомневаюсь, что это минус.

    Потенциал сделать удобоваримый аналог Call of Duty был, но он оказался благополучно просран благодаря нежеланию разработчиков приложить хотя бы минимальные усилия к полировке и оптимизации своего творения. Не скажу, что это худшая игра в которую я когда либо играл, благодаря разным подпискам, бандлам и раздачам на Steamgifts я повидал немало дерьма. Но это определенно худшая игра на которую я потратил деньги за последние лет десять.    … Expand

    There are several game modes to play with each mode being tied to its own map. There is also modern vs classic mode which provides a very different experience.

    Negatives - not enough variety in maps. No playlists or big team or free for all modes. Classic mode has more mode options than modern, which means that anyone who prefers having a zoom sight, and sprint, with extra abilities only have 2 modes to choose from instead of 5.

    CrossfireX is fun to play casually, but it just doesn't measure up to modern FPS standards. The campaign stories are bland and aside from searching for a few collectibles, each mission is pretty much the same as the last one. Completing a few multiplayer matches can still be entertaining in CrossfireX, but it gets old quickly, and there isn't much of a difference between guns. Without the incentive to get new weapons, the Battle Pass and customization options aren't worth buying into, and the loadout doesn't really matter. Overall, CrossfireX is a fun experience for casual gamers, but it missed the mark as a top FPS game.
