People who want to experience the nostalgia of games and cartoons from the ‘80s will most likely enjoy Clash Force on Xbox One, and for the price point, there isn’t much harm in trying it out yourself. It doesn’t really do anything wrong, it just doesn’t do much right either.

It’s hard to write about this game as it’s just not very much fun. It’s a cheap and average run-and-gun side scroller. The music has a nostalgic feel and the achievements are nice and simple. It’s a one hour run and you only need to beat the first 15 stages. It’s a shame the 3 characters don’t have unique abilities and that boss fights aren’t more challenging.

Clash Force was surprisingly pleasant but yet definately difficult to the point I was slightly frustrated. Reminded me of classic coin-90Clash Force was surprisingly pleasant but yet definately difficult to the point I was slightly frustrated. Reminded me of classic coin-90 arcade games I would play when I was a child. The controls are super simple and easy to get use to. The levels were designed well and the enemies and boss mechanics weren't super hard nor simple. For it being a value priced game I feel it's great and worth a purchase. A good game for kids also and the graphics are what you would expect for a game aiming to be retro and old school. Not disappointed in the least and a fun game to pass time if your not sure what to play. Definitely another good release by Ratalaika games for the Xbox family of consoles. Full Review »
