    Do you like Chrono Cross? If yes, play the original on your emulator. This version is worse in all the aspects. Shame on Square. Decaying company.

    Game is exactly in almost every sense than PSX original. Only Switch and Steam ports are quite worst with a lot of FPS issues. Same sounds, same OST, same graphics and particles, same everything. No loading screens or troubles at all, game is fine in every sense. Don't know why people is killing it. It    Tested on Xbox One FAT, Xbox One S All Digital and Xbox Series S (50+ hours)

    Played after 60fps patch, techicaly all good. Story didnt entertain me, battle neither, world is good

    A lazy remaster completely undeserving of your money. Unforgivably low frame rate; glitching achievements; inconsistent features across different versions. Square Enix have promised fixes, but they appear to have abandoned this game.

    If you want to play Chrono Cross, play the original. This is the worst way to experience the game.

    Long awaited masterpiece Chrono Cross is back, and the HD remaster done by Square-Enix fit perfectly as an ode to the series started in 1995 with Chrono Trigger. Now with the sequel-spin-off Radical Dreamers for the first time released across the world and finally translated, The Radical Dreamers Edition does and outstanding job reminding us how epic was Chrono Cross back in 1999 and how it's still up to date in 2022 in terms of quality and gameplay. One of the best JRPG ever made with new 3D models, 2D redrawn work on HD and power-up buttons. Probably the best HD remaster from Square-Enix made to date. Not a single technical issue despite controversy across social media, we played 50+ hours on four different Xbox consoles, and even PS4, just to find out Switch and Steam ports are the ones having real trouble on framerate and delay, not on Xbox nor PS4.

    I found that this game will bring nothing but hours of entertainment, with 40 uniquely different characters to play and a story that unravels as you play and defeat enemies along the way. It’s definitely a game to have in one’s collection.

    The completed restoration is more or less in line with expectations: the inclusion of Radical Dreamers, a discreet reinterpretation of the audio / visual sector, a good localization in Italian and new game mechanics to attract younger users or newbies to the genre. Now that we have seen the re-release of Chrono Cross, another question legitimately arises: when is the return of Vagrant Story?
