Fun and addicting has the InfinityWard has brought to the broken down game we call Ghosts. Ghosts has it's problems, but dlc sure to prove the make up of Their mistakes. Behemoth is long narrow map from long to short range combat. Known as knife city( hence the name) it provides good movement for kill based modes and objective modes. Ruins offers a great hype out all of them, mainly because of the Predator. Though the map can be campy, it has good routes to hunt your enemy. Collision is also a pretty good map offering good short to long rang engagement on the crashed ship. The dlc gun, the ripper, is a great gun addition released after the maverick, which proves to be a better weapon . Moving to extinction it provides a great sequel to the episodic series were Samantha is evil now and you have to kill a kraken! Overall the dlc is worth every penny Expand

At last! Devastation launched with four maps which actually redeem Call of Duty: Ghosts for me, along with a new weapon I consider a valuable asset. The maps are much brighter in colour and are well suited to SMG and Assault Rifle weapons. I haven't played the Extinction mode for this DLC yet. As a recommendation, I'd buy this over the first Onslaught DLC. Enjoy.

Devastation is better than the actual campaign of Ghosts on a whole. It's solid and excellent at multiplayer worth the 15 bucks. This map made Cod Ghosts's boring setup better for me. Must buy.

    A fitting map pack.

The maps look bright and colourful but to play; they are appalling. Ruins has to be the worst map I have ever participated on. The layout is dreadful, the terrain makes it hard to seek enemies and camping is rife. Behemoth is narrow and long. The spawns are shockingly bad and there is little scope to move around as you essentially have to move forwards the whole time. Unearthed is just a rehash of Dome but it looks like textures have been pasted in from Prison Break. Doesn't play like the old map from MW3 but we already have Strikezone which isn't too different either. Collision is the best of a bad bunch but nothing special. The spawns are terrible one this map also but at least the layout is slightly enjoyable.

Overall, I do not recommend giving Activison any more of your hard-earned money. Ghosts is a poor game and this map pack just adds insult to injury. Shocking design and horrendous spawns is the final nail is this broken coffin of a game. IW should be ashamed.

Oh well; I'm sure they'll bring out Miley Cyrus DLC just to keep interest until the next pack arrives.

The overall package could stand to be more robust, but thanks to Mayday, Devastation still packs a punch. [July 2014, p.77]

If you’re a major Call of Duty fan, I don’t have to tell you to buy a season pass for Ghosts and the remaining DLC packs. However, if you’re a casual player like me, reconsider your purchase of the Hardened or Veteran or Super-Soldier pack with the included remote control helo-tank when the next yearly entry rolls around. Chances are you won’t keep up with the competition to justify the included DLC codes anyway.

Sure the $15.00 dollar price tag is a tad hefty but when you consider you get four incredibly detailed maps, a new weapon that kicks ass, a new Extinction level and let’s not forget the Predator, Devastation is solid. Period.
