    While playing Bond of the Skies, exploring the different dungeons and always felt rewarding because there was always something to find within. There is also a solid amount of quests as well. Kemco is becoming a huge publisher for Xbox fans as they are releasing games frequently and every game they release seems to be solid technically and fun as well. I didn’t know anything about Bond of the Skies as it seemed to come out of nowhere at release. It was a nice surprise to say the least, and from the moment I started this game I really enjoyed what it had to offer when it came to the presentation of the art style and sound design. In regards to the gameplay it’s your typical RPG formula and whilst this may seem a bit overused for some I actually enjoy traversing various environments because there always seems to be something new to find. I would request that the something additional or new was applied to the enemies as I felt there could have been more variety and quantity of them. Thankfully though the easy to pick up and play style kept the game from being too overbearing and the strong line story did help the lack of variety in the characters. Bonds of the Skies isn’t the best game I’ve experienced from Kemco but it’s still a worthy addition to their catalogue and if you’re a fan of their previous games then I recommend that you give this game a try. Thumbs up, watch out for Kemco Xbox fans they are on fire!… Expand

    As a JRPG, Bonds of the Skies is perfectly serviceable, but really doesn’t do anything new or exciting for the most part, not that that’s a bad thing, but it won’t leave a lasting impression like some of the greats. Staying to the tried-and-true JRPG format works here but it also feels like dozens of other classic JRPG’s you’ve played numerous times before. It won’t wow you by any means, but it’s completely serviceable and a decent distraction for a handful of hours if you’re craving a new classic JRPG to explore.

    The story is actually not bad at all, inspiring anyone to follow it all the way to the end, and should you do so, will find a good game struggling to get out. The battles are good, with powerful magical attacks to unlock and use, and the battle system itself is very well thought out. The game does suffer a bit for being so similar to the rest of KEMCO’s recent output, but it isn’t a bad experience per se.
