I was a huge fan of the last one on xbox 360. This is in improvement on every level. The online feels fulfilling compared to the last one and I like the idea of being able to create new leagues for friends and others. The downside is everybody creates a league, people join....and because nobody was playing in the league you can never find a match unless you only search in the largest oneI was a huge fan of the last one on xbox 360. The menu interface is a huge upgrade not only graphically but functionally. Is this game for you? Hard to tell.....if you like turn based games then yes....if you only like run n gun COD type stuff....then no....you will likely hate it. It takes patience, strategy and a bit of luck to do well.
In conclusion....is it GOTY? No....but I doubt Cyanide hoped for that. Is it good....hell yes. I enjoy it immensely...hope to see you on the pitch.

A truly fun digital version of the 80's boardgame. I couldn't stop playing till I had to go to sleep at 6am finally. I have played the previous PC digital versions, and this one is so much more polished and fun than it was before. The controls on the xbox are easy to use and the graphics are really good. The voice acting and commentary for the campain mode are well done as well. I haven'tA truly fun digital version of the 80's boardgame. Blood Bowl II is a strategy game, far more than it is a sports title. It probably won’t have much crossover appeal to the sports fan. However, for those who are into methodical, turn-based strategic affairs, or anyone who was a fan of the first Blood Bowl video game or its board game, it delivers on exactly what it promises.

Blood Bowl 2's dry humor, colorful visuals, explosive brutality, and over-the-top fantasy characters will appeal to die-hard Warhammer fans.

If you're patient and able to get your head around a challenging set of rules, there's fun to be had with Blood Bowl 2. Otherwise, it's one that's only going to appeal when you're in the right mood. [Issue#130, p.84]
