    Blazing Beaks is a crazy adventure where you'll find yourself fighting monsters and searching for artifacts. There's an endless line-up of enemies for you to shoot and blast through. A cute and charming world that increases in difficulty, and as you progress through the levels you’ll be hallmarked with plenty of surprises.

    Blazing Beaks is a fun, but very tough, game. You need fast reflexes and good decision making if you are going to finish a playthrough of the story mode. I found the quandary of taking an artefact with a penalty for a chance of a better boon later fascinating as it’s based on your confidence in your ability to survive until you can reap the benefits. It’s just a shame that you cannot play the main story online with a friend or play multiplayer online.

    Blazing Beaks on Xbox is definitely worth picking up. It’s challenging, well put together, and just a fun way to kill some time. It's helped by the fact that the risk and reward mechanics are extremely well-done, especially since the amount of risk is tailored to what the player decides.
