What a GREAT GAME ! I will keep it short and simple. I'm new to the BIOSHOCK series and I'm glad because I get to play it at a very sharp 1080p and at a very smooth running 60 frames per second. BIOSHOCK is unique & shines in all areas and this is a must especially for anyone new to the series like myself. Its in my top 10 games of all time without doubt. :) You'll love it. Expand

All games in the package look noticeably better than the last gen console versions. Significant effort was put into the first 2 games while Bioshock Infinite is just a port of the PC version set to "very high" graphics option (I compared it in the past and it was running on the low graphics on last gen systems). Simply put, the YouTube comparisons don't do this collection justice, because the texture quality has been bumped up by a lot in all three games. Moreover, each game runs in 1080p and presents a crisp and vibrant image compared to the washed out and blurry image of the last gen versions. Frame rate is also 60 FPS in all with some dips here and there. There is also no day one patch for any of the titles, so you can play these games out of the box without a problem. The extras are mind blowing with all DLC thrown in and new features like the developer commentary and concept arts. The packaging is also slick. Considering how much effort 2K put into this collection, it's worth the price than most "remasters" being put out at slightly lesser price. Expand

As someone who only played Bioshock Infinite, Bioshock: The Collection is among the highest value games I have ever played. The fact that it comes with every DLC is what finally sold me on the game. As far the remastering goes, it is exactly what you should expect. Bioshock 1&2 definitely feel like older games that have basically had a facelift, while infinite plays even better than it didAs someone who only played Bioshock Infinite, Bioshock: The Collection is among the highest value games I have ever played. The story in Bioshock series is perhaps the best of any videogame I have ever played. I can certainly see how the original is considered among the greatest game of all time. It is a tall task to impress me as much as these three games have so far, and I can't wait to finish all of the additional content that comes with the game like the DLC and directors commentary.

Bioshock as a series will make history as one of the greatest game series of all time. Bioshock 1 was and has stayed my favorite game of all time since it came out. I would (and have) paid 60 dollars for each individual game. Here you get three single player games, yeah, go buy it.

Absolute garbage collection. Nothing more than a quick cash grab that doesn't do much else but increase the resolution. Even on Xbox One X the textures are often very unsharp and muddy. Amazing remastered masterpieces specially with the latest update that brings you 4k-ish and 60fps on the Xbox X. A joy.

So far, the game is exactly what it should be: a nice remaster of the original games, without any changes to the gameplay. The graphics, especially for the original Bioshock, are a definite upgrade from the original version of the game. The developer commentary is very interesting, and also fun to look for. The achievements, for the most part, are the same achievements that they were for the original games. I did notice that in Bioshock Infinite, there were parts of the game where the framerate really dipped in ways that the original did not. I also noticed some audio glitches when playing audio diaries that were not present in the original game. All that being said, these did not ruin the experience, and I still recommend this over the original for increased framerate/resolution alone. I just wish that these incredible games got the remaster that they deserved. Expand

I tried only B:I as my fav of the 3 games. Graphics are better than Ultra settings on PC. I am on a HDR 4K Curved Samsung TV and XONE S 2TB. They really managed to enhance visuals even compared to PC not to spak of last gen consoles. Recommend this remaster for everyone its an excellent gaming experience with stunning graphics for a reasonable price.

I wouldn’t recommend getting this if you already have all three of the games but for people like me who didn’t have a chance to play this it was amazing to finally get to play Bioshock 1 and 2.

This is a near perfect collection of one of my favorite series of all time. It does have problems like extreme bugs and glitches in the first Bioshock game though. Overall this is an easy 9 out of 10 and my Buy It Seal of Approval.

Good collection, but too much race politics in Infinite. Just turns me off. Expansion packs are no better. Burial at Sea, where you meet an instantly unlikeable Elizabeth within the first minute, followed by weird stuff, like gay people. No, thanks. Not my video games.

The games definitely look better than they did. The problem is at least with the original game you get lag spikes so often it really ruins the playability of the game itself.

Currently I've only finished part 1. The game is good yes, but it is a f*cking disappointment. The game crashed 4 times and I lost over 5 hours of progress. The game crashed when I wanted to save.... Why the f*ck didn't the developer fix this in a remaster???

maybe I'll change the rating after I finished part 2 and 3.

    I am still angry...

this collection is a great set of FPS RPGs, and is a great introduction to the genres, the story is a practical masterpiece, im a bit intimidated to see what the 4th game has in store, but just in case, the bioshock collection will be here as a safety net

The BioShock games are one of the top series in gaming, and if you haven't played these games before you owe it to yourself to pick up this collection. Even if you have, it is worth your time to revisit them and play your way through them again. I found that I picked up on new elements and some of the more subtle aspects of the stories the second time through, giving me a greater appreciation for how well-crafted the stories are.

Bioshock: The Collection takes what we remembered about our time in Rapture, and the city in the sky "Columbia", and tugs on the heartstrings of our emotional attachment that started with the Big Daddy and the Little Sisters, and plays our soul like a Stradivarius. After all these years Bioshock: The Collection still provides one fantastic gaming moment after another.
