    Extremely ridiculous game with boring as **** gameplay filled with everything but "beating up the bad guys"... the entire game is filled with boring as hell mini-games, ****ty ass platforming, spaceship minigame that is pretty much a galaga wanna be.... the Beat em Up parts.... the beat em up parts are usually the most "entertaining" parts of the game, and here, it happens after a longExtremely ridiculous game with boring as **** gameplay filled with everything but "beating up the bad guys"... the entire game is filled with boring as hell mini-games, ****ty ass platforming, spaceship minigame that is pretty much a galaga wanna be.... the Beat em Up parts.... the beat em up parts are usually the most "entertaining" parts of the game, and here, it happens after a long time of torture with the stupid mini-games, quicktime events and everything else that is not funny and entertaining at all, the humor is ridiculous but its so far the best thing this game has to offer, because the rest is just **** and not to mention... the game is too short, you can beat it 3 hours or less… Expand

    Que juego tan feo, paleta de colores muy alegre que dan ganas de vomitar, humor ridículo, malos rediseños de personajes feos. Este juego parece una caricatura de mala calidad de cartoon network. Este es una patada para los fans de BattleToads y uno de los peores regresos de una saga tan amada ahora pisoteada. Bien hecho Microsoft

    o jogo abandona a historia dos antecessores cade o mestre dos battletoads? tem partes genericas de plataforma, nave e beat up, o desing dos inimigos e bem bosta, os do battletoads ate salva, ou seja um jogo merda, eu conseguiria fazer um jogo melhor que esse sem nem usar os personagens.

    Man I was so mad because I believed they cancelled this game because everyone complained about the art direction, this game legitimately doesn't feel like battletoads, it's just a game with Rash, Pimple, and Zits that also happened to be a beat em up, it's typical of Microsoft to be extremely lazy about the games that made Rare popular. Probably not normies, but I only played this game because it's battletoads, and it doesn't feel like battletoads, I'd rather master the turbo tunnels (which I have) than play this game.… Expand

    Battletoads felt like they were supposed to be kind of like the edgey counterparts to Ninja Turtles. The arcade cabinet had a bunch of blood and guts, the Queen always dressed like a hooker, the graphics were never nearly as bright and shiney as it was presented here.

    The graphics looks like modern day flash animation. And I get it, I am sure that people are probably tired of hearing    Battletoads felt like they were supposed to be kind of like the edgey counterparts to Ninja Turtles.     It just looks and feels like they made it as non offensive as possible. And I suppose I get that from a marketing standpoint, they'll be able to pull in a much wider demographic because of that. Unfortunately in the process, Rare has managed to basically completely alienate the original fans of the series from the franchise. Great job on neutering the Battletoads.    … Expand

    Não adianta, só jogando para entender a proposta do jogo, não adianta julgar apenas por vídeo. O jogo em si é muito bom e divertido, apesar do estilo mais animado ser diferente dos games da década de 90 , ficou muito bacana. Para quem acha que a jogabilidade é lenta não se engane, não é. O jogo tem vários tipos de fases diferentes e alguns mini games. O jogo conseguiu inovar mesmo ao mesmoNão adianta, só jogando para entender a proposta do jogo, não adianta julgar apenas por vídeo. O jogo em si é muito bom e divertido, apesar do estilo mais animado ser diferente dos games da década de 90 , ficou muito bacana. Para quem acha que a jogabilidade é lenta não se engane, não é. O jogo tem vários tipos de fases diferentes e alguns mini games. O jogo conseguiu inovar mesmo ao mesmo tempo em que homenageia os games da década de 90. Joguei no nível "Sapo", que seria o médio, e achei que está adequado, talvez o nível "Battletoads" faz jus ao nível de dificuldade da série. O humor é algo que está sempre presente, em alguns momentos parece um desenho animado. Recomendo o jogo, para quem achou curto, acho que está adequado com a proposta do jogo.     Hasta el de Super Nintendo era mejor... Vaya destrozo que han hecho con este juego.
    Estoy cansado de la poca calidad de XBOX, la próxima generación no pienso equivocarme y compraré una PlayStation 5.
    Lo peor que hice fue comprar la Xbox

Lo mejor del juego es que bebe de Street of Rage y del estilo animado y hunorístico tipo Cartoon Network, hasta aquí lo bueno de mi review, el juego es extremadamente corto (en menos de 3 horas lo terminas), no tiene coop online, y se hace tremendamente repetitivo..... no era el regreso de la saga que se esperaba… Expand

    Esse jogo é muito divertido e engraçado, possui uma variedade de gameplay tão grande e a história é muito legal, infelizmente falta um coop online para ser perfeito

    First half of this game is a Beat 'Em Up with some QTEs & hacking mini games. Second half of the game is fighting with itself on if it wants to be a platformer, a QTE mini game, a twin stick shooter... it is a hodgepodge. Game has no idea what it wants to be.

    The humor is silly. If you like Borderlands then this fits in. Cutscenes feel very... Teen Titans Go inspired. Story feels so... Not to mention there is one line in the game that clearly 'slays the patriarchy' with the Queen talking nonsense about male privilege.

    This game just feels like Rare has no idea how to execute ideas. It also overall just feels lazy and/or done by a very tiny portion of their talent.    … Expand

    Um dos jogos mais divertido em tempos. Fazia tempo que Nak via um jogo com tanto humor e ao mesmo tempo desafiador, recomendo muito!

    El juego no merece el 7 que le dan y no por ser fanboy la verdad es que jugué los de antaño y son una joya y un tremendo dolor de dificultad y si son para un público mas maduro aunque yo lo jugaba a los 10 años jaja pero aún así este no ha sido un mal juego hay cosas que están mal si, cuales? 1 animación se que a muchos no le gusto y estoy deacuerdo, 2 chistes algo malos y sosos 3 darkEl juego no merece el 7 que le dan y no por ser fanboy la verdad es que jugué los de antaño y son una joya y un tremendo dolor de dificultad y si son para un público mas maduro aunque yo lo jugaba a los 10 años jaja pero aún así este no ha sido un mal juego hay cosas que están mal si, cuales? 1 animación se que a muchos no le gusto y estoy deacuerdo, 2 chistes algo malos y sosos 3 dark Queen pero de ahí en fuera la gameplay es delicioso, el soundtrack buenísimo, es muy divertido sobretodo con el player 2 la historia me parece muy entretenida lo pase en un 2 días con mi hermano en la dificutad más alta y si es un reto pasarlo así no será un gran reto como en los juegos de antaño pero no te desepera perder o pelear con los enemigos, yo no esperaba nada de este juego de hecho hasta lo había olvidado y lo jugué me gustó mucho, le pondria más calificación pero solo este 8 pienso que es lo que se merece, no es el juego de el año, tampoco es la basura de el año eso dejémoslo para, free fire jaja (es broma) Pero es un juego muy divertido si tienes Game pass y te gusta el coop debes jugarlo te divertirás mucho pero si eres de esos que quiere que este battletoads sea una calca exacta de lo que era hace 29 años entonces no creo que sea para ti, mejor ve a rejugsr esos clásicos que jamás serán superados… Expand

    I loved Battletoads as a franchise, I had a blast with every game released and even games the toads cameoed in were all good games. Then this came along. The game looks like crap a two year old could have made and doesn’t play much better. Thanks for killing Battletoads for me.

    Divertido e desafiador. Como um cara que nunca jogou os jogos antigos, não sou apto para dizer se é melhor ou pior que os anteriores. Curti praticamente tudo em questão de gameplay e suas mecânicas, porém achei o estilo de arte do jogo bem zoado, mas nada que atrapalhou minha experiência.

    Destruíram a franquia Battletoads, joguinho de celular que não tem nada de nostálgico. Uma pena, gráficos abaixo do esperado, puzzles idiotas, e missões que parecem com joguinho de atari. História idiota, jogo curto demais. Mais uma vez a Microsoft decepcionando. Só não dou zero por pena.

    O jogo é extremamente bom, jogabilidade boa e gráficos bons, tem gente que se nega a aceitar o novo e crítica quando algo toma novos rumos. Battletoads é um jogo bom.

    o jogo é muito divertido, mesmo os personagens cartunescos deixam o game interessante, cenários muito bem acabados, combos, velocidade, dificuldade, músicas, jogabilidade estão ótimos, diversão garantida.

    Esse novo Battletoads é o mais enraizado do que as versões do Super Nintendo e Arcade.
    Jogo é fantástico!
    É sem dúvidas o melhor Battletoads já feito.

    Es un gran juego, te hace sentir como en los 90's , realmente un gran trabajo en las mecánicas y en el arte del juego , animaciones muy buenas y un audio espectacular

    The game is amazing, the mechanics of combos, character changes, art direction, story and the voice acting is very good too, however, there is a multiplayer missing, the only thing you would need for the game to be complete! Congratulations to Dlala and Rare, together with the Microsoft team :)

    O jogo tá legal, parece um dos desenhos do cartoon network, só não dá pra jogar em coop mas não deixa de ser um belo jogo. Valeu Dlala e Xbox.

    o jogo é divertido, tem animações bem feitas e uma grande variedade na gameplay, mas ele acaba se perdendo em alguns momentos em criar um desafio justo colocando muitos inimigos na tela, oq o torna frustrante quando se joga sozinho

    Juggling genres is the series’ trademark and the latest game offers much larger variety in that aspect than any of its predecessor. Most of the genres were tackled well enough, but not all ideas are spot-on and almost every part of the game could be improved. It is the best Battletoads game to date though and it would’ve scored higher if it wasn’t for one frustrating and infuriating section towards the end of the campaign. [11/2020, p.55]
