    Great old-school fun with friends in the couch sharing the same screen. I played with my son and my wife, like with my brother and friends long ago. There was everything I do remmember and much more, giving more dynamic to a very classic gameplay. We beat the game between 4-5 hrs, so, this is a family or friends game; a lot of lone-gamers will pass the game lossing the 75% of the fun.Great old-school fun with friends in the couch sharing the same screen.     Me parece un juego impresionante, no de 10 pero pongo 10 por los sonyers locos que se la pasan criticando juegos que no han jugado...
    Yo a este juego le doy un 8.5, los gráficos son excelentes, a veces la movilidad se siente un poco torpe pero te acostumbras después de un rato, en el gameplay es muy divertido y me gusta que no es un juego totalmente fácil, pero tampoco es el battletoads    Me parece un juego impresionante, no de 10 pero pongo 10 por los sonyers locos que se la pasan criticando juegos que no han jugado...

    It's a really fun game, full of jokes and different styles of gameplay, all levels are fun and different. The bad reviews on the game are made by boomers or snowflakes not able to cope with 2020's world or the jokes in the game.

    Battletoads foi a melhor coisa que a Rare poderia fazer por mim, o jogo é maravilhoso em vários aspectos, e sim está muito bonito!

    Мне 33 года, и я фанат серии ещё с денди. Для меня это супер игра, прошёл на Максимальной сложности - это было реально сложно! Побольше бы таких игр, в которых невозможно заскучать. Жаль нет онлайн кооператива.

    This game is truly one of the most fun games i've ever played , it's humor is fantastic and coop is perfect , the game changes a lot and it is always a pleasent surprise.

    Solo, the game is a 7 or so. Playing couch cooperative, puts it up to a 9. I know some will complain about the lack of online support, but with the split second timing required to play the games more difficult sections, adding any online latency would lead to a very frustrating experience.

    I absolutely LOVED this game. The art style and animation is top notch, the cut scenes and writing are hilarious, and the variety of the game modes that you keep switching between are refreshing. I binge played this thing just to finish it and see all the cut scenes. The controls are spot on as well, though it is much easier than the old NES game.

    A great experience playing this game with amazing gameplay a cartoon graphic style and a great sense of humour, the minigames are very different, i only think the problem its a very short game im finish that in 5 hours only and played in co-op its more fun than playing solo.

    Sometimes, when a console is not doing great in terms of sales, most people throw s*ht to anything released on that system.

    This was the case with games like this Battletoads, which is completely enjoyable, it keeps the pace of the original IP and tons of humor. The only thing I agree, is villians suffered from its new design, some look lame.     Не понимаю, почему многим так не понравилась эта игра? Да - новая рисовка. Но к этому можно привыкнуть. Геймплейно это все тот же Battletoads, что и в конце 90ых...ну почти.

Minha única crítica negativa vai pra alguns minigames que me entediaram (o das "olimpíadas" e o último puzzle pra consertar a nave foram um parto). Essas partes quebraram um pouco a dinâmica e eu substituiria facilmente por mais beat'em up. Também trocaria pelo menos uma de nave e aO jogo é ABSURDAMENTE divertido e variado, além de muito difícil e com uma trilha sonora sensacional! Minha única crítica negativa vai pra alguns minigames que me entediaram (o das "olimpíadas" e o último puzzle pra consertar a nave foram um parto).     Jogo muito divertido, otimo para jogar com os amigos, pena não ter multiplayer online, gráfico bonito, estilo de arte não faz muito meu tipo, mas, não atrapalha em nada tbm, excelente jogo pra colocar o papo em dia com os amigos e engordurar uns controle com salgadinhos enquanto joga .

    giving it low rating because you only hate the platform is just sick , people need to grow up.

    I didnt leave the controller until i finished the game from start to end.

    Had a total blast with this Battletoads sequel. The animated bits are funny as hell and the action is quick and responsive. Some of the mini games don't land but I love the tone shifts between the brawling sequences. Hope we get a sequel down the line. Great job Dlala studios!

    I don't know why people hate this game, because of Dark Queen? Really? It's been 26 years, she is not that hot thing anymore)) Besides, she is not the enemy now, so there is no point to draw she like a hooker. This game is so much fun, great animations and graphics. The gameplay is so fluent and fun. I'm a fan of Battletoads and Double Dragon too. Also, cutscenes feel like cartoons, so cool.

    I wasn't expecting this game to be this funny. Humor is on point, gameplay is pretty good, story is simple but interesting and the characters are really charismatic. I'm someone who prefers dark and complex stories over humorous silly ones, but this was amazing.

    This game is AWESOME. Very funny, kinda difficult sometimes, but the checkpoints help you a lot. First, I was a little disappointed with the art style, like many. But, after 5 minutes playing, you will change your mind. This is how a video game should be, FUN to play.

    Fells like old platform games and that is good, even they made it more modern cartoon, the game concept and sound is pretty good and have its difficult if you play on batletoads mode. The split screen mode is a must nowadays, and the only complaint reasonable that can be done here is that it could be more longer than it actually is.

    Ao ver a arte pela primeira vez, não me interessei, na verdade fiquei decepcionado, ao lembrar do Rash no Killer Istinct. Mas quando joguei, me surpreendi. O jogo vai além de um "briga de rua", com fases de moto, que são de arrancar o cabelo de raiva, até puzzle's. Eu me diverti muito jogando, espero que mais pessoas, possam experimentar, e não julgar o game, pela arte.

Some levels can be pretty tough, but there was no unbearably hard level or challenge that took me too more than a couple of attempts to complete.I have literally nothing bad to say about this game.

I really enjoyed the combat but i thought that some combos were difficult to pull off on the xbox controller. This would probably be better on a keyboard.

    Cutscenes in this game can come across as quite "childish" but also made me laugh out loud on many occasions. The writing for each character is great and they comedically balance eachother's personality.

    I said that this game starts out strong, and this is because the game loses its identity at around the 3-4 hour mark. I think they try and venture too deep into different genres and you dont have a single beat em up sequence for a long time. As i said before, this game is a beat em up at the core, and it became a sort of mess in the middle, which some people will take as a positive, but i took as a slight negative, as the beat em up parts is where battletoads flourishes. The story also starts to drag at this point, theyre trying to fill in content for a simple story, and dont execute it too well. However the gameplay more or less make up for this (atleast for me)

    I think in the end, battletoads (2020) is a light hearted, humorous arcade sorta game, which can be enjoyed the first time round, but isnt something to be replayed as there isnt too much to do after. I really hope a sequel releases as it could really build upon the story and i would love to see a TV show made for this    … Expand

    Hard game, yes. But at least the graphics give it a cool Saturday Morning Cartoon vibe from the '90s. I've heard of a pilot episode of the same title from 1992, but I haven't seen that yet. To the production companies that make cartoons, make Battletoads the Animated Series happen!

    Simplesmente uma experiência excelente, todo o gameplay frenético me fez querer cada vez mais jogar o jogo, que simplesmente não deixa você enjoar do sistema de lutas, colocando-o para jogar outros modos que são tão divertidos quanto. Pra mim, o único motivo para não ser 10 foi pelo jogo ser pequeno .

    I’m not much for beat em up style game but this is so much fun. I did not expect myself to like this game but to my surprise I found myself beating the game. Everything about this game is great. Only reason I’m not putting 10 is because it was a little short for my liking but in the end everyone should try this game. If you have family try this game with them as well.

It was fun and I like the duel controls it realeia about teamwork. Was a little iffy on the art style at first but found it vert charming after a few minutes. The variety in gameplay was fantastic.     I feel like the reviews of Battletoads have not done it justice and very much enjoyed the game although the controls were hard to get used to.

    O jogo é muito divertido e dinâmico e faz muito bem o que se propõe a fazer. Quem gosta do estilo certamente vai gostar do jogo!
    Único ponto negativo é o excesso de minigames, mas não atrapalha a experiência

    Es una experiencia fresca y a la vez nostalgica, los diseños son buenos, la musica es exelente y la dificultad decente sin caer en lo facil y exagerado del titulo de nes, recomiendo jugar antes de dejarse llevar por las criticas de esta página pero a opinio personal es muy buen juego

    It's a good time with friends and family, downside no online play as of now, not enough beat em up levels, but it makes up for it by being sometimes a short cartoon show here and there, that's actually well voice acted and funny. It's still a game and a good one at that, with good art style and animation.

    Finally got around to playing it and was surprised it’s actually a decent game. Story is mostly hilarious. Hoping to see a sequel.

    Otro juego con las notas boicoteadas por la comunidad de PlayStation, como siempre rabiosos y comportandose como críos. Otro juego vapuleado a ceros por ser de Microsoft/Xbox y la prensa y YouTubers q hablan de ello cuando es de PlayStation callados.
    El juego me ha gustado mucho, sinceramente quiero otra entrega cuanto antes, divertido y para mí la estética acertada.

    Have been really enjoying this one via Gamepass. The gameplay is satisfying with just the right amount of challenge. I like the characters and the humor, kind of has a kids TV show vibe, lots of fourth wall breaks and funny jokes.

    Great update of the series with a good sense of humor, self parody and in terms of gameplay a good beat 'em up. I hated the art style when the game was revealed, but after playing it I loved it. Music is great.

La principal y más famosa es la de beat ‘em up clásico, pero tiene muchas más en forma de carreras de motos en las que hay que esquivar los obstáculos (mítica y difícil fase heredada del clásico), fases de shoot ‘em up de naves estilo twin stick shooter, fases de plataformas en 2d con resolución del puzzles y una colección de fases de minijuegos con QTE, rítmicos, puzzles de diversa índole, etc. en definitiva, siempre pareces estar haciendo cosas distintas. Esto puede no atraer a los fans de beat ‘em up, pero en honor a la verdad, Battletoads siempre fue un poco así, nunca fue un beat ‘em up puro.

    Por otra parte está la historia que se nos presenta como un episodio de dibujos animados que bien podría haber aparecido en Cartoon Network. No es un material que vaya a pasar a la historia, pero sirve de hilo conductor al juego y te echas alguna que otra risa con sus locuras.

    En definitiva, es un juego recomendable si eres un gamer veterano y te gustan estos lavados de cara de juegos clásicos. Battletoads cumple con lo que promete y es bastante fiel al material original. Divertido. Esta en game pass, por lo que no hay excusa para probarlo.    … Expand

SIgue siendo igual de entretenido y "cool" como antes; y siguen quedándote esas ganas de volver a jugarlo para terminarlo con mejores calificaciones y tiempos más cortos. Esa es precisamente la esencia de Battletoads; lo que se suma, a un excelente estilo "cartoon", que a mi parecer le queda mejor que uno más "foto realista", o animado de actuales generaciones. ¿Quizás deberían innovar generando una nueva entrega en 3D y tipo "hack and slash"?     Haven't finished it yet but I am having a blast playing it. I really like the art style and humor a lot the gameplay/combat is good too! On gamepass this is a no brainer

    I don't like the new art-style. Old Toads are more brutal and I like it more.
    But beat 'em up gameplay is pretty nice.

    Totally: not great not terrible.
    PS: Microsoft, guys, I know you can better.

    O jogo é muito divertido, não fica preso em apenas andar e bater, tem muitas variações de tipos de fases e cenários, trilha sonora boa (no geral) apenas achei os "traços" meio infantis demais, e tem uma fase aonde precisa se consertar a nave do jogo que é muito bagunçado, não tem tempo para fazer as coisas e é muito confuso, e por esses dois fatores minha nota é 8 pq de    MINHA OPINIÃO

    Overall this is not a game for everyone, I took a while to give this rating as I had to step back and analyze this game for what it’s targeted audience is and was. They kept this as a side scroller style which is a nostalgia factor combined with clean simple comedy makes this a game targeted for the family. 3 person co-op is definitely fun, and the game is most definitely    Simple fun.

    As an adult this game was overly too simple for me, but challenging on higher difficulties. The best part of the game was the Galactica like mini games. I would enjoy a game of just that. Only actual issue with the technical aspects of the game is fighting enemy’s who are just one level on the floor per say that you have to readjust to attack when you may of believed you were in the correct location. Artwork is really well done, looked great in 4K on an OLED with the clean colors. This game really didn’t need HDR though.

    The story is fairly simple and I’ll leave at that not to spoil anything.

    Overall this is a great game for your under 14 yr olds and their friends and playing with your child. Don’t sleep on this game, and no Gamepass doesn’t diminish what this game is, it just makes it more accessible to more people.    … Expand

    The game is fun and can be challenging. I love the Saturday morning cartoon vibe and the new mini-games added to diversify the gameplay. It is not just a beat em up which makes it a surprisingly great game.

А если подумать... ну была классная игруха на сеге, отличная боевка, ураганный геймплей, дикие покатушки на байках, хардовые боссы. Но жабы были на одно лицо, отличался только раш, потому, что он был в очках и все за него шпилили. А набор приемов у всех был одинаков. Здесь жеМне игруха зашла. Да, может большинство в них шуток тупые, но есть и те от которых вскрикиваешь в голосину. И музон улётный под такие замесы. Да, порой экран перегружен большим количеством врагов, которые ещё и пуляют чем-то, но если просек боевку, то на дешах и притягивании языком вообще в течении боя можно не коснуться пола за какого-нить Зитца( да, он мой любимчик). Так что по мне, игра самый крутой бит эм ап за последний год, Streets of rage 4 на фоне жаб смотрится уныло и скудно, хотя мне игра тоже понравилась и всколыхнула приступ ностальгии. Но жаб ИМХО хейтят необоснованно. Единственный огромный минус - это отсутствие мультиплеера и наличие командных ачивментов, все остальное сделано на уровне и заслуживает свои честные 7 баллов.… Expand

    Juggling genres is the series’ trademark and the latest game offers much larger variety in that aspect than any of its predecessor. Most of the genres were tackled well enough, but not all ideas are spot-on and almost every part of the game could be improved. It is the best Battletoads game to date though and it would’ve scored higher if it wasn’t for one frustrating and infuriating section towards the end of the campaign. [11/2020, p.55]
