    Divertidisimo, alterna varias modalidades diferentes de juego, mantiene su humor y es altamente rejugable. Lastima que no traiga subtítulos en español.

    En lo jugable, el título hace más o menos lo que ya hacía la primera entrega de la saga. Esto es un desarrollo en fases que presentan varias mecánicas. La principal y más famosa es la de beat ‘em up clásico, pero tiene muchas más en forma de carreras de motos en las que hay que esquivar los obstáculos (mítica y difícil fase heredada del clásico), fases de shoot ‘em up de naves estilo twin stick shooter, fases de plataformas en 2d con resolución del puzzles y una colección de fases de minijuegos con QTE, rítmicos, puzzles de diversa índole, etc. en definitiva, siempre pareces estar haciendo cosas distintas. Esto puede no atraer a los fans de beat ‘em up, pero en honor a la verdad, Battletoads siempre fue un poco así, nunca fue un beat ‘em up puro.

    Por otra parte está la historia que se nos presenta como un episodio de dibujos animados que bien podría haber aparecido en Cartoon Network. No es un material que vaya a pasar a la historia, pero sirve de hilo conductor al juego y te echas alguna que otra risa con sus locuras.

    En definitiva, es un juego recomendable si eres un gamer veterano y te gustan estos lavados de cara de juegos clásicos. Battletoads cumple con lo que promete y es bastante fiel al material original. Divertido. Esta en game pass, por lo que no hay excusa para probarlo.    … Expand

    Sometimes, when a console is not doing great in terms of sales, most people throw s*ht to anything released on that system.

    This was the case with games like this Battletoads, which is completely enjoyable, it keeps the pace of the original IP and tons of humor. The only thing I agree, is villians suffered from its new design, some look lame.     Un gioco piacevole, da provare con un amico con più controller e il divertimento è assicurato. Scene da cartone animato satirico molto divertenti. Vari livelli con caratteristiche di giochi diversi. Consigliato per divertirsi in famiglia. Ci vorrebbero più giochi così, solo per giocare in compagnia ma senza l'online, con uno schermo solo e più controller.

    Super Couch-Koop-Brawler mit vielen flachen (aber geilen) Witzen. Grafik sehr schön und läuft flüssig. Zwischendrin ein paar Gameplayeigenheiten, die zwar spielerisch nicht anspruchsvoll sind, aber witzig integriert wurden. Schwierigkeitsgrad ist knackig, aber nicht unfair

    Hard game, yes. But at least the graphics give it a cool Saturday Morning Cartoon vibe from the '90s. I've heard of a pilot episode of the same title from 1992, but I haven't seen that yet. To the production companies that make cartoons, make Battletoads the Animated Series happen!

    Very good game for couch co-op. A lot of fun and very diverse each level providing very challenging fun. It is difficult but at the same time rewarding. Had a lot of fun with a buddy of mine. Never played alone and dont think I would. The Only bad thing is lack of online play.

    this is my first time playing Battletoads and I played Local co-op with my wife. I don't think we've had more fun than this besides overcooked. There were so many laughs and the game was so fun to play. This is basically old school Ninja Turtles games from the SNES era and now it's in 4k. not sure what people were looking for but we came in looking for a TMNT type of game from the SNESthis is my first time playing Battletoads and I played Local co-op with my wife. I don't think we've had more fun than this besides overcooked. There were so many laughs and the game was so fun to play.     The game is simply fun. A reimagining of battle toads that sets the Toads apart in terms of personality and visual flair, and how they feel to play. Lot of complaints about the art style which is sleek and works well for the games tone. Lots of fun animations. If your biggest complaint is you're no longer attracted to the dark queen, maybe reevaluate what you want from a beat em up.

    The amount of fun you can have here really depends on how you want to spend your time with Battletoads. Sure, you probably will get disappointed if you want the same amount of difficulty that was present in previous entries, but this game does not really want to be that same kind of game that it used to, and it shouldn't be treated like one just because it shares the name.

    Instead, we get a great party title, one that offers a lot of variety and greatly capitalises on the fact that three different people are playing it. It is a good mixture of a game and a TV series with it's splendid art direction and entertaining cut scenes, and it offered me one of the best party game experiences I've ever had.
    But of course, it still has its downsides, like a lack of online multiplayer or having not too much to offer in terms of solo-play. I also wish some of the game modes weren't recycled so frequently and the humour wasn't as unbalanced as it was (though some of the scenes were truly hilarious), so let's cross fingers for improvements on those in, as they prompted, season 2 (whatever that should mean).    … Expand

    I wasn't expecting this game to be this funny. Humor is on point, gameplay is pretty good, story is simple but interesting and the characters are really charismatic. I'm someone who prefers dark and complex stories over humorous silly ones, but this was amazing.

    Battletoads is a really fun game, but the game has some problems, the mini-games are sometimes confusing, boring and generic or the game is short, but the game has good visuals, music, and is really fun when you play multiplayer.

    It's a good time with friends and family, downside no online play as of now, not enough beat em up levels, but it makes up for it by being sometimes a short cartoon show here and there, that's actually well voice acted and funny. It's still a game and a good one at that, with good art style and animation.

    Para mim foi difícil em certas fases, mas não impossível, entretanto Battletoads é bem curto, fico ansioso para novas expansões futuramente. Muito divertido, o jogo tem seu humor. Final da fase é bem mais fácil que certas partes do jogo, isso é estranho. Jogabilidade fluida, da até uma satisfação de ver. Joguei sozinho com o controle quebrado, definitivamente não estava preparado.

    Great variety in the gameplay. It bounces between genres very often. The downside to this is that everyone will likely encounter a portion that they do not care for as much as the others.     Мне 33 года, и я фанат серии ещё с денди. Для меня это супер игра, прошёл на Максимальной сложности - это было реально сложно! Побольше бы таких игр, в которых невозможно заскучать. Жаль нет онлайн кооператива.

    Battletoads foi a melhor coisa que a Rare poderia fazer por mim, o jogo é maravilhoso em vários aspectos, e sim está muito bonito!

While the ability for online coop would be great, it is nice to be able to play this while hanging out with friends and fam. I enjoyed some of the different genre features, others were cumbersome.     Battletoads (2020) is a great game. I was a huge fan as a kid playing the original and at first was very unhappy about the art style. However, most of the zeroes I see are people that can not have possibly played the game. It is a fairly true sequel I mean the driving scenes are still crazy hard. All I can say is the co-op is a blast and it can get hard sometimes but the instant spawn toBattletoads (2020) is a great game. I was a huge fan as a kid playing the original and at first was very unhappy about the art style. However, most of the zeroes I see are people that can not have possibly played the game.     I don't like the new art-style. Old Toads are more brutal and I like it more.
    But beat 'em up gameplay is pretty nice.

    It's a really fun game, full of jokes and different styles of gameplay, all levels are fun and different. The bad reviews on the game are made by boomers or snowflakes not able to cope with 2020's world or the jokes in the game.

    Gostei muito do jogo, gráfico interessante, uma boa mecânica de luta, historia legal, grande variedade de cenários, humor um pouco tosco e uma trilha sonora espetacular. Realmente um jogo divertido. Pena, que muitos querem manchar a imagem do novo BATTLETOADS.

    This game is AWESOME. Very funny, kinda difficult sometimes, but the checkpoints help you a lot. First, I was a little disappointed with the art style, like many. But, after 5 minutes playing, you will change your mind. This is how a video game should be, FUN to play.

    I’m not much for beat em up style game but this is so much fun. I did not expect myself to like this game but to my surprise I found myself beating the game. Everything about this game is great. Only reason I’m not putting 10 is because it was a little short for my liking but in the end everyone should try this game. If you have family try this game with them as well.

    Es una experiencia fresca y a la vez nostalgica, los diseños son buenos, la musica es exelente y la dificultad decente sin caer en lo facil y exagerado del titulo de nes, recomiendo jugar antes de dejarse llevar por las criticas de esta página pero a opinio personal es muy buen juego

    Great update of the series with a good sense of humor, self parody and in terms of gameplay a good beat 'em up. I hated the art style when the game was revealed, but after playing it I loved it. Music is great.

Да, может большинство в них шуток тупые, но есть и те от которых вскрикиваешь в голосину. И музон улётный под такие замесы. Да, порой экран перегружен большим количеством врагов, которые ещё и пуляют чем-то, но если просек боевку, то на дешах и притягивании языком вообще в течении боя можно не коснуться пола за какого-нить Зитца( да, он мой любимчик). Так что по мне, игра самый крутой бит эм ап за последний год, Streets of rage 4 на фоне жаб смотрится уныло и скудно, хотя мне игра тоже понравилась и всколыхнула приступ ностальгии. Но жаб ИМХО хейтят необоснованно. Единственный огромный минус - это отсутствие мультиплеера и наличие командных ачивментов, все остальное сделано на уровне и заслуживает свои честные 7 баллов.… Expand

    I absolutely LOVED this game. The art style and animation is top notch, the cut scenes and writing are hilarious, and the variety of the game modes that you keep switching between are refreshing. I binge played this thing just to finish it and see all the cut scenes. The controls are spot on as well, though it is much easier than the old NES game.

    Interesting remake, bright colors, fun action. Those people who put zero should have their heads checked for lice and cockroaches. And Rare, I suggest not to stop there - I'm waiting for the DLC.

    Fantastic game. Love that it’s hand drawn. Surprisingly VERY funny. A great game you can play to relax and got lost in this fun new world. What a way to come back after all these years. Highly recommend.

    Yo a este juego le doy un 8.5, los gráficos son excelentes, a veces la movilidad se siente un poco torpe pero te acostumbras después de un rato, en el gameplay es muy divertido y me gusta que no es un juego totalmente fácil, pero tampoco es el battletoads    Me parece un juego impresionante, no de 10 pero pongo 10 por los sonyers locos que se la pasan criticando juegos que no han jugado...

    To be honest. This game in coop is a 10/10. Grab a gamepass code or 20 bucks and you will have a lot of fun. It was amazing! Realy!

    Overall this is not a game for everyone, I took a while to give this rating as I had to step back and analyze this game for what it’s targeted audience is and was. They kept this as a side scroller style which is a nostalgia factor combined with clean simple comedy makes this a game targeted for the family. 3 person co-op is definitely fun, and the game is most definitely    Simple fun.

    As an adult this game was overly too simple for me, but challenging on higher difficulties. The best part of the game was the Galactica like mini games. I would enjoy a game of just that. Only actual issue with the technical aspects of the game is fighting enemy’s who are just one level on the floor per say that you have to readjust to attack when you may of believed you were in the correct location. Artwork is really well done, looked great in 4K on an OLED with the clean colors. This game really didn’t need HDR though.

    The story is fairly simple and I’ll leave at that not to spoil anything.

    Overall this is a great game for your under 14 yr olds and their friends and playing with your child. Don’t sleep on this game, and no Gamepass doesn’t diminish what this game is, it just makes it more accessible to more people.    … Expand

There was everything I do remmember and much more, giving more dynamic to a very classic gameplay. We beat the game between 4-5 hrs, so, this is a family or friends game; a lot of lone-gamers will pass the game lossing the 75% of the fun.Great old-school fun with friends in the couch sharing the same screen.     Have been really enjoying this one via Gamepass. The gameplay is satisfying with just the right amount of challenge. I like the characters and the humor, kind of has a kids TV show vibe, lots of fourth wall breaks and funny jokes.

    Juggling genres is the series’ trademark and the latest game offers much larger variety in that aspect than any of its predecessor. Most of the genres were tackled well enough, but not all ideas are spot-on and almost every part of the game could be improved. It is the best Battletoads game to date though and it would’ve scored higher if it wasn’t for one frustrating and infuriating section towards the end of the campaign. [11/2020, p.55]
