I cannot even begin to fathom the level of ineptitude that must be required to write the episodes of Batman: The Telltale Series. Now where episodes 1 and 2 were borderline average in my opinion from both a game-play and story perspective, episode 3 is an entirely new level of awful as you play as the world most special detective, Batman who at this current moment wouldn't be able to tellI cannot even begin to fathom the level of ineptitude that must be required to write the episodes of Batman: The Telltale Series. Now where episodes 1 and 2 were borderline average in my opinion from both a game-play and story perspective, episode 3 is an entirely new level of awful as you play as the world most special detective, Batman who at this current moment wouldn't be able to tell who farted in the elevator if it were just him and another person inside.

Now starting of with the game-play, nothing much has changed from the earlier episodes with the same assortment of bugs and glitches freezing the action sequences and with random character models spawning sometimes spoiling what is going to happen in the main story. However with this episode alot of the bugs are more consistent with more NPC's being spawned, bringing the game at a halt with a measly 10fps ruining the already weak experience with choppy action and choice boxes that pop up with the timer half depleted.

Now we move onto the even weaker element, the story. Now to say that this series takes liberties with it's characters is an absolute understatement with character's backstories being re-written to the verge of which they essentially match one character more than the one within the story e.g the penguin and hush. In addition to this Batman has to be mentally retarded and I do not say that lightly as some of the scripted choices he makes are absolutely banal and thoughtless in his attempts to find out that 2+2=4, i mean i could see things from a mile away that were going to happen all the while batman is off doing something that is either boring or unnecessary to the plot. On a final note this games cliffhanger will serve as a massive F-you to fans of Batman as telltale unloades the next wave of **** onto this already awful series.

Overall batman the telltale series episode 3 is definitely not worth the time

Batman: The Telltale Series- Episode 3: New World Order is a weaker episode than the second. The story is still good, but there are not any standout moments like the end of last last.

Telltale Batman keeps getting better with every episode. The choices you can make give the game it's power. The fighting scenes are good, though some more freedom is something that can be implemented.

New World Order doesn't completely torpedo 'Batman' but it's by far the weakest we've seen yet. Sometimes I feel like I'm less Bruce Wayne and more of a boring CEO with a soap opera love life. There are still two episodes remaining and I hope the best is yet to come.

"New World Order" is a slower episode that promises a lot of worthwhile story moments soon, but fails to provide many of its own. Character interactions are the best that they've been so far, but everything else is missing the drama that it needs to deliver a worthwhile standalone episode.
