    One has to wonder why Back 4 Blood even bothers having solo play as an option when players are left severely handicapped with unreliable AI partners that get stuck in place, disabled achievements and unsaved progression. Even when playing online, added elements like perk and corruption cards makes the game heavily unbalanced when it doesn't need to be. I understand it's not supposed to be the same as "Left 4 Dead", but these are the same creators who had the intention on delivering a spiritual successor, so it needs to live up to their legacy. This does not. Don't even get me started on the insultingly unfair difficulty, or the new survivor vs. monster PvP. It's all just a mess right now.… Expand

    possibly my fault for not noticing that i have to pay for a subscription to play the game, but i’m beyond unhappy that they make you pay for the game up front ON TOP forcing you to pay an additional subscription. one or the other, both is corporate greed is taking over here and i’ll eat my loss on buying the game, but i won’t pay for the subscription. if this cra$ becomes standardpossibly my fault for not noticing that i have to pay for a subscription to play the game, but i’m beyond unhappy that they make you pay for the game up front ON TOP forcing you to pay an additional subscription. one or the other, both is corporate greed is taking over here and i’ll eat my loss on buying the game, but i won’t pay for the subscription. if this cra$ becomes standard practice i’ll just dump the xbox before letting the greedy overlords suck every penny out.… Expand

    This is for taking the single player game away (or if there is still one, I will never know since you dont let me start the game). Now for the small money you made by your gain from helping microsoft sell live gold membership, let me help equalize it by preventing few people from paying you 60 bucks ;)

    Being as this is a spiritual successor to Left 4 Dead, the fact that they left out split screen, which is basically the only way I played Left 4 Dead, has ruined this before I even played it. Then they took progression away for single player. If you didn't want people to play solo or with friends at home why did you not make it online only.

    Impossible challenge doesn’t equal difficulty.

    Back 4 Blood in my experience has been mostly agonizing more than fun, even on the easiest difficulty i’ve seen teams get erased in one simple horde, as every 20 seconds you’ll get bombarded by special infected that can kill you in seconds, while the gameplay and gunplay itself is super fun with modding guns and being able to choose and    Impossible challenge doesn’t equal difficulty.

    Back 4 Blood in my experience has been mostly agonizing more than fun, even on the easiest difficulty i’ve seen teams get erased in one simple horde, as every 20 seconds you’ll get bombarded by special infected that can kill you in seconds, while the gameplay and gunplay itself is super fun with modding guns and being able to choose and progress certain builds it all gets ruined by the fact the game makes things way too unbalanced and difficult, the only way i’ve kept a consistent playthrough is just with the bot players with their inhuman reaction time, as of right now the pacing is way too difficult as the game tosses horde after horde at you on top of the special infected at every corner, it makes the game such a stress filled mess to slog through as you die over and over. I hope soon they can slow the pace down to give people a more fair challenge.    … Expand

    This game is trash. I spent hundreds of hours playing both its predecessors and this game doesn't even compare to those. So many unnecessary features were added like cards, two currency systems, glowing weak spots on enemies, incredibly cheap enemies, gun stats, etc yet the developers chose not to include two game modes that people want which are campaign versus and local co op.     Guys it’s a good game, just not earth shaking. I usually only play solo & right now I’m halfway through, not one single achievement has popped, which is sadly a design flaw in my opinion. Most of the goodies are for co-op, which sucks. I invested hundreds of hours in Left 4 Dead solo & still bring it out on occasion. I don’t see myself doing this for B4B unless solo campaign gets more loveGuys it’s a good game, just not earth shaking.     As a spiritual successor for Left 4 Dead, Back 4 Blood is great to pick up with a few friends by your side, no matter on what platform they play - at least for a night or two. Although it´s gameplay is really fun besides some annoying bugs and horrid soloplay, the game fails to offer enough endgame-content to motivate much further than for it´s six to ten hour long campaign.

    Questo non è Left 4 Dead 3, ma bensì una grossa evoluzione del genere tipo Left 4 Dead con il doppio di rigiocabilità e contenuti, il pass annuale è anche un must per me!

    Doppiaggio convincente per ogni personaggio (cosa non esistente su L4D, in Italiano ovviamente), varietà di personalizzazione sia di armi e accessori ma anche di skin personaggi ecc..     So all in all, it may not be Left 4 Dead and while there are things missing, in the end however, Back 4 Blood is a very good game that is worth the time to play and recommend.

    Very fun game! Different from Left 4 Dead but still the same kinda feel. A huge range of Ridden to kill and definitely lots of guns. Definitely would enjoy more variety in the future, like cosmetics, guns, skins, more levels, more cleaners. Other than that, an excellent game

    This is basically Left 4 Dead 3. Everything is on point from the controls to the stages in the campaign. Beautiful game by the way. Only bad thing so far are the glitches (which happens) and the whole solo campaign craziness lol. Other than that, I'm having fun.

I've been having a lot of fun with it, and it is honestly one of the best games I've played this year when it comes to multiplayer and challenging gameplay. That said, there are a few things that kept me from giving it a 10/10 review: Bots can be pretty damn dumb a lot of times, and at the same time unhumanly efficient. I've been having a lot of fun with it, and it is honestly one of the best games I've played this year when it comes to multiplayer and challenging gameplay. That said, there are a few things that kept me from giving it a 10/10 review: Bots can be pretty damn dumb a lot of times, and at the same time unhumanly efficient. Both things can take away some of the fun of the game, and the immersion factor also gets jeopardized. Also, finding teammates can take a VERY long time, and then the game just automatically puts me with bots. Which, again, are far from being fun to play with. The last thing that bummed me a little bit, is that the difficulty is awfully unbalanced and often unclear. Really hope the devs take a look at this thing soon, as I'm sure the game will be a lot more fun and have a longer "life".… Expand

    This is pretty much "Left 4 Dead 3". The card system is the biggest addition and it's a substantial feature. Sadly, split-screen co-op is a thing of the past. Also, the difficulty is too hard for solo plays. I can't say much about the competitive mode. But the campaign is a lot of fun when you're playing with three other friends.     Was hoping this would be a fun co op game however its just not all that interesting. No versus gamemode and as such it just gets old fast.

    The difficulty is also bizzare in that it gets harder and harder the more people you play with which if anything makes wanting to chill out with friends pointless.     Very good coop horde shooter,but only 1 campaign makes me sad :'(
    Also the inability to pause the game while playing OFFLINE is stupid

    Gra wygląda ładnie ma fajny system strzelania i upgrade'u ale większość gry toczy się w małych zamknięTych przestrzeniach wolałbym trochę więcej swobody

    many hours of fun. Very clever card system depending of player playing style Reliability. But needs more variety in levels.

    With Back 4 Blood, Turtle Rock Studios returns in a great way to the genre they helped create, although it has some flaws that can affect the experience.
