Mar 1, 2016Standalone DLC, I'm not sure if this is clever or lazy? This is really fun and immersive... I agree with other reviews, Jack should not be part of the Templars or the Assassins, it seems unnecessary. Playing as Jack is very fun, and he is quite horrific.

Jun 17, 2016Assassin's Creed Syndicate: Jack the Ripper was so exciting to play. Playing as Jack was so terrifying, yet also quite exciting. It was also nice to see Evie take the spotlight.

Jan 23, 2016Awesome AC DLC. Too bad I was not able to play it out as Jack all the way through. However, you are getting new weapons, few new systems introduced and art direction is slightly changed. Highly recommended!

Jul 17, 2022An incohesive addition to an incohesive game. This time around AC tries to cosplay Batman games and fails at that. Also, this one is as glitchy as the full AC Syndicate. One of the achievement got stuck for me at 98% for no reason.

Official Xbox Magazine UKFeb 16, 2016A genuinely atmospheric and often disturbing yarn that Ripper and Creed fans shouldn't miss. [Feb 2016, p.88]

Jan 7, 2016My only proper complaint would have to be the the expansion offers not enough weapon variety so you can't take out enemies in different ways. That's a shame. Other than that, I absolutely loved it.

Jan 7, 2016Striking fear into Evie’s enemies may be a bit overpowered, and Jack may not be the formidable bad guy we hoped he would be, but this DLC is still a fun adventure that serves as a nice excuse to return to Assassin’s Creed’s take on Victorian-Era London.
