    Can't understand the hype. It is not bad, but it is one of the worst Assassin's Creed games ever released. Sure, you got ships, but you get that in Rogue too, which is much better. Overall rating: 5.9.

    The story is average at best, created in a true Ubisoft spirit. The graphics and the sound are good for an initial xbox 360 / PS3 title. The gameplay is quite good, with some more work needed related to the melee combat. All in all, it could have been a far better game if it was created by another company and not by Ubisoft which in her effort to deliver a game to liked by everybody, endsThe story is average at best, created in a true Ubisoft spirit.     The games level of freedom is incredible, although the game is fairly easy but is still incredibly fun. The graphics are a bit dated but the world still looks beautiful. The story and sheer quantity of side content are both incredible. The game is well over 50 hours and has never gets to grindy.     AC: Black Flag is the definitive pirate gaming experience, giving the player the opportunity to really feel the exciment of sailing and living as a vintage pirate. Even though there are some bugs in the action-parkour gameplay, this is definitely a great game for any player who enjoys to collect and to explore.

    História incrível, dublagem horrorosa em pt-br, combate épico, a gameplay e o combate no gralha são bons, porém o parkour é meio bugado, nosso personagem sobe em tudo que que está perto, e isso nos deixa com raiva por um momento. O mapa é ENORME e com muitas atividades secundárias. O jogo é realmente muito bom.

    I really liked the game. But my grade is 7.
    Why 7? After a long pause I had to get used to the controls again. The character doesn't always run or climb where you want. Graphics on XBox One is not very good.
    Now about good:
    Big world
    Beautiful sea battles
    The story is also very interesting

    This is pretty good game mostly for the pirate parts which are really fun and really the worst parts are when you have to do the typical assassins creed crap but don't be discouraged and give this one a try.

    This was the first Assassin's Creed game that I've played and what made me fall in love with the series. I've loved every aspect of it, from gameplay to story. This is how a game should be, this is the true synonymous of gaming. I will never forget this fantastic experience.

    Amazing open world game. Amazzing graphics, fun gameplay, and being a pirate a lot like jack sparrow is fun. Exploration, battles, ships, beautiful carribean waters, amazing sunsets and whales jumping. Onlines fun too, sneaking around multiplayer.

    Este assasins es el mas repetitivo que he jugado en tanto a misiones , la historia muy aburrida y enredada, las mismas gráficas de siempre, es un juego solo recomendado para fans de los asesinos.

    En outre le jeu est magnifique (limité au 900p et victime d'un pop-up de PNJ certes) et toujours fluide. On en prend plein les yeux... C'est aussi assez réaliste avec la météo dynamique, les tempêtes et vagues scélérates, le brouillard...

    On doit tout de même déplorer l'IA à la rue, compensée par le nombre mais vraiment trop conne et surtout le scénario dont la nullité atteint ici les tréfonds des abysses. C'est tellement chiant et incohérent qu'on zappe toutes les cinématiques systématiquement, encore pire qu'AC3 à cet égard. A la musique quelconque pour ne pas dire décevante, on préférera les chants des marins tandis que le doublage québécois réalisé par le studio "Game On Audio" (comme pour AC3) est particulièrement mauvais. Même le doublage anglais laisse à désirer à dire vrai...

    Un monde ouvert plutôt séduisant donc, des combats navals bien fichus... mais qui prennent une part un peu trop importante : j'ai pas le pied marin et le tangage me file la gerbe... alors que les combats à terre restent toujours perfectibles. Cet Assassin's Creed abuse en outre de la répétition et d'un brin de farmage aussi bien pour améliorer le rafiot que pour nous faire ramasser toutes les merdes inutiles qui traînent sur toute la carte... En tout cas, si Connor avait l'intelligence d'un beignet, Kenway a le charisme d'une andouille. Rendez-nous Ezio...!    … Expand

If you know what to upgrade then there is no problem to beat level 60 ship in sequence 2. AlsoThe world is there really beautiful I like it. Then there is fleet which is great when you have 15 man o'wars. 2. on foot: If you aren't on ship then the game isn't so good. I really don't like that story. Assassins are there some mayans or what. I don't even like that I become an assassin. I just wanted to be a pirate. This shouldn't have been Assassin's Creed game but maybe Pirate's Creed it would be way better without assassins. There are ugly outfits I hate them all I bought legend outfit from uplay that isn't so bad. I also don't like when you have to stop sailing just because there is one chest or fragment on small island. Diving is also bad. At the end if I'm on ship I enjoying it and if I'm not then I don't.… Expand

    To start off I never came close to finishing this game simply because I am utterly useless at the naval combat, which in the end is the main reason I stopped playing it.
    However my poor naval combat skills aside, the game is quite fun. It looks beautiful, has a decent story and runs smoothly.

    I will attempt this game in the future again.

    De todos los Assasin´s creed mi favorito,graficos excelentes y una historia buena aunque pudo ser mejor,el multijugador no me gusto es regular,recomendable para pasar un muy buen momento jugando.

    Mundo aberto com variedade de ambientes para explorar. Boa jogabilidade e protagonista carismático. Sem duvida um dos melhores jogos com a temática pirata de todos os tempos.

    Let me say that after AC3 I gave up on the series. While AC3 was not a bad game it had an awful protagonist, and lackluster campaign, and I mean Connor's. I enjoyed playing as Desmond in the present time, and wished we could just get a game with present day assassins and not just random ancestors from Desmond.
    But where I was surprised was in the direction they went. Having you be an    Let me say that after AC3 I gave up on the series.     But where I was surprised was in the direction they went. Having you be an employee of Abstergo's new program where you watch the lives of several assassins for "entertainment" purposes.
    And I must say the only reason i played this game was because it was free on XO, and I greatly enjoyed it. The ship battles are amazing and addictive. You just want to go around blasting ships and getting resources to upgrade the Jackdaw. Great story and lovable characters. Huge game with thons of collectives.

    hi i know this review is very late but anyway i like this game its very good but can get very repetitive and boring by the end but the ship game play is what makes this game good buy if you like ship combat, history and assassin's creed but i don't have many things to say that are bad. its a good game overall.

    would buy :)

    Fantastic game, have loved it from beginning to end. The combat both melee and ship is excellent, typical AC leaping, running and jumping.

    Ran great on the xbone so no complaints there, and the companion app worked well, i liked being able to manage my fleet with that while still playing missions    … Expand

    Black Flag is a great Assassin's Creed experience. I completed a fairly thorough playthrough of the game and ended up with a lot of pirate hymns stuck in my head. I can't say a whole lot as I'm rating the game quite a bit after the fact, but I certainly enjoyed it and put a lot of time into it. Some people might get lost in the crazy, convoluted overarching story from the games and beBlack Flag is a great Assassin's Creed experience.     This game's a solid 8. The graphics are decent, particularly for it being among the first games released on the next gen consoles. The music and sound is pretty good, too. The voice acting was great, particularly when compared to more recent AAA titles such as, Fallout 4, where the voice acting is an absolute joke.

    The naval battles in which you participate are top-notch. The combat system they employed in that regard works really well, and it's overall a highly entertaining aspect of the game. The AC assassin mechanics are like past games. The land-based combat and movement is still basically Super Mario Brothers. You jump around from house to house, occasionally jumping down upon a victim from on-high. Once you obtain the "berserker" darts, the game becomes extremely easy. Of course, you're not forced to use them, but you probably will. "Berserker" darts are fired from what's essentially a silenced pistol and gravity doesn't alter their path - just aim and fire. The struck victim essentially goes insane (or berzerk) and starts killing his comrades. Generally, they'll kill him before he does too much damage, but you can carry 15 of these things. Also, if no one kills the "berzerk" victim, he'll die after a minute or so on his own. So you can imagine how these darts make the game pretty easy.

    The towns look nice, but you can't go into any of the houses, so like I said - it's like Super Mario Brothers. The plot's decent, I suppose. The ending was kinda abrupt. All in all, though, I'd recommend this game, particularly to an AC fan.    … Expand

Minus: controls should be more customisable (run and climb same button annoyingly), a bit repetitive AI, almost too easy, especially fight scenes. Was a fan from the beginning, but faded.     Can not stand being ripped out of the past to the future. It is so distracting and unnecessary. Ship combat is cool, but the story, and the repetitive stalking missions are so boring.

    I've played all of the major titles released with the Xbox One, and the one that I've had the most fun with, the one that I keep going back to, is Assassin's Creed IV: Black Flag. If you get only one game with your shiny new Xbox One console, make it this one.
