    Area 86 is a physics puzzle game. Realistically, do I even need to go into more detail than that? It’s a game where you have to try and fight against a physics engine to get to the end. Just like every other physics puzzler out there. Play as a robot that can move at decent speeds and jump around doing parkour tricks. Use the laws of physics to interact with the environment by pushing,Area 86 is a physics puzzle game. Realistically, do I even need to go into more detail than that? It’s a game where you have to try and fight against a physics engine to get to the end. Just like every other physics puzzler out there. Play as a robot that can move at decent speeds and jump around doing parkour tricks. Use the laws of physics to interact with the environment by pushing, activating, destroying and picking items up. Find secret items, look for clues, and escape entered rooms.Puzzles in games can be a tricky business to balance and can become very stale very quickly if the same type of puzzle is repeated over and over again. In writing our Area 86 review we took note of the variety of puzzles that players have to solve and observed whether they become boring and predictable.
    Based on our experience you can expect around five hours of playtime for the average player adding a few hours to that for completionists on this one. With It's a small price of admission and worth you time on your Xbox One so give it a go!    … Expand

    Area 86 has some neat ideas and puzzle layouts, and its escape room premise is a good one. The awkward camera placement and sometimes finicky nature of the physics though mean that what should be a simple solution can end up frustratingly failing through no fault of our own. It’s worth a look, but don’t expect it to last you more than an evening’s play.

    To put it plainly, Area 86 on Xbox One is a brilliant game. The fact that this is SimDevs’ first outing perhaps makes that conclusion even more remarkable. It’s a laid-back experience that gives players the freedom to think outside of the box, and indeed rewards them for it.
