    Arcade Game Series: Pac-Man is the best home version of the original Pac-Man arcade game yet. Whether or not the new features warrant an upgrade from the Xbox 360 version depends entirely on your devotion to this Pac-Man game and whether or not you care about Achievements. If you do like both Pac-Man and Achievements, this release is a no-brainer.

    Pac-man is unplayable on xbox one. It does not change directions when told to. Also the munchers return to blue color way faster than thePac-man is unplayable on xbox one. It does not change directions when told to. Also the munchers return to blue color way faster than the original version. I could live with that but not the first issue. There seems no way to rate these games and no way to get support or even a forum. Refunds should be OK for unplayable games. If anyone reading this finds turning corners works I would like to know what technique they use as mine is unresponsive at critical times. Does it have something to do with trying to turn ahead of time? I played the original pa-man for many years when younger and I know these issues as fact. I do remember when the owners of the machines wanted to make more money they could turn the machine settings to make it spawn quicker like this xbox version of the game, but I would not play the machines that were set that way.
    Also when purchasing pac-man and galaga separately there should be the option to get dig dug free as it is possible and happened to me where the 3 for 2 deal was not seen.    … Full Review »

    If you wan the original Pac Man for your XB1 this is the game for you.

    Original game. With all it's glitches and glory.

    Leaderboards. There is world wide, personal or friends, you can choose to show. It also saves your high score locally, even showing your initials (locally), like in the arcade. It's shows your gamer tag world wide.

    Reasonably priced at $3.99, but it's a better deal to get Pac Man, Galaga, and Dig Dug in the 3 in 1 for $7.99. You have to get Ms. Pac Man separately though. Still it's good Pac Man has a stand alone option.

    Cons...

    A little slow loading, but faster than backwards 360 version. I wish there was a 2 player hot seat/take turns mode. I also wish it had a full screen mode, but as it is it can be set large enough for most to enjoy, it's survivable. Some will actually prefer seeing the arcade art on the sides as they play.    … Full Review »
