I really enjoyed the presentation side of the game because for me both the visuals and sound design did a good job of combining with the gameplay. The idea of being able to be a villain or an agent is a good one and I’m pleased to say that this idea makes the game unique and fun for large parts. There is a great deal of variety present in the levels and when you combine that with the variety of traps that are available things stay fresh for quite a while. I found the gameplay on the whole to be smooth with very few problems and I must admit that I was especially impressed with the platforming elements. It isn’t a necessity it would’ve been nice if there was a single player offering included in the game. It can be a little too chaotic at times and sometimes this makes following the action a bit difficult. For me the game is a little bit overpriced and this may put some people off. Sometimes I get a sudden urge to play a game that requires a number of people to sit together and play in the same room because it reminds me of all the fond memories I had when playing game’s as a child. Agents vs Villain is a game that tries to capture and deliver these fond memories back to you and thankfully on the whole it’s a pretty fun and enjoyable experience. It’s not only fun and enjoyable as well because it offers you the rare idea of being able to play a villain and this does make the game stand out quite considerably. Another thing that makes the game stand out is the variety that’s dotted throughout its content. This variety keeps things fresh and interesting for quite a while so expect to return back to the game time and time again. This however doesn’t mean the game has a ton of content and with no single-player offering available I do think the game is a little bit overpriced for what you get. That being said when it comes to problems the game doesn’t have too many at all and when it’s all said and done it does what it sets out to do and that is provide you and your friends with a fun and enjoyable experience. If you’re after a new local multiplayer game for the family to enjoy then Agents vs Villain on Xbox One certainly isn’t a bad choice. It won’t leave you stuffed with new content, but should you just wish to get on with the fun that’s available then there is no reason not to return to this one from time to time.

Agents vs Villain is a decent game that offers a lot of competitive fun. Its cartoonish design, together with its simplistic controls and its core accessibility, makes it a fitting title for players of all ages. There’s no denying that it’s a relatively bare experience as far as its content depth is concerned, but that said, it does very well with the little that it has.
