Let me start with how beautiful AOW: Planetfall is, from the main map to the combat areas, the units and terrain are phenomenal! The detail in place is a show of the love that went into makingAge of Wonders: Planetfall is a blend of Real Time Strategy, and Tactics Combat in a turn based setting. Let me start with how beautiful AOW: Planetfall is, from the main map to the combat areas, the units and terrain are phenomenal! The detail in place is a show of the love that went into making this game. Expand your grasp on the regions, and annex new structures and areas to grow your foothold on the planet. Research new technologies and economical advances across an impressive tree. Face off against 5 other players or take on the campaign in a Co-Op game with online multiplayer. Was massive wars across the face of many different planets and prove your hold on them in multiple different Multiplayer modes. The system in place can feel overwhelming, even complicated to some newcomers to the game style, but practice and playing the campaign, with or without friends will greatly help you to understand the game play so don't give up! AoW may have out done themselves with this installment to the series! With a good story and intense and immersive play Age of Wonders: Planetfall is a must have for anyone who enjoys a good Real Time Strategy, or Tactics game, as it illustrates the best of both worlds! Revelations introduces the ancient Heritor Secret Technology, new campaign missions, location mechanics and more.     If Revelations on Xbox One is a sign of what is to come then this game will be in safe hands. Understanding what needed to be revised in the original, this expansion helps flesh out the lore and gameplay of Age of Wonders: Planetfall.
