There is a surprising amount of content available to you and having a local co-op mode gives the game some replaybility as well. The presentation side of the game is something that I really enjoyed and I think both the visuals and sound design add an extra layer to the gameplay. I found the gameplay to be extremely enjoyable and fun and it also carried with it a very addictive side to it which of course kept me coming back for more. There is an array of different mechanics in play during your time with the game and I’m pleased to say that each mechanic has been done well. Gamers of all ages can play this because it allows you to progress at your own speed which means the game never gets frustrating. The controls can be a little awkward to get the hang of at the start, but thankfully you do get used to them quite quickly. When played for long periods the game can be a little repetetive so I would recommend that you play the game in short bursts. I love it when a game surprises me and I especially love it when a game is better than I thought it was going to be. ADIOS Amigos is a game that did exactly that and I must admit that I was very impressed by how smooth the gameplay felt throughout. I was also impressed with the different mechanics in the game because each mechanic has been designed really well and they each add something different to the gameplay. This then makes the gameplay very addictive but even though the gameplay is very addictive I still would recommend that you play the game in short bursts because that will keep the repetetiveness down. This is important because in terms of content the game has a decent amount for you to get to grips with and it’s a game that has a rare quality as well. That rare quality is that the game is an equal amount of fun whether your playing on your own or with friends in local co-op so that means that ADIOS Amigos gets a solid thumbs up from me. Expand

Despite my grievances I enjoyed the game: it’s a solid, beautiful space exploration game — but one with too much space in between the good parts (pun intended).

After many hours of playing ADIOS Amigos, I’m still completely hooked. on trying to beat my high scores. Everything from the graphics, to the setting, and the music is just so inviting.

Adios Amigos is an interesting game. The blend of cartoon action and physics is good fun, and the fact that it is different each time you play makes it more appealing. It’s not the lengthiest game in the world, but the action that is here, especially running across local co-op and being suitable for kids, makes it worth a whirl.
