By this time, it was obvious, that 2K and Yuke's have not been focused on past-gen consoles development, so WWE 2K17 on Xbox 360 lacks many features, like MyCareer mode, seamless loading, advanced character creation etc. Basically, it is just WWE 2K14 with updated roster, arenas and UI. Unfortunately, several features were removed, such as highlight reel, we don't have 2K Showcase (in WWE 2K14 there was 30 years of WrestleMania mode). Worst of all — there are so many bugs! Most obvious — with audio. “From Cincinnati, Ohio, weighing at he is the 2 hundred WWE World Heavyweight and sixty-five pounds Champion”. In title updates some of the audio bugs were fixed, but new were added — like custom title announcement. There are of course many gameplay bugs. But it wasn't that terrible, as WWE 2K20 — at least it never crashed and was absolutely playable. Models in this game are not terrible, but definitely could be better. Also, about ring sounds — WWE 2K14 had awesome sound effects. In this game it sounds like something heavily compressed. In conclusion — I think, WWE 2K17 is worth buying only for people, who want modern (2016) arenas on old consoles and modern big roster, otherwise - just buy WWE 2K14 - you'll get much more enjoyable experience.
