Feb 17, 2023It's great. It's the best game I've ever seen. The picture is exquisite, the movement is smooth, and the design is exquisite.

Aug 27, 2010The best installment to date of this genre of game. Now I am not surprised to see so many mediocre ratings, as in all honesty, compared to other games from other genres, this is about a 6/10, but for this genre, the Koei pioneered Asian-With-Giant-Halberd-Hack-And-Slash, its a 9/10.

Feb 19, 2023Well it was a splendid experience =) Considering the age i was playing it, the impression was even more solid.

Aug 22, 2023The progression system was busted, you actually had to get every single character to max level to actually max level any individual character. Anyway, it was the game with the most playable characters I have ever played, just insane. But, if you played both DW and SW, there is not much to discover here. Still, had a lot of fun with it.

Proceed cautiously with this one. It's certainly not terrible, but it's not a great action game either.

Oh, how many restless nights have I spent yearning for a Koei game that would combine the worst parts of "Dynasty Warriors" with those of "Samurai Warriors"! [Oct 2007, p.113]

It would've been nice to see Omega Software's Warriors series move forward with Orochi but unfortunately it seems to have stood fairly still in its mediocre hollow of repetitive combat/strategy gaming. Not much fun even if you were playing it on a very rainy day.
