  1. Confounding puzzles aside, “Fright of the Bumblebees” functions nicely as an adventure game for just about any audience or age group. The humor is varied, the gameplay is accessible, and the challenge is substantial without being frustrating.
  2. The sense of humor and expression known in the series are there. For fans of the series this is certainly not the most sophisticated adventure, but the world of Wallace & Gromit is well reproduced by the adventure and you’ll will find here a lovely and appealing experience.
  3. Wallace & Grommit's Grand Adventures starts off on the right foot with Fright of the Bumblebees. Gamers who watch every episode will get the same feeling while playing this game. Add some entertaining puzzles and a friendly price tag and you know that Telltale has made yet another great adventure.

Feels a bit too easy, too slight. [June 2009, p.78]
  5. Official Xbox Magazine UK

Not overly ambitious, but rather charming. [June 2009, p.94]
  6. Perhaps not a grand day out, but a pleasant way to spend teatime.
  7. Game crippling glitch aside, “Fright of the Bumblebees” is a strong entry into this new series of four adventures.
