Spaniard0069Jun 28, 2007If your a transformers fan, you will enjoy this game even with all its flaws. Who doesn't enjoy walking around a city as a huge robot that weights several tons, is a couple stories tall and can actually level the city. Travelers Tales did a great job, now if only the would correct some of its issues and add some sort of online component.

MiguelG.Aug 1, 2007The game's fun, mindless fun. Its difficulty is well ballanced (Taylor A., come on... it's not hard at all m8!, about the Achievements, go look @ xbox360achievements.org, and easy gamerpoints suck!, the harder the cooler!). It also brings the possibility of soing the whole game as the bad guys and blow everything up.

RicardoG.Jun 30, 2007It's pretty fun and it definetely fun transforming. Their are some things that need to be fixed, like maybe the collision and the driving physics. The way you slowly pick stuff up is a little broken, but it definetely is enjoyable if your a fan. Anyone who doesn't care for the transformers brand should skip it.

McBain17Jul 25, 2007I have to say all these reviews offer something dead on about the game. But if you are fan you owe it to yourself to play this version of the game. Amazing robot graphics and beautiful transformations. Solid pick for fan boys (or girls) alike.

Nov 13, 2011I thought that the graphics were good and the gameplay was okay, but the camera is bad. Most of the game feels unfinished in certain parts. You'll enjoy it for the most part if you are a fan of Transformers.

Feb 21, 2012i found this game very disappointing, it screwed up the story big time, the controls were bad, and the voice acting was just plain awful, the only positive i have for this game was its graphics, besides that, the game was awful

Sep 11, 2015Transformers: The Game is just your typical bad movie license game. Activision failed to make this game any fun or make the story interesting. It is a waste of time.
-
Apr 16, 2016Its actually fun idlf u think about it. Its more like a guilty pleasure though. Its fun to just finish the story, and after that you can destroy everything. But it loses replayibility after a week.

Apr 15, 2020A game that comes from the movie Transformers from 2007 that i like and the chance of playing not only with the autobots, also with the decepticons is damn good.
-
Sep 22, 2022Sadly i had high expectations but it is the probably the worst console game i have ever played.

To produce a technically sloppy title is one thing, but the game is horribly flawed from conception to execution in a way we haven't seen since, ulp, Driv3r. Marred by a remarkably vacuous combat system, the pathetic driving and undercooked flying elements merely underline what a thoroughly wasted opportunity this was.
-
While Transformers: The Game may be something of a typical movie tie-in, there's just enough spark here to provide a bit of fun for anyone who likes the movie or is just looking for some dumb fun.

Official Xbox MagazineAdmittedly, the game is gorgeous. But because the narrative is as linear and rigid as a steel pipe, it's a shallow sort of beauty. [Sept 2007, p.83]
