AdamK.Sep 9, 2007How can people buy a game that last a week and then all the bugs come out, holes hanging, players disappearing. EA should come to the party as this could have been a great game, and now many people out there are waiting for a patch to fix the error(s). Very disappointing, could have been a great game, now it is money wasted.

DavidW.Sep 12, 2007Man, I don't know what the other user reviews are complaining about regarding bugs. I had heard that there was some problem with the tiger challenge uploading, but it seems to work for me. In fact, the game seems to be pretty solid. I like that they've included the Fed Ex Cup tournament thing. You wouldn't think that EA would incorporate something like that so soon.

lLeroyR.Aug 30, 2007I love the feel of this game it feel much more authentic then the rest. When I hit a good wedge shot I know it, as soon as it comes off the clubface.

StephenAbbamonteAug 28, 2007Ok one word, GamerNet. This is one of the best features I have ever seen in any video game, ever. This is what competitive gamers really want, the ability to create your own challenge and give it to the world and see who can beat it. this brings online golf and games in general to the next level.

OshiA.Aug 29, 2007Excellent graphics, especially on the new courses. The 3-click is a bit too sensitive, but you get use to it. Photoface isn't flawless, but I can make my own face with the default face maker. The interface seems pretty slick. Overall, the best golf game I've seen.

Official Xbox MagazineIt packs enough pure dazzle power to keep you trudging through the lows in pursuit of the sweet, sweet highs - and that's the stuff that great golf is made of. [Oct 2007, p.68]

No doubt about it Tiger Woods 08 offers up an excellent round of 360 golf. The gameplay upgrades are right on and GamesNet promises unlimited potential for online action.

Sometimes when you’re golfing you nail a hole because you bail yourself out with a superb putt, chip, or tee shot. But this game is instead like masterfully shot hole, where each stroke feels just right.
