StevenH.Jul 1, 2008It's quite simple: If you like board games, you'll enjoy this game. If you don't like board games, you probably won't. As an avid board game player, I think that this game is great. There's nothing like being about to play a great board game with people all over the world, or even against the computer if you feel like it.

HunterJun 26, 2008Didn't know the board game and downloaded the trial game without many expectations. However it's a surprisingly good game with a decent amount of strategy to it. Can't wait for the additional DLC which is already announced.

BenK.Jul 12, 2008Faithful adaptation of the board game. Music and sound effects are sparse. Red and orange look almost alike. Cards are missing symbols, making things difficult for the colorblind.

JoeJun 28, 2008Nice game! Great for when I need the pace slowed down a bit, but decent strategy. Strategy is a weakness on Xbox. Glad this one is around.

AdamJ.Jun 29, 2008One of the best arcade games on Xbox live. If you like board games, you'll love it. My wife is obsessed too, which doesn't happen often with games.

It's nice to feel engrossed by a board game again. [July 2008, p.66]

The biggest problem that most will have with Ticket to Ride is that it’s slow, but that’s inherent to board games themselves. The multiplayer is decent and the strategy elements are good and reasonably deep.

Ticket to Ride will split gamers' opinions. For those who love this genre, there is no reason not to enjoy this game. But for people who do not like slow-paced European board games, Ticket to Ride is not likely to change your view of the genre.
