    Yack, that's almost everything you need to say about this piece of crap. I'm a Sonic-fan and this unfinished garbage really hurts my black soul. Still I can say I like the overall level design - in rare moments it has the same feeling like the Adventure-titles have - and musics are pretty nice. Everything else, well, is **** Nothing more to say.

Yes people, this game was supposed to replace everything that we knew about sonic, by restarting the series all over again. And this pile of crap was that game. So seriously, if someone tells you this game wasn't that bad, then you make them play the game until its finished, as they get frustrated upon hours and hours to how horrible it is, and then after they finished the game, you better say, "Oh yeah, its that bad!"… Expand

The Silver boss was annoying, the only things he kept saying was "it's no use" and "take this" and this game even has bestiality (you know, that scene where elsie kisses sonic to bring him back to life).     This was the game that really started to ruin sonics legacy. We are probably never going to get a good sonic game are we. Or even a good show. It glitches, storyline sucks, and gameplay is terrible.

    The best thing I can say about this "game" is the opening cut-scene's graphics like oh my god looks like we won't be seeing anything like this anymore in the game. Sonic's character is pretty good I guess 3/10.

There are glitches everywhere, the graphics are unimpressive, the story is stupid and confusing, and the game as a whole is uninteresting. The only good thing about this game is the soundtrack. I'm a hardcore sonic fan, but this is not even worth renting for a laugh.

    There are many horrible things to say about this game but for me the worst thing what's the loading times take constant loading times that appear and ruined the pacing and it doesn't help that every time you talk to a person to get a quest there a loading time. The eviroments are bland and uninspired (although pretty impressive considering the source material), the story would make The Phantom Menace blush, and the loading times are long enough to make a sandwich.     For me this was the end of Sonic's legacy, he has made good games since but nothing will ever make fans forget the shoddy experience that was Sonic 06. Sonic Team should have never made this horrible game.

    Ugh so let's see. Sonic Team wanted to make a great Sonic game but Sega rushed it so instead we got this Sonic Adventure styled inbred abomination if a fanfic story, horrible characterization, bad controls, and tons of glitches. Terrible.

    To be perfectly fair, the first cutscene makes you think the game will be amazing. The CGI cutscenes are actually really good, but the computer mix stuff was just garbage. The story campaign was probably the only good thing about the game besides the the glitch heaven that is this game, when Sonic takes a random dance break against a rock. Honestly Mario was good enough with a princess. SoTo be perfectly fair, the first cutscene makes you think the game will be amazing.     This game is just bad... I can barely get through the first level without dying from a glitch or slippery controls. It's a very terrible game. It's frustrating, way too hard, and just INCREDIBLY GLITCHY, JESUS CHRIST, DO NOT PLAY THIS GAME!!!!

    A frustratingly out-of-whack experience. While its story tries it's best, it's gameplay's emphasis on 8 different characters and multiple hub worlds that the 360 can barely handle, doesn't really help that the characters that you've (unfortunately) stuck with for hours retcon the story out of existence. The soundtrack is pretty good tho

    It is downright amazing just how broken this game is. The music is awesome, Sonic can be fun to play with at times, and it's clear what they wanted to do, but there are too many glitches and poor gameplay choices.

But only from the main saga, because the game has good songs, spectacular Shadow story and an excellent villain, but the rest is pure crap. ln fact, if it wasn't rushed and deleted some things, maybe it would be a good game. lm the end, it turns out to be a bad game.

It's a novelty that has some sparkling moments of the ambition put into it, butAfter 16 years of nothing but hearsay, and finally acquiring a used XBOX 360, I admitted to myself that my curiosity about actually trying to play this particularly infamous Sonic entry had reached a breaking point, and I bought it digitally for $5. Honestly, that's accurately what it turned out to be worth. It's a novelty that has some sparkling moments of the ambition put into it, but too much of the execution, whether it's game physics not feeling natural, levels going on too long, hub world design being too bland, writing too unenjoyable, or even just the premise not matching the Sonic brand, can be quite laughable... but sometimes, we need something like that, and I may still come back to it now and then to beat my scores, so at least it's that and not outright depressing.… Expand

    Sonic KISSED a HUMAN!!!!! How can you beat that? Sonic defies social norms by commiting beastiality and doesn't get punished for it, what a god. Name any other game that is more progressive than Sonic 06 for the Xbox 360. They really need to remaster this classic for the Xbox 720.

The loading times are longer than Karen takes moaning at the manager. Also, WHY THE F**K DOES A HUMAN PRINCESS HAVE ROMANCE WITH A BLUE HEDGEHOG! And, later on, when Sonic (temporarily) dies, she kisses him. KISSING A DEAD ANIMAL. WHAT THE TRUCK! The glitches are worse than Cyberpunk 2077, which doesn't help either. This game is literally released as an alpha build. I feel this may have been a passable game if it hadn't been rushed out for Sonic's 15th birthday. But wow. What a terrible anniversary it was; Sonic Riders on Gamecube, Sonic '06 on X360 and PS3 and Sonic 1 on GBA. Poor Sonic.… Expand

    I bought Sonic 06 just to make more memories as a kid but when I played it, it was one of the worst video games I ever played in my life. My mom bought me & my brother an Xbox 360 just so we can start our hobbies of game collecting. My brother Christian got Spider-Man 3 and he enjoyed the hell out of it, while I bought of the worst games ever made. I played Sonic 06 for an hour and II bought Sonic 06 just to make more memories as a kid but when I played it, it was one of the worst video games I ever played in my life. My mom bought me & my brother an Xbox 360 just so we can start our hobbies of game collecting. My brother Christian got Spider-Man 3 and he enjoyed the hell out of it, while I bought of the worst games ever made. I played Sonic 06 for an hour and I couldn't stop seeing bugs and glitches all over the game where I refused to play Single Player. Then, one day me and Christian played Sonic 06's multiplayer where it was completely unfair no matter how times he won or I won.

    I recently watched a longplay of this game & this is what I saw after watching it...
    1. The Camera Angles were awful
    2. The graphics were awful
    3. I saw the same glitches back then when I played it
    4. The Controls were weird
    5. Loading Screens that took an eternity...
    6. The Story was incredibly creepy with the Blue Speedster falling in love with a Human Girl

The controls are very slippery and unresponsive, and the camera is very wonky and glitchy. Sometimes you fall through the floor, or get stuck in a wall, or die for no reason. It’s not fun at all. It makes me want to scream and kick the TV.

    Story
    The story of Sonic 2006 is very complicated and boring. It’s about Sonic trying to save a princess named Elise from a bad guy named Eggman. But then there’s also a bad guy named Mephiles who wants to destroy the world with a monster named Iblis. And then there’s also a good guy named Silver who thinks Sonic is the bad guy and tries to kill him. And then there’s also a lot of time travel and alternate dimensions and stuff. It’s very hard to follow and it doesn’t make any sense. It makes me want to sleep and snore.

    Graphics
    The graphics of Sonic 2006 are very pretty and shiny. The characters look very realistic and detailed, especially their fur and their eyes. The environments look very colorful and diverse, especially the water and the sky. The cutscenes look very cinematic and dramatic, especially the explosions and the fire. The graphics are the only good thing about this game. They make me want to stare and drool.

    Sound
    The sound of Sonic 2006 is very loud and annoying. The music is very cheesy and repetitive, especially the theme song “His World”. The sound effects are very harsh and unrealistic, especially the gunshots and the crashes. The voice acting is very corny and cringy, especially Sonic’s voice and Elise’s voice. The sound is very bad for my ears. It makes me want to mute and cover.

    Overall
    Overall, Sonic 2006 is a very bad game that I don’t recommend to anyone. It’s not fun, it’s not interesting, it’s not enjoyable. It’s a waste of time and money. It makes me sad and angry. I give it one star out of five.

    Don’t play this game. Play something else instead. Like Shrek Super Slam or Shrek Smash n’ Crash Racing . Those are good games that I like. They have Shrek in them. And me too! And they’re funny and fun! Play those games instead! Trust me, you’ll thank me later!    … Expand

    Not only are the voices horrible, as is the case for most Sonic games, but the story makes very little sense. It’s like if you took any basic Nintendo story like Mario saving the Princess, lengthened it to several hours long, and filled it with mindless details that make no logical sense at all.

    Atrocious camera angles lead to cheap deaths, the slippery controls make it difficult to get a handle on the characters and the game has a large problem with pacing. It tries to mix in side missions with general stages, and the disastrous results ruin the game.
