    This is a game that marked my childhood a lot, I would go straight to my friend's house just to play skate 3,
    it is extremely addictive and fun, the difficulty of performing the maneuvers is something that makes the game even more interesting, and besides that , the realism of the game.

    It's clearly not a real-life skateboarding game, where it's almost impossible for you to pull off the insane tricks that are possible in the game, but of course, if the game completely copied real life, it would be a drag.
    I think character creation is a bit limited in the sense of creating a character. It even has a lot of clothing and customization options for the skateboard, but I think it could give the player more freedom to customize their clothes within the game. Without a doubt, this game is not focused on the story, after all it is very simple, the focus is on you simply getting on your skateboard and going around doing tricks and carrying out the missions that are proposed. But anyway, it's extremely fun, you don't need any quest for you to lose several hours in this game.    … Expand

    Skate 3 is a great game, its a fun realistic open world skating game. Of course just like any open world game it will get boring that is with every game. The controlls are pretty good and the Graphics are good. Overall a pretty fun game.

    Skate 3 is a game I have been playing for the past 8 years and I always come back to it. Skate 3 is unique in a sense that you can always come back to it for a good time. If you want a calming experience Skate 3 can be that, If you want a Thrilling experience Skate 3 can be that. Skate 3 is one of my go to games to just relax and cruise, you don't have to know how to do all these inputsSkate 3 is a game I have been playing for the past 8 years and I always come back to it. The only issue this game has is it's silliness, It is somewhat janky and has very entertaining bugs and glitches, some people don't like that but I think it's pretty funny. The other part is the inputs, they are inconsistent (front flips and back flips) and that can get annoying but if you are patient and determined you can get the hang of it pretty quickly.     As a skater, I wasn't aware you can get such authentic feel of riding your board on a gamepad. Truly a masterpiece.

    I love this game. I was really looking forward to playing this and I wasn't disappointed, this game was awesome. The ragdoll physics are hilarious and the online maps are really good. I have a problem with it though. Playing online freeskate. When someone leaves online match you have to wait until the server is back up to six players. But people don't wait and just leave.     One bad thing I can say about this game is that it's too addictive as I used to just play this rather than the hundred games gathering virtual dust in the Xbox library. Even if some missions are too hard the sandbox is a lot of fun. Customization is a bit limited but the clothes look super cool. Also you can do a miracle whip

    I'm not usually interested in Skating games or Skating in general, but Skate 3 is an amazing game. Its really cool to do the countless tricks and moves becoming a better skateboarder. I found the Hall of Meat Mode/Feature really fun to mess around with. Like messing around with the citizens and making them mad. Didn't experience many issues while playing, I did experience a crash afterI'm not usually interested in Skating games or Skating in general, but Skate 3 is an amazing game. Its really cool to do the countless tricks and moves becoming a better skateboarder. I found the Hall of Meat Mode/Feature really fun to mess around with. Like messing around with the citizens and making them mad. Didn't experience many issues while playing, I did experience a crash after messing around with the Object Dropper feature.

    Skate 3 adds to an already incredible game series. It's one of those games I will always treasure. I only wish they hadn't excluded key features of Skate and Skate 2. Anyone who has played Skate 2 can attest to the absence of features like sponsors, Annals of Meat, proper ragdoll physics, and create a spot. Even without these features, Skate 3 still manages to cement itself as one of theSkate 3 adds to an already incredible game series. It's one of those games I will always treasure.     When I saw that a Skate 4 will be out soon, I had to go back on that masterpiece, and once again, I really enjoyed the game. The game have everything that a Skate game should have. From the story, to the gameplay, to the co-op mode. You can make your own skate park and you can customize your characters. The soundtracks are amazing, you feel like if you were out there, like a real skater.When I saw that a Skate 4 will be out soon, I had to go back on that masterpiece, and once again, I really enjoyed the game.     Je mets 1 surtout pour la vidéo rigolote d’intro, une vidéo « réelle » qui m’a refait penser aux vidéos complètement tarées du fameux Road Rash sur 3DO, un jeu paru il y a des lustres… et parti au cimetière des éléphants. C’était rigolo donc, cette assez longue intro, illustrant fort bien l’état d’esprit de ces baltringues qui font du « skateboard »…

    Et d’ailleurs, même que c’est aux Jeux Olympiques maintenant, ces conneries de skate ! mais je puis vous confier une chose : c’est aussi chiant en jeu qu’en vrai, pour autant qu’on ait la témérité de « grinder » les rampes et le mobilier urbain à proximité, bien sûr. Et d’ailleurs, ça me rappelle une émission, une sorte de vidéogag avec les jeunes cons qui se pétaient la gueule avec leur planche à roulettes et se prenaient des gamelles d’enfer : c’était drôle ! à se taper le cul par terre, je vous jure.

    Mais donc, quoi qu’il en soit, revenons à notre « jeu »… notons qu’il est bien amélioré via la rétrocompatibilité optimisée sur Xbox One X (et ultérieures) : détails poussés et résolution 4k, rien que ça. Du coup, c’est pas trop vilain du tout. Mais dire que c’est « jouable », amusant (?) ou simplement… intéressant (?!), ce serait mentir. Or, on ne va pas se mentir : c’est chiant, pas réactif, mal pensé et ça vise avant tout les ados idiots (pléonasme).    … Expand

    Hands down my favorite game of all time. Soooo many great memories. Lots of funny glitches, but also a reall fun game to master in terms of skating.

    My first console was an Xbox 360 and it was my only console up until recently and I have never stopped playing it. I have never been very good at tricks but with the awesome soundtrack and cool open world I never cared.

    Skate 3 was hands down the best game I've played in my entire life, it fueled my passion for gaming and made me love the skateboarding genre and skateboarding as a whole. If someone was to asking me what my favorite game of all time would be, It would skate 3 I'd recommend this game to anyone looking for a fun and wacky game when it comes to the skateboarding genre.

I also feel like Skate 2 is more refined, despite having a couple less features. Skate 3 is famously a rushed glitch fest.

    If you like Skate games, you've already played this one so there's no reason to recommend it to you. If you haven't tried the Skate games, check them out. They're all worth playing through.

    This is the game that I go back to half of the time when I'm deciding which game to play. Pretty big world to skate in which is expanded with community parks, large amount of cool tricks you can do, and the glitches add a little bit of unpredictable excitement which is really fun as long as you're in sandbox/free play mode.

What it did however was make subtle tweaks to an already brilliant formula to really make the best skate game possible.

    The game has aged incredibly well and its    Skate 3 is likely the best skateboarding game ever made. At the time of its release it wasn't as appreciated as it is now due to being released less than a year after it's predecessor Skate 2 and not adding a vast amount to it. What it did however was make subtle tweaks to an already brilliant formula to really make the best skate game possible.

    The game has aged incredibly well and its popularity in the world of streaming gaming channels actually caused EA to do a reprint of the game some 8 years after it's original release, this in the world of gaming is extremely rare, especially in this age of digital downloads. A large part of its popularity in streaming is the bailout ragdoll physics which can have some hilarious and always unique results. The game understands this appeal too, adding in a whole list of missions called "Hall of Meat" where the objective is to hurt your skater in a variety of creative and cringe inducing ways. This on its own is highly entertaining, gaining ridiculous levels of speed or height and then watching as your character lands with a sickening crunch of bones snapping before being presented with an x-ray view of what broke and where. It is great fun and a nice distraction from the actual skating part of the game.

    The skating is quite brilliant as well. The animations and physics are top notch and still hold up today. The control scheme of flicking the sticks to do tricks is a perfect example of something that is easy to pick up yet challenging to master and they do a brilliant job of folding quite a lot of tricks into one stick. Graphically it hasn't aged badly at all and whilst it obviously pales in comparison to modern day graphics it still looks good enough and has a nice level of detail.

    The game world is probably their best attempt out of the 3 games. It's quite vast and full of a mix of vert ramps and street style equipment. It is a world that invites you to become creative and invent your own lines and also one that allows the games brilliant missions to be diverse and entertaining throughout. There is a wide variety of gear and boards for your character to unlock and wear and they do a good job of using this stuff as the proverbial carrot to chase throughout the game. It's the sort of game you can lose hours in just fooling around, making your own lines up or scouting for a great stair set to gap or handrail to grind.

    If there are any downsides it is that for me, not being much of a skater, the pro skaters voice acting is shaky at best and pretty much all of the dialogue is annoying, particularly the announcer during contests who is that irritating I found myself muting the tv during contests. The computer has a nasty habit of spawning you in dumb places if you bail during a race which makes racing basically become a "do a perfect run" type of deal if you want to win. Frustrating but not too terrible. Again its a subjective point but I found the music to be so bad I just turned it off and they didn't vary up the genres as much as they do in other games.

    Besides that this was basically the perfect skate game. There isn't much to the story but who cares? As a sandbox for skating and/or breaking bones this is pretty much the best we ever got and with Skate 4 looking unlikely seeing as everybody is still buying Skate 3 this is probably the best we'll ever get.

    In a recent EA sale on XBone I saw this including and checked the price out of curiousity and it was a mere £3.74. I got about 10 hours out of it completing the main "storyline" and honestly I'm going to leave it installed because it's a good pick up and play game. Great value for money nowadays and just a great game. A superb mix of simulation/realistic skating and wacky off the walls fun. It never really seems to get old and that goes a long way to explaining why, after all these years, people still play it.    … Expand

    I seriously just can't get enough of this game. I'm not good enough to compete online or even do great in single-player, but I just love everything in it. If you're like me, you can watch HelixSnake's YouTube videos of this over and over and laugh like crazy every time. My friends and I love trying those tricks as well, but we're not nearly as skilled. But seriously, I don't think I couldI seriously just can't get enough of this game. I'm not good enough to compete online or even do great in single-player, but I just love everything in it.     The game looks good visually,and runs at a solid 60 fps.

    Gameplay wise,Skate 3 plays well,but is very precise and can be very unforgiving,at times leading to a lot of frustration.The game is very fun to play and the open-world and park editor are toyboxes for you to do what ever you wish.

    Soundtrack is good too.

    Overall,I would highly recommend Skate 3.Though frustrating at points,the game is so fun and you would be missing out by not playing it.    … Expand
