Game is fun! Can become a bit redundant after a while but this is so for most games. Inventory menu is a bit tricky other than that I recommend it for 12 and under and all those still young at heart. The game is just downright fun.

A cute and simple action platformer. Bit weak on the technical and presentation front, but is a refreshing change from the recent foray of shooters

"Bunch of old boring b*stards" - that's how those who write this superb game off as "for younger gamers" should be described, as they've obviously forgot the joy of having a bit of simplistic fun every now and then. Mini Ninjas is a game I am totally in love with and which captures that SNES-era style simplistic "run-jump-slash-run-jump-slash" free flowing platformy action very well. Mini Ninjas is a game I am totally in love with and which captures that SNES-era style simplistic "run-jump-slash-run-jump-slash" free flowing platformy action very well. It also adds a smattering of modern day depth to that via a sprinkle of sandbox-like exploration, radial inventory menues and the odd element from various games such as Prince of Persia and Zelda. All this is presented in a fantastically immersive atmosphere which is packed full of charm - it's really quite mind-blowing how peaceful and tranquil the environment is when you're exploring, and how it quickly switches to something so chaotic, humourous and exciting when combat kicks in. And that's something else - whilst not laugh out loud funny there's loads of really cool touches with give the game a superb sense of humour. I've never wanted to run round my house shouting "Ninja!!"so much than after playing this! Mini Ninja's is a thoroughly enjoyable game and whilst it has the odd flaw (the companions are a bit pap, an extra move or two would have been nice, certain boss fights are typical quick-time affairs) it's just so much fun that you'd be'd daft not to own it. "Ninja Ninja Ninja!!!" Expand

I don't really think there's anything wrong with this game but it failed to hold my interest longer than a few hours. It looks great, has fun gameplay and my wife thinks it's cute. I think it would be a great game for a younger child to play.

A great game for a casual player like me. Great art style. nice level design, interesting story setup. good game design (a bit prince of Persia, but eidos has been using ubi games for bench marks for a while so that doesn't surprise me.)

i can't really say the game is easy since I played easy mode. Giving it a 6 is a bit harsh. Reviewers nowadays ...

Its beautiful looking and plays well. That's the most important part for me! I loved the hat snowboarding stage the most. (Had so much fan just **** around in that level)

Refreshing game with beautifulvisuals , The environment and atmosphere is just amazing and Almost no dialogue in gameplay , It can become a bit repetitive so I would recommend Defeating one bass a day to keep it fresh , There isn't too much else to say that it is in recommended very much and special if you have kids

It was super cute and fun. It obviously has a target audience for kids but I did enjoy it while I played it.

Combine all of the above with a plentiful array of button mashing moves and abilities, and you’ve got a heck of a lot to play with.
  2. Despite the disappointment of there being no co-op play in Mini Ninjas' campaign, the game does enough to keep players entertained through well mixed gameplay, loveable characters, stylistically beautiful environments, and good humour. The Japanese story is finely applied and a wide audience will enjoy this title, meaning that it fulfils its remit and then some.
  3. Mini Ninjas is a likeable want to be, but it´s no more than that. It could be an awesome videogame, but IO Interactive didn’t know how to develop its good and innovative premise.
