I like the newly designed levels and the ability to create your own levels, but creating the levels is complicated and it is isn't like the movie stories like the 1st Lego Indiana Jones was.

It wasn't very different from the original. The game is pretty meh and so are the levels. I didn't like the open world thing that much tho it was cool. The real fun that i had was the level editor! So many levels that i made! Wow.

This is the worst Lego game yet. The levels are very short and follow the same basic formula, The levels have completely nothing to do with the story (most).

Lego Indiana Jones 2 is better than the first one but not by much. The story campaign are a little overrated if you ask me, but however the level maker saves this game's life and is very cool. Story Campaign 6/10 Level Maker 7/10 Lego Indiana Jones 2 7.1/10

We have played Lego Star Wars, Lego Indy 1 and recently Lego Batman to near-completion. Lego Indy 2 is by far the most fun we've had with the series since the delights of the original Star Wars. The gameplay is familiar yet very differently structured in Indy 2, which is why it's so much better. The "difficulty" that critics describe in navigating the hub worlds would have been lauded three years ago and should have been implemented long ago -- no more clunky purchase shops, no more dull returns to a main screen area between levels. Everything works seamlessly (including split screen) and reconfigures those extra block-gathering assignments in previous games into a casual collection system that cannot be missed, making the game actually much EASIER as well as more rewarding in terms of exploration. We've completed three of the four games and are delighted. I particularly like the revisits to levels (which are no longer "story" and "free play", but story only with the ability to revisit the level to collect treasure in a mini-puzzle setting, and additional bonus levels are hidden everywhere. Great fun, simply great. The characters are reworked (button schemes, animations, functions) which is refreshing and makes the brain work a little harder, something I find very important in my son's gaming -- despite being a remake, this is not a template of other Lego games, so trial and error (and logical connections) will play a part in figuring out each character's value -- that is, additional value, since the classic actions are still where they should be: Indy whips, Short Round crawl, Marion jumps, bad guys drop hats, etc. The boss levels are especially fun as they take familiar movie moments and then curve off into ridiculous, nonsequiter jokes. This too is very refreshing, having felt slave to the dull, perfunctory "story" gameplay of the original Indy game. If next year's Harry Potter does this and more, I will be very pleased. In fact, I may very much dislike all future Lego games if they don't continue this one's smart frankly better direction. Best Lego game. Expand

LEGO Indiana Jones 2 The Adventure Continues
    I wish that it didn’t
LEGO Indiana Jones is a little less than 6 hour long lego game that features bonus levels based on the first 3 Indiana jones movies but primarily is based on 2008s The Kingdom of the Crystal Skull And this is probably the worst lego game ive ever played Simply Put LEGO Indiana Jones 2 is a bunch of repetitive unfun

Simply Put LEGO Indiana Jones 2 is a bunch of repetitive unfun nonsense
I get it.. every lego game is basically the same..
I havnt played them all but all of them that I did play all have their own little spice that makes them theirs…
But this is some unseasoned chicken..
I feel like the bare minimum was done here..
sure theres a mode where you can create your own adventures and play them online..
but that doesn’t save this package from just being a giant let down..
The formula is the same throughout the entire campaign..
find bananas to trade with monkeys for a key, beat up some bad guys.. do a super annoying drags on forever car combat levels and then an annoying uninspired boss fight…
and all of these levels are spread apart by a little open world hub
This was clearly a bare minimum cash grab
and it sets out to annoy you at all times.. characters you need to progress will run around in the hub area forcing you to run and find them because you cant swap to them if theyre too far away.. which is super annoying during the puzzle platforming sections when the other character isn’t following you..
You ai partner is pretty much useless throughout the campaign.. doing nothing to distract in moments you need a distracting so youre annoyingly trying to juggle and figure out a puzzle while an enemy is attacking you and your partner is just watching…
there were absolutely 0 cool moments in the game.. the story feels throwaway…
LEGO Indiana Jones 2 is the ultimate chore of a video game to get through..
There’s not one single redeeming quality here…
I give LEGO Indiana Jones 2: The Adventure Continues
    a 4/10

It is the best lego game I've ever played. In other games you're getting more powers which are usefun only in some places to complete puzzle. In indiana jones 2 you receive tools that you can use anywhere and have fun. Levels are also much better than in other lego games and with completing levels you unlock second wersion of it which is puzzle but it's cool and fun.

Another really good Lego game. I wish they'd bring back the level editor in another game.

This game deserves to be higher rated at least more than the original, I understand if you don’t like the level system. Actually no I don’t understand and you’re stupid. If you like how the changes the Lego game system for Skywalker saga you have to like this game being original and innovative. I’m sorry it’s ahead of its time and too cool for some people to enjoy. The levels ARE better in the second game. No one cares if you don’t like the movies either it’s still good and the crystal skull maps and levels are awesome too. I’m conclusion it’s the only Lego game like it so you should try it, it’s a classic iconic game and still holds up. Expand

  1. Sure, the gameplay grew stale sooner than we expected, but it's hard resisting Lego Indiana Jones 2, especially once that familiar theme music kicks in. Just don't expect it to hold your attention for long.
  2. What once was an incredibly fun set of games has become a monotonous experience that’s more about going through the motions than it is about having a good time.
  3. While I appreciate the desire to try something new with the game structure after so many titles, the resulting mishmash of ideas is frustrating, repetitive, and unfriendly to both kids and adults.
