Set over an impressive 80 levels (including five tutorial run-throughs), Sarbakan's game is an instantly engaging bite-sized affair with plenty of replay value. Screenshots don't really do it justice.
-
For a game that has ’lazy’ in its title, this game is precisely the opposite. If you’ve been looking for a game that is enjoyable in either quick bursts or long sessions, Lazy Raiders is the game for you.
-
This entertaining puzzle game requires quick reflexes as well as quick thinking, but it's rarely as challenging as it looks.
-
The clever challenges it throws at you can be tricky, but the game is tuned perfectly so that you can either stroll through meeting the bare minimum requirements or really dig in and try to get those gold medals.
-
A casual game that has the ability to appeal to so many gamers.
-
With 75 levels, a few challenging achievements, and, of course, leaderboards, Lazy Raiders has got enough content to keep players occupied for hours on end.
-
Like Marathon (XBLA), you should try out the free demo before you make a full purchase just to see if your stomach can handle the rotation effects.
-
Official Xbox MagazineInnovative levels with plenty of optional challenges. [May 2010, p.73]
-
Pelit (Finland)A quite good inverted platformer. You move the level, not the hero. The objects move nicely in the rotating maze. The levels are a bit too samey, though. [May 2010]
-
Lazy Raiders is solid, but never really progresses to essential.
-
A thoughtful and intriguing game.
-
Lazy Raiders is totally worth a try for fans of strange facial hair, Avatar haters, and gamers wondering what Super Monkey Ball on a tight budget looks like.
-
Overall, Lazy Raiders is definitely a fun title.
-
X-ONE Magazine UKA perfect fit for XBLA. [Issue#58, p.105]
-
At 800 Microsoft Points, this game is a steal for fans of the genre, and those new to it a like. It's a perfect Arcade title, and a joy to pick up and play all at once, or in little doses over time.
-
It can get a little frustrating and confusing at times, but once you start to get that hang of the elements at play here, you will find a very fun game that is worth your attention and time, even in the sea of great games that are on the market this spring.
