An entertaining game, but one without a ton of variety.
-
Invincible Tiger: The Legend of Han Tao is a gimmick game. Its most unique feature is its ability to display fancy pants 3D visuals, and the experience is indeed impressive. But take that away and you're left with a generic beat 'em up.
-
3D graphics may be the future, but this dull beat 'em-up is unlikely to convince you of the fact.
-
The visuals are fancy, but this kung fu game suffers from uninspired combat and unresponsive controls.
-
Despite the appearance of finesse, it’s surprising how quickly everything devolves into frantic button mashing and rote flailing.
-
Invincible Tiger is a stylish, fun and frantic brawler. It has no great depth to it, but enough challenges and content to keep you playing until you feel like you're in your very own 70's kung fu movie.
-
After playing this game, it would be a real stretch for me to recommend Invincible Tiger at any XBLA price level.
-
Whilst Invincible Tiger looks great it really offers nothing new other than a mode that most of us cant play and with games like Turtles on Live it will soon be forgotten.
-
An old Style fashioned classic. A scrolling beat'em uf, funny for a few sessions, but not much worthy on the long ride.
-
Unless you’re simply dying for punishment, you’re unlikely to find anything to enjoy here.
-
If you’re a hardcore fan of side-scrolling brawlers from the NES era and you’re looking for something to scratch that nostalgic itch, definitely give Invincible Tiger a look.
