    a masterpiece. hard to see how they can better it with GTA V next year. I sure cant wait. the must have game for ANY gamer. Packed with a juicy story, hours upon hours of gameplay, nice minigames theres something for everyone

    You gotta play the game, why? It just expands on the already universally acclaimed GTA 4 and takes you to sides of Liberty City you have never explored. You follow The Lost, the biking gang in LC and the Glitzy night-life of the same, it just doesn't get any better. Enhanced controls and an all new storyline makes it a must have for ANY gamer.

    Cela faisait longtemps que je n'avais pas (re)joué à GTA 4 et ces DLC trouvés à pas cher furent l'occasion de s'y replonger 5 ans après... et de mesurer la très grande durée de vie du jeu de Rockstar. En effet, ce n'est pas tant par son contenu que par ses graves tares de jouabilité auxquelles on doit sans arrêt s'adapter tant bien que mal que GTA 4 et al. doit les nombreuses heuresCela faisait longtemps que je n'avais pas (re)joué à GTA 4 et ces DLC trouvés à pas cher furent l'occasion de s'y replonger 5 ans après... et de mesurer la très grande durée de vie du jeu de Rockstar.     C'est un TPS mais qui n'a pas les commandes intuitives de 99,9% des TPS sortis depuis des lustres. Le 0,1% restant, ce sont les GTA. Pas injouables, non, mais très pénibles : le déplacement, la visée, rien ne va. Le système de sauvegarde est aussi très mal foutu : devoir retourner à sa planque à l'autre bout de la ville juste pour sauvegarder... La gestion de la vie est tout aussi calamiteuse : pas d'auto-régénération soit mais pas de trousses de soin non plus, rien, que dalle. Va bouffer un macmerde au macgerbale pendant la fusillade ou appelle une ambulance (!) non mais sérieusement ?...

    Et les munitions ? va en acheter dans une boutique à l'autre bout de la ville ! mais c'est très pratique dites-moi... Décidément Rockstar a épinglé les joueurs sur sa liste des cons. Le jeu a bien sûr des qualités évidentes : la ville superbe et réaliste, les graphismes encore magnifiques même 5 ans après et la mise en scène à la Tarantino (si son aime le genre) est parfois marrante entre 12 **** fock foack faack dans chaque embryon de phrase. La conduite des véhicules est aussi très réussie et puis il faut le reconnaître, écraser des piétons ça détend.

    Mais personnellement le jeu vidéo est un loisir et GTA 4 et ses DLC m'emmerdent plus qu'ils ne m'amusent. Heureusement un développeur a pleinement saisi l'esprit "GTA" après une première copie mal dégrossie : les Saints Row 2, 3 et 4 de Volition respectent les joueurs, eux. Qu'ils en soient remerciés et qu'on balance Rockstar aux chiottes en n'oubliant pas de tirer la chasse très fort.    … Expand

    I don't suppose that it matters anymore, but I'll toss in an opinion here. GTAIV was the game that got me into the console vidgame hobby. The sheer depth of the characters and their stories impressed me greatly and convinced me of the merit of the video game as a narrative medium. It took me literally months to fully explore Liberty City and satisfactorily mine most of the humor and pathosI don't suppose that it matters anymore, but I'll toss in an opinion here. GTAIV was the game that got me into the console vidgame hobby. The sheer depth of the characters and their stories impressed me greatly and convinced me of the merit of the video game as a narrative medium. It took me literally months to fully explore Liberty City and satisfactorily mine most of the humor and pathos to be found. As a British satire of American urban life, GTAIV was nothing short of genius. So when presented with yet another chance to experience Liberty city, I RAN to the store. EfLC certainly did not disappoint. Yes, it amounted to a couple of big expansion packs, but so what? I got all the humor, all the depth, and all the fun all over again. When I booted up TBGT and realized where Luis was and what was about to happen, and that I was going to get to watch it from someone else' perspective, I smiled to myself because I knew that I was in for a great ride. The mechanics were identical to GTAIV. Good, because they are complex and I was already familiar with them, so the game didn't try to force me to learn new ones in the name of novelty. Like GTAIV, TBGT and TLATD were story driven action titles. Great. Unlike GTAIV, I got a chance to understand more fully the forces that were acting on Nico by following two parallel characters. All three had a profound effect on one another, yet each was barely aware of the existence of the other two. When combined, these games represent the ultimate existential adventure. I have never been able to find a single meaningful criticism of these games.… Expand

    Logo após ter concluído o Grand Theft Auto 4 em 100% decidi cair de cabeça nas suas 2 expansões, The Ballad of Gay Tony e The Lost and Danmed, de cara não dei muito porque sabia que seria uma experiência curta e não tão profunda como a do game principal, mas eu certamente estava enganado, enquanto progredia na busca do 100% nestes 2 títulos em formato de DLC eu pude ver muita coisa nova,Logo após ter concluído o Grand Theft Auto 4 em 100% decidi cair de cabeça nas suas 2 expansões, The Ballad of Gay Tony e The Lost and Danmed, de cara não dei muito porque sabia que seria uma experiência curta e não tão profunda como a do game principal, mas eu certamente estava enganado, enquanto progredia na busca do 100% nestes 2 títulos em formato de DLC eu pude ver muita coisa nova, sejam elas coletáveis, missões secundárias, atividades, muita coisa que não se encontrava no GTA 4, mesmo ele sendo um jogo bem completo, porém, o que mais me fez ficar apaixonado por esses 2 complementos foram as pontes de história que o jogo tem, que basicamente é quando uma missão do GTA 4 se interliga com uma das 2 expansões, e os personagens se vêem, ou até mesmo " trabalham " em equipe, isso é muito interessante e fez o game ganhar pontos comigo no quesito experiência pessoal, não preciso nem falar a respeito da história destes 2 games, ela consegue ser perfeitamente incrível, mesmo curta é boa o suficiente, logo, se trata de uma experiência necessária para quem jogou o GTA 4 base.… Expand

    As a gamer I love this game, as a person who loves a good story I love these games, and as a person who loves good world design, I like this game.

    Two lazy and boring DLCs for GTA IV. A real downfall for the GTA series. For fans of the forth part, everyone else go play San Andreas or V. Overall rating: 6.0.

    Two standalone missions using the GTA IV engine, with all of its strengths and weaknesses intact.
