    Nostalgia at its best. Nothing more, nothing less than the original. The "end-cut scene" is glorious in all its kitsch mood, and "cute" too. Brilliant in a very special way. Too bad its historical value is lost for the lack of a "proper" box, and box-art.

    If u loved the arcade version then u will love this wayyy more. Its a great game that all should love.

    I would have preferred to review the arcade version as that is when I first played this game. Still, the XBLA version is perhaps the most loyal port that is almost identical to the original game.

    With that said, it's still allot of fun, but today it does really feel dated. In the old days I would have rated this a 9, but my reviews are based on both my old and current opinions.     Overall:
    Golden Axe is, and always will be a tireless classic. However, this game is perhaps best left as a nostalgic memory as the more I play it today, the less I think of it.    … Expand

    La verdad que el juego esta bastante bien en historia, la pude traducir por google ya que lo grabe para youtube. Digamos que es bastante decente en historia y jugabilidad, tiene una dificultad mediana.
    Lo había jugado muchas veces, lo gane creo que unas tres veces solo y la cuarta fue cuando me atreví a grabarlo con un amigo, y creo que aumenta la dificultad al jugar de dos ya que la    La verdad que el juego esta bastante bien en historia, la pude traducir por google ya que lo grabe para youtube.     An excellently adapted version of the arcade classic. Fun, although the best part is the co-op.

    Co-op play over Xbox Live greatly extends the game's lifeline, and its emphasis on using a degree of strategy and communication over much more frantic titles such as Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles provides a nice change of pace. Its charm will probably wear off after two or three times.
