GioDJul 31, 2009One of the best 2D fighters ever made. Mark of the Wolves has 14 fighters, 13 of which are entirely new, a great balance of characters, awesome finishers, FANTASTIC graphics (for something that runs on the old Neo Geo hardware), and an incredibly deepfighting system. Dont miss out on one of SNK's greatest fighters EVER. 800 points is a steal for this game.

Even though Garou—Mark of the Wolves looks amazing (when taking into consideration the era in which it was released) and plays even better than it looks, there’ll be this feeling that you didn’t get that much value for your 800 Microsoft Point investment (or about $10).
-
Fatal Fury is still a great fighter and the characters are colorful and fun. It’s too bad SNK didn’t give a little more TLC to the visuals, presentation and sound.

Since Garou: Mark of the Wolves is just 800 Microsoft Points ($10 / £6.80), there’s a good chance that its target audience will find this as a must have and get a lot of time and enjoyment out of the game (especially if you can find consistent online competition). If you aren’t an aficionado, though, Garou won’t do anything to change your opinion.
