This is a fun FPS for fans of the series. It is a little better then the original. However, it is not on the level of a game like Call of Duty and the graphics could be better. The freak out factor helps to make up for its shortfalls.

They've managed it once again - a truly fantastic gaming experience.

Very one dimensional, yet still oddly quite enjoyable. Still had some good scare moments. Only was able to play the single player as I played this in 2014, so multi-player is irrelevant at this point.

Love that these add ons exist for the 360. Unfortunately the F.E.A.R sequels deviated quite a bit from the original gameplay's unique style. So for those who really like that gameplay this expansion is a must own. Extraction point is significantly scarier than the base game a PM is highly underrated.

Two full adventures based upon the F.E.A.R. formula of blasting things that go bump in the night. Basically like Black crossed with Silent Hill, it's atmospherically dark and dank and the bullet time device works quite well. It feels a little dated because the physics aren't quite right - everything feels a little insubstantial - and the graphics lack polish, but it plays quite well andTwo full adventures based upon the F.E.A.R. formula of blasting things that go bump in the night. Extraction Point is a decent, though brief, extension of the original title. Perseus Mandate, meanwhile, feels pointless -- a quick cash-in to remind us all that F.E.A.R. still exists before a full sequel.
  2. Multiplayer support and two decently-long episodes equals a good bit of gaming for fifty bucks.
  3. If going through the motions is your thing, F.E.A.R. Files is for you. But gamers looking for a more robust, rewarding and sexy experience can definitely do better than this game.
