    FRUSTRATING. The cheap rubberbanding breaks this game. Youll be doing good and then all of a sudden the A.I. flies past you- over and over again. This game is for kids???? If theyre playing to win its going to be one annoying game. Getting all the achievements/trophies isnt easy either. The game is actually good but the cheap A.I. breaks it.

    A simple racing game. Borrowed it from the library here. Mirrors mario kart 64 in having 50 cc, 100 cc, 150cc and Mirror. Each cc has 4 Circuits of 3 tracks each, there are really only 9 tracks as the last cup is just 3 previous maps at night. The maps are themed off a Dreamworks movie.There is also time trail, and battle modes.

    There are 12 characters, it appears 2 from each movie. Example being Hiccup and Toothless from how to train a dragon. I didn't see a tutorial option, so i had to read the manual to figure out that you can do tricks with the DPad for boost, and when you get 5 stars collected you can press B to use your characters special trick/attack thingy, and had t explain this to my younger sister.

    The powerups arn't anything specail, pretty much the same things from mario kart, Theres pumpkins for greenshells, frog for red shell, beehive for blueshell, quantonium(the crystal from monsters vs aliens) for star, jet packs for mushrooms, and shields to protect you.

    Graphics arn't great, but getting to hear the characters talk is entertaining, except when overplayed. Like hearing B.O.B. say he wasn't aiming for someone, or when he becomes indistructable.

    Overall it's a typical kart racer, which is nice to have on this generation in the typical fashion of mario kart with a standard controller. 4 player splitscreen (except i think bots are still there over 2 players, unlike mario kart 64). Kids could probably play it all day just repeating the same levels, but for a grown up the same 9 levels over and over again gets boring.    … Expand
