    On reprend du service dans ce DLC pour l’excellentissime (et tout premier) Dragon Age : on retourne dans les tréfonds afin d’aider un nain qui cherche son frère disparu dans un thaig à l’activité à tout le moins suspecte… Ce ne sont pas les engeances qui rôdent mais d’autres créatures très vindicatives…!

    Bien que l’environnement soit très joli et assez recherché dans son architecture (et sa présentation : l’élégante patte artistique Bioware comme de coutume) on en fait vite le tour malgré des interrupteurs à pousser ici et là… Le ‘scénario’ est ici réduit à sa portion congrue et lorsqu’il ne s’avère pas d’une banalité affligeante, il est incongru et maladroit. Et déjà vu.

    En outre, le gros vilain boss est assez pénible… rien d’insurmontable certes mais quelle lourdeur que de l’affronter ! ça n’en finit pas… d’autant que nos compagnons (habituels) ne sont pas là ; on en trouve d’autres sur place mais… peu bavards, ma foi ! et pour cause.

    Quoi qu’il en soit, c’est globalement bien vite torché ce truc-là et sans satisfaction aucune ou presque. Surtout que ce n’est pas gratuit et quand on fait les comptes, ce DLC reste bien pourravenaze !    … Expand

    This five bucks for a couple hours of so-so gameplay. Amgarrak is better than Darkspawn Chronicles, but that's not saying much. At least you get to customize your party a bit and gain a level or so for the Warden. Sadly, there are no treasure goodies to speak of. I played this to try to get pumped for DA2, but now I'm actually feeling less excited for the sequel to Origins. Overall,This five bucks for a couple hours of so-so gameplay.     Nothing really special here. Aside from a pretty decent end boss battle, it only It has a few good moments, but overall it's utterly forgettable and not worth doing. If you haven't tried it yet, don't worry you're not missing anything of importance.

    Although it doesn't shine for narrative depth nor interaction, Golems of Amgarrak proves to be a fine DLC, fully capable of assuring a short but intense gaming experience. If you don't mind its clear tendency towards action, you'll surely appreciate the strength of the enemies presented by the developers.

    Those in search of a tough brawl might find nourishment in Golems of Amgarrak's slim pickings, but it's ultimately another quest-by-numbers effort that makes it very clear that the Dragon Age team's attention has now fully shifted to the sequel.

    A boring story, slowdown issues and a difficulty that will leave many players bald after they pull out their hair is enough to describe your time with Golems of Amgarrak. Even at $5, it is way overpriced for the content you receive.
