    A douchey version of Indiana Jones blunders his way through an Egypt level, an Arctic level and a jungle level finding treasures and saving the world from Nazis and Commies. I didn't like the lead dude from the beginning. At least the redhead sidekick had a nice body. She was so attractive with her pretty face and tight clothes until she opened her mouth. To be fair to the voice actors, I think the main reason the acting feels off is because of how poor the lip syncing was, but still...     Very underrated great Game! Great Graphics and Sound. Good Adventure Feeling. Xbox 360 Version is the best!

    For all of it's ambition Deadfall Adventures is sadly plagued by issues and shortcomings that are the obvious result of being a smaller scaled and therefore smaller budgeted title than the triple-A juggernauts it is trying to measure up to. However given that there are so few Indiana Jones style games out there it may still prove to be worth a look regardless as it fills that void ratherFor all of it's ambition Deadfall Adventures is sadly plagued by issues and shortcomings that are the obvious result of being a smaller scaled and therefore smaller budgeted title than the triple-A juggernauts it is trying to measure up to. However given that there are so few Indiana Jones style games out there it may still prove to be worth a look regardless as it fills that void rather nicely.

    Where the game suffers most is in it's presentation and storytelling. The plot simply isn't very interesting and I never grew to like the two leads. Something that was in part due to how miscast their voice actors felt. The protagonist sounds like an old man and his attractive sidekick has the worst faux British accent I've ever heard. The rest of the cast doesn't fare any better. It's evident that nobody who got behind the mic knew how to act. The writing is nothing more than a bunch of clichés.

    Deadfall's mix of shooting and puzzle solving does a much a better job of holding it's own. The firefights aren't really anything to write home about. The undead mummy enemies you'll encounter can prove memorable thanks to the unique approach of using your flashlight to make them vulnerable before you can finish them off, but the human foes are incredibly dull in combat and have lackluster AI. Aiming is a little stiff as well. The brainteasers in the game are cleverly designed and actually made it feel like I was someone competent enough to belong in a tomb deciphering the mysteries left behind by ancient civilizations and deactivating centuries-old booby-traps. They really sell the feeling of adventure as do the environments. The graphics are dated and a little muddy, but the design of the locales themselves is interesting and they are filled with hidden secrets and side-paths that lead to optional treasures. On top of these diversionary collectibles often having some of the game's most memorable puzzles tied to them, each treasure you find can be used to level yourself up at certain intervals. Thus it's worth getting off the beaten path.

    I would have preferred something a little more open-ended as this is a much more traditional first-person shooter than I was expecting and Deadfall is at it's best when it's diving as much into it's archeological inspirations as it can. No aspect of the gameplay is really as smooth or polished as anyone would want, but I found a memorable adventure here anyways. It's able to provide exciting moments such as a standout mine cart ride that rivals Temple of Doom itself despite not having much going on story-wise. I should also mention that the multiplayer portion of the game is completely dead and the survival mode isn't much to speak of. Simply put, this is a highly-flawed package that is all about the single-player experience.

    There are plenty of treasures to be found within Deadfall. They're just small and are going to require some digging. If you find yourself up to the task of overlooking a constant stream of deficiencies then this may just be a game for you. I know I enjoyed my time with it as I've always had a soft spot for the smaller, more imaginative projects out there that are executed just competently enough to be playable, but not enough so to really blow anyone away.    … Expand

    Well, there are some problems with the game. The voice acting is pretty stiff. There isn't much to the story. The level designs can often feel narrow, uninspired, and they leave you feeling trapped. The baddies just swarm you, and your sidekick is no help whatsoever.

    But there are some bright spots to the game. They have a strong puzzle element going on, and there are some interesting concepts for the character, like making use of a compass, a notepad to give you clues, and a flashlight.

    Other than that however there is nothing that really makes this game stand out. I think it's worth a try though.    … Expand

    What is there to say about this game? There is little I can think to report as I've already forgotten most of it even though I just recently finished it. Everything about this game is painfully average. It is clear what Nordic Game's was trying to do with this release - make an Indiana Jones/Tomb Raider type adventure game, but it just fell short. The combat mechanics were poorly done. Some weapons seemed wildly under powered, while others, like the shotgun, were extremely overpowered (but fun). The story was wildly stereotypical and predictable. Graphics were below average for a 2013 release.
    The most confusing part of this game was the protagonist. For a main character he just wasn't likable at all and had no substance or depth whatsoever. He seemed to have no interest in archaeology even though it was his life's ambition. Furthermore, he was a complete moron in most dialogue, making fun of the other characters for reading and learning, but then in some cut scenes he would be sitting at his typewriter pounding out a thoughtful, well written transcript. It just didn't match up, there were too many character inconsistencies and he was completely unlikable. A disappointing experience overall.    … Expand

    this is pure garbage.This game is yet another where even the studio and publishers know it is bad and are trying to artificially inflate the score by posting overly positive reviews. This is pathetic. Just look at all the similarly phrased, 'Google translate' English being used. Don't be fooled. This game is not worth your time or money.

    You have not played a game like this from a first person view. The environments are fantastic and when coupled with a great soundtrack they create a brilliant atmosphere. Love the minimal HUD UI and all the puzzles are good fun. Yeah its not perfect - the lead voice artist is just bad, the story and dialogue are poorly executed and the cut scene character animation could be a lot better -You have not played a game like this from a first person view. The environments are fantastic and when coupled with a great soundtrack they create a brilliant atmosphere. Love the minimal HUD UI and all the puzzles are good fun. Yeah its not perfect - the lead voice artist is just bad, the story and dialogue are poorly executed and the cut scene character animation could be a lot better - but there are no massive game breaking glitches and above all the whole thing is really enjoyable. Everything works as it should and the game is solid. If you like films like Indiana Jones and The Mummy series buy this during a sale (as I did) and you will not be disappointed.… Expand

    Seeing as I doubt very many people play this game to begin with, especially with all the negative reviews of it on pretty much every site out there, it is hard to believe that anyone would really take the time to play a sub-standard multiplayer component anyway in such a forgettable title. Plus, the quality itself and the fact that nobody really has heard of the tittle all the way up until it’s release is a telling factor as well, I’d say. Deadfall Adventures had an honorable and thoughtful goal of mixing elements of shooters and puzzles together, but it totally falls flat and fails to be really fun or even remotely pleasing in most aspects. Some moments may pique your interest slightly, but the Medal of Honor games of old are much better done than this so-called ‘new” shooter. Don’t waste your money on it, bottom line. I’d even recommend the heavily-flawed Turning Point: Fall of Liberty over this game, as that one is six years old and about five dollars or so.

    Concept: Copy Indiana Jones and fail, fail, fail.

    Graphics: Though the environments are all pretty bland and cliched in their own right, the graphics aren’t really that bad at a distance. When you get up close however, objects are blurry and things look muddied as they run into one another as well.

    Sound: The voice acting is pretty bad and forgettable, but the soundtrack is average and not too bad overall- reminding me more than once of better adventure games.

    Playability: The gameplay is often marred by lag and framerate issues, and the controls don’t allow much in the way of actual control, which makes things harder than they should be and very inaccurate in the activation of items and the shooting or otherwise dispatching of foes.

    Entertainment: Though I am almost positive nearly nobody recalls the Quartermain novels of old, and wouldn’t be caught dead playing this game even if they did, the adventure story doesn’t feel very adventurous or even remotely very much fun, and I too wouldn’t want to be associated with it.

    Replay Value: Very Low.

    Another really good game getting bad reviews, players try them yourself if they interest you because you cannot and must not trust the critics. This game has lots of things going for it. Sure it is not the greatest game ever made but it is lots of fun and has some good writing although some of the funny lines are not delivered to the maximum effect.     Are U ready for adventure I spent 12 hours and it was good time. Deadfall Adventures has some Uncharted in its genes, but playing it doesn’t feel like playing Uncharted. The action was fast and exciting. I prefer FPP than TPP.

    Is it perfect? Absolutely not. Is it fun, though? Absolutely. A pretty good game focuses on the single player aspects. i'm reall impressed. Each level is a whole new experience, each time you play it, something always changes. Buy it and discover just how fantastic a video game can be.. This game is a must have

    I love Indy There are games and there is Art. This game is the latter. It's not just a great shooter (which it also is), but it's a game where you emotionally bond with the characters and the story, with a very detailed world

    I had really great fun to play DA. Old school FPS rules. music in the game as silk velvet to my ears. I love this game & I can`t wait 4 more. Nazis back in good shape

    The last level the game is simply amazing. Intriguingly are some reviews. After all, this game is pretty damn fun to play. Well spent some euro. I'm waiting for first DLC. I want more Indiana Jones

    Deadfall Adventures is the perfect adventure!. If you’re a fan of games like Tomb Raider or Uncharted..get playing! The adventure is waiting Combat is fun, especially when traps are involved, Solving puzzles and finding treasures is continuously fun, Almost everything about this game is fun.

    This is just the start of your adventure, and to be honest, it’s actually really fun, though not too awe inspiring. Deadfall Adventures plays like a First Person Shooter cross between Red Dead Redemption and Uncharted, but with Nazis and mummies, and probably much more as the story plays out.

While it isn’t quite a blockbuster, Deadfall Adventures is an exciting ride well worth the price of admission.     If you enjoy shooting at waves of enemies, this is a fair shooter with some brains in it. Or, perhaps, you’re a diehard Mummy fan, in which case, you should feel at least some sense of adventure when you figure out some of the cooler puzzles. Pretty Environments

In the opening area, the sun has that terrific heat-wash that distorts its perfect circle shape. Textures are incredibly detailed and lifelike.     The real adventure is poured buckets of the game. Fun is great but feel here that this is a game that does not have a huge budget. Cutscenes are a little stiff. Deadfall Adventures features some impressive-looking locations.

    In fact, it's quite unusual Deadfall Media Blender Mixer, which cast a variety of content and then to have a very meaty dish. I love This game. Artic level is AWSOME.

    Very good gameplay and amazing music. As for me, back to the days of the Nazis is hit the jackpot. The final time of FPS I had to choose: war, space, horror. Indiana Jones again ruled

    It can be good fun if you love climates with Indiana Jones. It's not Uncharted or Tomb Raider, but the smell of adventure floats through the whole game. I've seen the PC version and there this game looks better than on Xbox.

Admitedly not for everyone, but if you like tombs, traps, puzzles and the supernatural, don't miss out!… Expand

    Darkfall Adventures is a middle-of-the-road Lost World adventure, where our wisecracking Indiana Jones-like hero spends more time saving and re-saving the girl than recovering a purportedly priceless and powerful treasure that ultimately doesn’t come off as all that pricey or powerful in the end.

    I certainly appreciate what Deadfall Adventures was going for and I'm always open to adventuring on a less-than-AAA scale, but the over-reliance on shooting and the abysmal voice acting knock this afternoon-matinee romp down a few pegs.
