JunnyCApr 5, 2010Thought there would be more for the price. Disappointed that Activision didn't pack the DLC like World at War DLC. i.e. new maps and Zombie mode. I was hoping for at least new spec-ops missions along with maps. Oh well good-bye space bucks. I will be more hesitant on the next DLC available.

Is the Stimulus Pack worth 1200 Microsoft Points? It depends. The new maps are nice enough, and offer good gameplay solutions (in particular Storm), but the price is way too much for this DLC. The return of two Modern Warfare classics is nice, but after hours and hours of play with the original game, the idea of having fun with them again is not so nice. If you're a Modern Warfare 2 supporter, probably you'll buy this DLC anyway. Else, be careful: it's not such a big deal.

Taking into account the amount of content and pricing of 1200MSP, we've given the Modern Warfare 2 Stimulus Package a respectable Overall Rating of 6.5/10. Modern Warfare 2 veterans will surely be picking the Stimulus Package up, and it does what it sets out to do, in giving players some new, well laid out maps to do battle on.

It accomplishes what it sets out to do, but the Stimulus Package feels closer to a shot of caffeine than it does adrenaline.
