    At this point you know what you're getting yourself into when you buy COD DLC. However, the 4 new multiplayer maps are quite fun (with awesome care-package drops to boot) and the new guns are a "blast" to play with. This certainly adds a bit of refreshment to an already addicting online experience and it's a must-by for COD-enthusiasts. For the casual gamer, if the game has held yourAt this point you know what you're getting yourself into when you buy COD DLC. This certainly adds a bit of refreshment to an already addicting online experience and it's a must-by for COD-enthusiasts. For the casual gamer, if the game has held your interest for this long there's no reason not to try this out if, for no other reason, than to break up the monotony of playing the same old maps again and again.

    I found this DLC to be well worth it as far as value goes. The new maps are welcome additions for the most part. Personally my favorite is Bay View, as the map is enjoyable to look at and the action is never too far away. Campers are easy to pick off and choke points aren't as prevalent as some reviewers say. Fog is an awesome innovative map and it's a blast to play as Michael Myers,I found this DLC to be well worth it as far as value goes. The new maps are welcome additions for the most part. Fog is an awesome innovative map and it's a blast to play as Michael Myers, who is basically an axe-wielding Jugg Maniac with amazing theme music. Ignition is a worthy remake of Scrapyard and personally I find it more enjoyable than the original. When I first played Containment, I despised the map. However, it is starting to grow on me.

    Each map has a special care package but Michael Myers in Fog is by far the best one. Containment's package blows up the bridge but gives the enemy team ample time to flee. Ignition's package clears out the pipes but thankfully does so without warning. Bay View has the standard mortar fire, which actually may work to the advantage of the opposite team (forcing you into shops basically forces you to camp for the duration of the mortar fire, making it easy to pick off enemies eagerly running around.

    The maverick AR is fun to use but may be a bit too powerful, especially since they nerfed AK/Remington. Personally I find it comparable to a smaller, lighter version of the M27 (LMG) with superb iron sights, above average accuracy, and decent damage. The Maverick sniper is certainly different and I have mixed feelings about it. Admittedly, I don't tend to snipe often in Ghosts. The rifle seems to take noticeably longer to aim down sight than other SR's, making Quickdraw a necessity. The default scope is a sniper tracker sight, which I tend to find rather cheap. On the whole, it is certainly not a game-breaker (here's looking at you MW2 Thermal Barrett).    … Expand

    This is a great dlc as you get 2 new weapons. 3 strong and 1 average new multiplayer maps and you an all new extinction episode. You even get to play as michael myers. This is the best cod dlc yet in my opinion

    You can play as Michael Myers... plus 4, new extinction map... plus 2... The actual multiplayer maps garner 0 of my review score. This is a mediocre expansion for a mediocre game...

    This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. Did not plan on any DLC but thanks to lax security on my profile and my paypal linked to my account, my son was influenced by a certain you tuber couldn't help himself.

    I was pleasantly surprised. The New guns Maverick assault rifle, and sniper did not disappoint. The iron sights are amazing. It was vastly superior to the peace keeper from black ops 2.

    These maps are fun. The designs rocked my world.

    Fog was fantastic, a dark sleepy hallow feel.
    Mike Myers care package drop was a riot.

    Bayview was an interesting use of lights and shadowing set in a San Francisco type outdoor mall.

    I was actively looking for enemies hiding behind things . The shadows help.

    Containments use of nuclear radiation interfering with your mini map was neat.

    Ignition was a surprise, a shuttle launch that ends like the Challenger...

    If they introduce sticks and stones I'd be a happy man.

    Do yourself a favor and play gun game on every new map. It's the best fun I had since MW2.

    Extinction map is difficult just like the original map, so that's a turn off for me.
    It's not zombies and I hate that. It's beautiful though.    … Expand

    Onslaught is a solid but recognizable DLC, that feels awkwardly familiar. Although three of the four new maps are new, all feel like you played on them before. Nightfall on the other hand is a pleasant surprise and adds new content to the Extinction mode.

    This is DLC that sticks to what has worked in the past while taking tentative steps towards a different formula in which Call of Duty is many games under one banner. Action movie, slasher horror, sci-fi conspiracy - they're all in here, and often competing with each other.
