    Uno de los juegos a los que más he jugado en mi vida, por lo menos en cuanto a coches se refiere, es este Burnout Revenge. La 4º entrega de la saga de carreras más desenfadada y animal de Criterion Games mejoraba en todo a las anteriores… y a las posteriores también. En mi opinión la saga no ha alcanzado el nivel mostrado aquí en ninguna de sus iteraciones posteriores y aunque son juegosUno de los juegos a los que más he jugado en mi vida, por lo menos en cuanto a coches se refiere, es este Burnout Revenge. La 4º entrega de la saga de carreras más desenfadada y animal de Criterion Games mejoraba en todo a las anteriores… y a las posteriores también. En mi opinión la saga no ha alcanzado el nivel mostrado aquí en ninguna de sus iteraciones posteriores y aunque son juegos divertidos, que duda cabe, este es una obra maestra.

    El juego se desarrolla por fases que se van desbloqueando a medida que el nivel de venganza va creciendo. ¿Qué es el nivel de venganza? Pues ni más ni menos que la experiencia que acumulas en las diferentes pruebas que se te proponen. ¿Como se consigue experiencia? Pues conduciendo como un animal, pero bien eh, nada de hacer el cafre por hacerlo. En Burnout hay que hacer el cafre, pero de forma molona y espectacular. Cuanto más te mees en las normas de tráfico y peligroso seas en carretera más experiencia conseguirás y avanzarás en el juego.

    Hay pruebas de diferentes tipos. Están las típicas carreras contrarreloj con prototipos que vuelan, las carreras contra otros rivales que están locos y no dudarán en sacarte de la carretera o estamparte contra un camión, están las pruebas de grand prix, donde debes puntuar en diferentes circuitos para alcanzar el oro, pero lo más llamativo, sin duda, son las pruebas destructivas. Como, por ejemplo, Furia en la Carretera, que es la prueba estrella, en la cual debes cumplir con un objetivo mínimo de takedowns, o accidentes provocados a tus rivales. También la divertida y más estratégica prueba de choque, donde con unos vehículos pensados para la destrucción, tienes que causar el caos aumentando los daños económicos todo lo que puedas.

    En definitiva Burnout Revenge es un juego ya clásico, de 2006, pero que ha envejecido fenomenal. Sus puntos fuertes aún se sienten intactos a los mandos. Te reirás, te picarás y te lo pasarás pipa destrozando a tus rivales en circuitos enrevesados, llenos de tráfico y de atajos en los que destrozarles los coches de mil y una formas. Creo que hoy por hoy la mejor forma de disfrutarlo en 2023 es a través de Xbox y su versión para 360 totalmente compatible con las máquinas de nueva generación. El juego luce espectacular. Por poco menos de 10€ lo he disfrutado como un enano. Es una pena, eso sí que los modos online ya no estén disponibles.    … Expand

    Takedowns here are so unsatisfying, and that's enough reason for me to drop the game and don't look for good speed and drift there. I was hoping for crazy butt action, send rivals to walls, beat em with all I've got, but I just can't do that. It's a serious shame.

Revenge not only refines the gameplay of Takedown, but also expands on it by making the maps way more vertical, adding in crash breakers into the main events, and having traffic checking. This game turns up the chaos to 9000. A must play for arcade racer fans andSimply perfection. While many want to say that the 3 game is the best every, Revenge is the pinnacle of the Burnout series. Revenge not only refines the gameplay of Takedown, but also expands on it by making the maps way more vertical, adding in crash breakers into the main events, and having traffic checking.     It's basically Burnout 3 again, only... slightly worse.

    Once again, it is tons of fun to race through traffic at insane speeds with an energetic soundtrack and to smash other cars to pieces. BUT! If there was ever a game in need of more visual clarity, it is definitely this one. As is typical for this console generation, all the graphics just blend together into one big    It's basically Burnout 3 again, only... slightly worse.

    Once again, it is tons of fun to race through traffic at insane speeds with an energetic soundtrack and to smash other cars to pieces. BUT! If there was ever a game in need of more visual clarity, it is definitely this one. As is typical for this console generation, all the graphics just blend together into one big brown-grey-yellowish muck, and the oversaturated light/shadow-effects and the useless debris blocking your view don't exactly make it easier to see what's going on. Many times, when taking certain shortcuts, you basically just have to pray for things to work out, because you have absolutely no chance in hell of accurately perceiving which way to go and making the necessary adjustments in time. Add to that the fact that the developers apparently deemed it fun and necessary to add tons of little nooks and crannies and walls into the tracks, which you can crash into really easily if you're not super careful, and so the frustration factor can get pretty high pretty quickly. This is only exacerbated by the crash cam which lingers on the wreck of your car WAY too long for my taste. Just let me get back into the action already!

    Another thing that bothered me is how uncooperative the other cars seem to be when it comes to Takedowns. It can be suuuuper hard to take them down and maneuvers that you thought would result in a sure hit (and would have in Burnout 3) frequently don't do anything at all. Basically, the AI just flat out refuses to be taken down sometimes. On the other hand, you just crashing into a wall on your own seems to count as a Takedown for the AI really easily, as long as they're even somewhat close at the time, which is just BS.    … Expand

    When I come to think of it, I really have nothing to put down about this game.

    Graphics and framerate are smooth and beautiful, the rewarding of crashing competitively crashing cars keeps the game interesting, and this is a game that I keep wanting to come back to!

    When comparing this to other Burnout games I've played, this one has stood out as vastly superior to the others!

    Très drôle au début, on rigole bien pendant un certain temps devant tout ce bordel à l'écran, ce simulateur d'accidents défoncé au crash. Contre toute attente le jeu a bien vieilli graphiquement et on s'en prend encore plein la tronche. Cependant ça devient très répétitif malgré des modes assez distincts mais qui sont recyclés à l'infini dans une carrière trop longue. Il est aussi rapide et furieux qu'un Wipeout HD Fury mais contrairement à ce dernier, aucune technique particulière n'est requise : c'est le bulbe rachidien qui s'occupe de tout.     Very great game, but It's a little bit sad that you can't buy cars, and on original xbox this game looks better than on x360. But graphics are awesome, cars are fast and shiny. And as I said before this game looks cool.

    This is easily the best arcade-style racing game on Xbox 360. It is so much more fun than those racing games we get nowadays. It also has 2player splitscreen, which makes it even more awesome. If you like to have fun and if you like fast racing games, you're gonna love this game !! :D

    An excellent game based around the simplest of formats, this game remembers the first thing you used to as a kid when you had two matchbox toy cars in your hands, smash them together.     I am glad I bought this game instead of Ridge Racer or NFS. This games is incredibly awesome with super awesomely fast turbo boost which makes the races much more fun. I feel so amazing when I play this game, using beautifully-designed cars with super fast turbo. Feels like a real racing. I absolutely love this game and I am still playing it. You guys should check this game out.

    I really enjoyed this racing game even though the graphics are not on the same level as something like Forza. It's fun to smash into other cars and drive them off the road. I'm not quite ready to shell out the $50 for Forza Horizon (which is awesome to see) so this was a nice cheaper alternative that satisfied my racing urge. The variety in different missions keeps your attention andI really enjoyed this racing game even though the graphics are not on the same level as something like Forza. It's fun to smash into other cars and drive them off the road. I'm not quite ready to shell out the $50 for Forza Horizon (which is awesome to see) so this was a nice cheaper alternative that satisfied my racing urge. The variety in different missions keeps your attention and the missions which have you driving down a street and smashing into vechicles to create as much damage as possible is really fun to replay over and over trying to get more damage dollars. The only critic I have is that a rewind button might have been nice. Overall though, I was definitely satisfied with the $20 purchase for a game I've been playing off and on now for 3 weeks. I get a craving to smash up more cars and this is the ideal game to satisfy that as well as a very fun arcade type racer. If the graphics ever become Forza quality in the Burnout series and they keep the price low, it'll give Forza a run for it's money. Burnout Revenge is like Asphalt 7 on the ipad but with a lot more missions/options.… Expand

    Same game as always just each version has better graphics. Worth having when the kiddies come around, especially if you can pick it up cheap 9 out of 10 for kids under 8yrs, over that 6 out of 10

    I'll tell you something right now,Criterion as a company are brilliant in every way possible.It's 2011 now and I just pop this game in still after all this time and LOVE IT!I'm deeply involved in there new game Hot pusuit but still play Burnout Paradise on a regular basis too.I'm a game junkie so I'll still play burnout 2 and 3 also but not as much but I'll tell you that Burnout RevengeI'll tell you something right now,Criterion as a company are brilliant in every way possible.It's 2011 now and I just pop this game in still after all this time and LOVE IT!I'm deeply involved in there new game Hot pusuit but still play Burnout Paradise on a regular basis too.I'm a game junkie so I'll still play burnout 2 and 3 also but not as much but I'll tell you that Burnout Revenge xbox version or 360 version rocks.I prefer the 360 version in a heart beat because it has more speed,better graphics and took everything amazing about the game and left the small irritation out.A definate 10… Expand

    this game is one of the best racing games that i have ever played, especially when you can use a traffic car and taking out a rival. I would recommend this game to someone that has never played a game that deals with choosing a car and just obliterating it until you win.

    Incredible game. Original racing mayhem like never before. Definately the best in the series. Looks beautiful in high definition and the xbox live mode is superb. Will never get rid of this beauty.

    I'm not a fan of arcade racers at all and this game didn't change my mind. Boring repetetive and it also has hard achievements. Go for Dirt or PGR3 instead.

    I have a very selective games collection, and generally only have the top 4-5 games at any one time on 360, but Burnout Revenge is never leaving my shelf (except maybe to be replaced with the forthcoming 'Burnout: Paradise'). - This is Burnout at it's best... fast, frantic fun at a constant 60 frames per second, with far greater detail than any other available version of I have a very selective games collection, and generally only have the top 4-5 games at any one time on 360, but Burnout Revenge is never leaving my shelf (except maybe to be replaced with the forthcoming 'Burnout: Paradise'). - This is Burnout at it's best... fast, frantic fun at a constant 60 frames per second, with far greater detail than any other available version of Burnout, plus far superior sound and extra content (more crash junctions) when compared with the Xbox/PS2 versions. You'll laugh yourself silly the first time you max out a crashbreaker... your screen briefly goes completely white with the intensity of the explosion while your subwoofer rattles the room....     An excellent arcade racer that suffers simply because it's the exact same game released a year previously on the last console generation, just prettier making a purchase redundant to those who played it then. Those new to the game should check it out.

    Some purists may still be turned off by the confusing tracks and the "traffic-check" carnage, and there probably isn't enough new here to warrant a buy for those who have already played through Revenge last year, but the engine is running more smoothly than ever, adding another solid racer to the growing 360 garage.
