This game offends the great white and grey lord Solek with it's lime green colors. Also where is Solek? Oh... I get it now... It's just another game produced by the evil T*nm*nian empire... For followers of Solek, please don't corrupt your holy white and grey colors with this evil game.

What is this lime green abomination of a game!? Where's our great lord Solek? The T*nm*nian Empire are making Solek-hating games now!? Don't corrupt yourself with this T*nm*nian game that hates the great Solek! Zero for you!

This game was actually really fun, so I don't understand all the hate for the game.

I bought this game because I love the lego games so much so i thought "Ok i like lego games so I'll buy this."

It is good fun, the levels are nice and easy to play.

The characters are created very good.

I will admit, this isn't a bad video game at all. But being such a long-time fan of Bionicle, I noticed it didn't really follow the storyline at all. Its fun and colorful, but some of the graphics are a bit wacky. This game probably could've had some minor improvements in it, but its not too bad in my opinion. I like how it takes away a lot of what kids obsess over nowadays in videogames, such as blood & gore, sexual content, language, and drug references. But overall, if you just want to come home and play a relaxing game that doesn't require an overabundance of effort, I'd recommend Bionicle Heroes. If, however, you want to play the game because of your interest of the Bionicle storyline itself, its probably not your best option. But then again, I'm a huge fan of the Bionicle storyline and I still managed to enjoy it somewhat. That'd be cool if they made a game similar to this with the new 2015 Bionicle sets...but one that would improve slightly on graphics and follow the original plot a bit better. Expand

I bought it because I loved playing Lego Star Wars II, and thought it would be similar. While it is slightly similar, it's lacking in almost every aspect. The cooperative 2-player that was so much fun in LSW2 is totally missing, and the gameplay gets old quickly. While it's not the worst game I've ever played, it's hard to recommend.

It is good for kids and lots of fun especially when time is limited and you just need to blast things.

A great little game for passing an hour or so when you really want a game where you can relax and take your time.

Lego has really surprised everyone with their hit games. Now, their moving out of the cutesy games and into the hard-hitting shooter genre. And they don't do that bad. Firstly, those of you who seem to think gaming was created for adults... No it actually wasn't. This game is a great move by Lego to get slightly older kids into games. And Heroes isn't half bad. The graphics are decent, and the enviroments are beautiful. The characters are varied, with each having their strengths and weaknesses. On the other hand, the story isn't as easy to follow as Lego Star Wars, and the Hero Mode is a little too easy to achieve. But those aren't big downsides. Those of you who thought lego made a mistake with this game, you are very, very wrong indeed. Expand

At first glance this looks like any other LEGO game. You're thrown into a hub world (without any sort of tutorial to help you get your bearings) that branches off into the various levels you need to complete and from there you immediately begin destroying everything in sight for LEGO pieces. It doesn't take long to realize just how lacking in content this is however. Each zone is comprised of the same four level loop and there's no platforming or puzzle solving in any of the stages. Literally all Bionicle Heroes has going for it in the gameplay department is the third-person shooting, and that proves to not be much fun due to the awkward controls, extremely limited enemy variety, and dull boss battles.

Even the collect-a-thon element Traveller's Tales games are known for comes up short. Usually tracking down everything in a LEGO game requires you to replay levels with new character types in order to open up new paths with their own amusing secrets and mini-games. Here you just upgrade the already existing characters at the store and open a door you previously couldn't. What's behind the door? Just the collectible itself and nothing else new or exciting.

There is also no real story to speak of. So those hoping for some kind of narrative that makes use of the series' complex lore are sure to be disappointed outside of the brief bits of fanservice. There are cutscenes, but all they do is show off Traveller's Tales' kid-friendly sense of slapstick humor which proves to be a poor fit for the Bionicle brand.

While the developer might have just had a misguided vision for the game from the start, it's the rushed and incomplete feeling you get that makes Heroes not worth playing. There's simply not enough variety or content to keep the mindless action from becoming a repetitive slog and the potential for this to have been so much more can be clearly seen. It's a lot like opening up a new LEGO set only to find out that most of the essential pieces are missing. You're frustrated, letdown, and ultimately left with something you can't have that much fun with.

    Game and Idea are fun

Game and LEVEL 1 are both difficult as f*ck

SERIOUSLY LEVEL **** 1 is harder than hell.

How is a force field on the boss fair in any way?

A jogabilidade é simplória e algumas mecânicas chegam a "quebrar" o jogo, como é o caso do Hero Mode. Embora as ideias sejam minimamente interessantes, a prática é totalmente diferente.

It is a shame because the potential was there for something to be good, but Bionicle Heroes falls flat in delivering an enjoyable gaming experience. Every single level in this game is pretty much copied and pasted with just a few changes of the level environment. To all the die-hard Bionicle fans out there, you might want to think about maybe skipping this snooze-fest, this is not your average LEGO game. Expand

There's a cavern in here reserved for viewing your stockpile, along with enough mini-games to keep you busy until the 720 comes out. [Dec. 2006, p.76]

Besides the poor camera angle, it's easy to play and is challenging enough to hold your attention for an enjoyable and borderline addictive experience. [Issue 18, p.87]
