    الأرتداد عالي، والمهمة ما أعرف شلون اكملها لازم أدور حتى اعرف، والرصاص بسرعة يخلص اعتمدت على المسدس، والأعداد كثيرين بشكل يقهر، بعض المهام او المطاليب غبية مثل أفتح الباب، أعدادات التحكم ما فيها حرية مجرد خيارات وضعتها الشركة وعليك تلتزم بيها، تكو تنوع بالأسلحة بس لازم تجمع الأسلحة حتى تستخدمهن، المركبات حيل تغث واكره جزئيتها، الحساسية مزعجبة لذا انصح بين 10 الى 20، الخريطة فائدتها جدًا قليلة الأعداء المكتشفين بالخريطة قليلة وحتى إن طلعوا انتغالبًا شايفهم قبل ان تطلع بالخريطة لذا فائدتها تقتصر الأكثر على المهام وانا أقصد أتجاه المهمة وليس المهمة بالخريطة.

    MP is almost as great as in BF3, but with a LOT more issues. Balancing took a different route with letting each class run DMRs and Carbines, which does make it a little easier for some classes to deal with different situations. They nerfed the stealth jet to where it was pretty much useless, and being a big bf3 pilot, it was pretty lame that Dice decided to do that. The bugs, whileMP is almost as great as in BF3, but with a LOT more issues.     You cannot play this game, unless you have an official Xbox 360 hard disk drive. Doesn't matter if you have storage on a flash drive or internally on your console. WTF kind of nonsense is this? I wish I hadn't bought this game. Well, once again, EA drops a load of crap onto gamers.

    It is a great game that has great graphics, great intensity, and gives you a fun gaming experience. The campaign mode is very intense and fun as well. The game had several annoying glitches, though.

    It was a good game, but not great. I seriously don't get how people could ever choose Battlefield over CoD. This was definitely better than Hardline, but not that great.

    srsly its a good game awesome blowing buildings and flanking people out BUT srsly FIX THE BUGS AND STOP MAKING DLCS!!!!the camping is extremely low and they suck missing textures but yet best multiplayer game

    I've always been a fan of the Battlefield franchise, I've played every game since 1942.

    Battlefield 4 on the other hand, is simply a showcase of what a developer can do wrong. Yes, everybody has already explained how awfully glitchy it is, and how matchmaking is complete **** I however was more perturbed about the release day DLC, and the shameless Micro Transactions, which are    I've always been a fan of the Battlefield franchise, I've played every game since 1942.

    Battlefield 4 on the other hand, is simply a showcase of what a developer can do wrong. Yes, everybody has already explained how awfully glitchy it is, and how matchmaking is complete **** I however was more perturbed about the release day DLC, and the shameless Micro Transactions, which are frequently advertised in menus in the game.

    You can however with one low payment of 50 freaking bucks, get all of the DLC for free, giving you access to a large part of the game you have already payed hard earned cash for. All of the new game-types that I've seen require DLC, and on top of that, many vehicles are badly under-powered until you level them up, which on things like helicopters, is very difficult. The only work around for this is to either, murder your stats by rushing the Heli and attempting to get a kill with the chain-gun, or you can buy the Vehicle pack and unlock everything.

    I understand that the Jets and Helicopters, were quite OP in BF3, but in this game they feel like they were just thrown in there because it's Battlefield. I have about 70 hours recorded online in this game, and I have never once been killed by a Jet. Even when I'm in a Jet myself! On the Bomber Jets, switching to your secondary weapon, which is your primary source of damage, puts you into this unhinged under the plane view, that completely fu*** up your perspective, and makes it near impossible to do anything. I understand that they did this to provide a sense of realism, but it feels incredibly broken.

    The helicopters are quite a bit more difficult to fly as well. It's nearly impossible to level your reticle on something and shoot it, as you are always trying to overcompensate your direction. So you just end up doing fly-by carpet bombings, and hoping to kill something. I was quite good with the Helis in BF3, and have a pretty good kill count with them. In this game, while they control very similarly, they are constantly in a state of horizontal movement.

    Something else that was a pain, but somewhat forgivable, was the explosion hitboxes. While Grenades, and their launchers are in good working order. Any sort of rocket propelled, or shelled rounds, are almost guaranteed to require a second hit on enemy players. I have been hit nearly directly with 120mm tank rounds and survived, countless times. The same applies to rocket launchers, and Heli rockets. It might seem like a bit of a nitpick, but it would really lend to the games immersion, if a gigantic explosion actually killed you.    … Expand

The campaign isn't very memorable, but it's a fun experience nonetheless, with good A.I. and great voice acting. Now, Frostbite shows off just how beautiful a game can be, with extremely realistic graphics. As I said, the multiplayer is brilliant, with big maps, aBattlefield 4 offers a new and immense look on warfare, with maps for the fantastic Multiplayer mode stretching miles across. The campaign isn't very memorable, but it's a fun experience nonetheless, with good A.I. and great voice acting.     Too many bugs and glitches in both sp and mp... the worst bf game I ever played. I only spent 150+ hours in the first three months after releasing, so i pretty much intensively played the worst version/period of bf4 before the third big patches(I think). the hit detection was bad!!!! the game lacked stability, constantly crushed ! the battlepacks was a joke as well as boosting xp!!! iToo many bugs and glitches in both sp and mp... the worst bf game I ever played.     Battlefield 4 was a great game. There was a good story, as well as a great multiplayer. Yet, the game releases too many updates; each one worth 500+ GB's. I have a 60 GB hard-drive, and a quarter of it are these updates! Also my game is constantly freezing and bugging out. The creators rushed it. The should've debugged the game before it came out to the market. Also i had bought the ChinaBattlefield 4 was a great game. There was a good story, as well as a great multiplayer.     Having clocked up many hours on BF3 I was looking forward to this game and was very disappointed with it. DiCe seem to have 'Cod-ified' it in some ways, which I don't want, I want Battlefield. The multiplayer was just 'unplayable'; now whether that was bad net code/lag compensation or whatever you want to call it, the mp gameplay was dire.     I just bought a PS4 and was eagerly awaiting BF4 after the awesomeness of BF3 but I'm very disappointed with this game. It's *VERY* glitchy and the gameplay is intensely unrealistic in ways that BF3 was not. Enemies appear and disappear, I can be face to face with an enemy unloading into me and I don't die even though he surprised me in the middle of reloading...and I kill him after II just bought a PS4 and was eagerly awaiting BF4 after the awesomeness of BF3 but I'm very disappointed with this game.     I know im in the heavy minority but i mainly do the campaigns on fps. Its a shame that there is so much fanboy trolling of both battlefield and cod, why the east coast/west coast crap when they are both military fps?     But I literally had to force myself to finish this campaign, it was dreadful. No heart, no storyline of any compelling narrative and way too much filler between missions.
    Finally finished it on the second pass and it's unfortunately good to be done with it. Last word for true campaigners: how can a game, where the mp is the star i'll give you that, get such a high rating when these said high ratings are allowing for the fact the campaign is dreadful?    … Expand

    If you're looking for a game to crash your console look no further than Battlefield 4. Every negative thing you've heard or read about this game is true, bugs/crashes, lag, etc. I would trade in this steaming pile to Gamestop but the fact that someone else might pick this up is just wrong.     Overall, the game is great. It is large, beautiful, unique. The campaign is thrilling. It's graphics are detailed. Battlelog and it's data system for Battlefield 4 has so much depth to the statistical data the user produces. It's ranking system is unique for any multiplayer title I've seen, but this is not a review for Battlelog. It's release put so much hurt on the title. It's highOverall, the game is great. It's high severity bugs destroyed the user experience. Crashing every game, or every other game in online multiplayer. Campaign data being wiped after multiplayer games. It was a hindrance indeed.     I was a bigtime fan of BFBC1 & 2 and 1949. Never played bf3... but Battlefield 4 is horrible I just spent 50$ on it to realise it's no longer a battlefield game as much as it is a call of duty type shooter.

    7. THe maps are a AWFUL. Remember Oasis? Forget it, now it's all about walking hallways and buildings, etc

    bf4 looks terrible on current gen, and there is way too much screen tearing and the campaign disappoints but multiplayer is fine, but GET IT NEXT GEN!!!!

    Very fun game it can get really hard on some parts in the campaign, but if you really think about the situation you can get past it. Multiplayer is really fun and with all kinds of cool game modes you can find what you really like.

And before you guys say, "You can play with your friends, just join them" here is my knock on that. The rooms get full quickly, you are not guaranteed to be on the same team, AND one of us always lags out because the game crashes. SO after spending 20 minutes trying to get into the same room, one of our games crash and then we can't play together. Rinse and repeat till you log off.

    Now onto the gameplay. People do not play the objective, they just sit on roofs hiding with sniper rifles. Maybe it's just me but bullet registration in this game is terrible. I feel like I shot someone 10 times and only 2 of those bullets register. Game is frustrating, avoid it like plague until they fix all of their issues. You can clearly tell this game was rushed to compete with CoD on the market.

    I've been playing BF4 since and am glad that I've made the switch to a game which has a lot more 'mature' players. Don't get me wrong there are some sweaty kids about who are clearly only interested in their K/D ratio but overall as the teams are 30 each you are    I dabbled a littel with BF3 but I was always a CoD player until this years abonination with CoD:Ghosts (see my review).

    I've been playing BF4 since and am glad that I've made the switch to a game which has a lot more 'mature' players. Don't get me wrong there are some sweaty kids about who are clearly only interested in their K/D ratio but overall as the teams are 30 each you are usually only lumbered with a few of these morons at best so they don't have an impact on the result and usually end up near the bottom of the leaderboard when playing 'conquest'.

    The gameplay is excellent, the vehicles are very good and you have to learn them all as they are not (apart from most land vehicles) that easy to use straight away and the choice of guns is more than adequate. Graphics wise I prefer it to CoD as it seems a little more realistic (CoD now seems a tad 'cartoon' like in comparison when I occaisonally watch my friends clips on XBOX ONE taht appear in my stream.

    The only thing I would change if given the choice would be to limit the amount of times people can use some of the more unique vehicles on certain maps as some people will crash an attack chopper (like the 'Little Bird') and then just hang around not respawning until the helicopter itself respawn's at base and then they deploy straight away and end up spending the whole game 'hogging' certain vehicles.

    That is just a minor gripe, at the end of the day there are lot of selfish idiots out there, this game is VERY GOOD. If you like FPS's and aren't 12 years old and obsessed with having a gun with diamonds on it then I'd advise you to buy this as you'll love it....I look forward to meeting you on the Battlefield folks!!!    … Expand

    Everything is delayed, nothing works, and gameplay laggy. Most recent "expansion" was just BF3 maps. Why would I buy a NEW game to play the previous one. I want my money back.

    This game is really cool. I like the maps design and how big they are ( that's what she said) and the fact that now you can play 32 vs 32 makes you feel like you are in a real war. The graphics has been upgrade a little bit also and the levolution effects are amazing. There were some bugs but they fixed almost all of them.

    Overall pretty great game, a bug or two, but it isn't enough to ruin the whole game. Every map has it's own unique feel and atmosphere.

    Cool game bro, needs more dinosaurs.

    This game was playable at launch, but even then, very similar to battlefield 3, with the addition of game breaking bugs. Now, after 8 patches, it is less stable than ever. EA don't care however, and choose to release more map packs instead of fixing the game. Don't buy.

    This the game is not considered Battlefield 4.at this point in time it is Brokenfield 4. I can not get through the campaign, mutiplayer crashes all the time and there are bugs absolutely everywhere. However they will hopefully get all that fixed in good time and I am the type to look forward at a game. So if you look past all of the broken features Battlefield 4 is a great game.     Nothing new or innovative. The graphics boost is hardly noticeable (same going for Xbox One and PS4). You can only spot it on the PC version, which is still only a slight change. The game is practically the same as its predecessor, and for some reason released with tons of bugs and glitches. Get your **** together, EA. You've been screwin' us over a while now. Please, do something good.

    GOOD THINGS:
    A better BF3 multi-player experience, Levolution, Commander mode returns, pistols are better now.
    BAD THINGS:

    The worst story and voice acting I have ever seen.
    I played the game in Portuguese, the voice isn't even synched to the characters or even less to their faces.
    The gameplay is horrible, Overall inconsistent fame rate and the game engine is notoriously ultra heavy for the hardware specs. The light is great but the textures and objects are very poor and with lack of detail.

    Crashes, crashes, crashes, battlepacks, battlepacks.. Another rushed EA game on the market. I really do try to like it, but dammit! Dawnbreaker or ''gamebreaker'' still crashes everytime, gun sounds dissapear and the list goes on.
    BUT when the game works, it's a solid FPS and BF sequel.

    If you have an Xbox 360 ARCADE/4 GB you CANNOT, CANNOT play this game. It requires an Xbox hard drive. Which the 4 GB is a flash drive AND it does not allow you to install the game on a thumb stick and/or external hard drive. There is no way around this. Huge disappointment. Other than that, great game but BUGGY as heck.

Also in conquest this leads to situations where you spend a large amount of time capturing undefended points, then once you leave that point the other team just recaptures it.

    The biggest issue though for the Xbox 360 is the constant crashes and loss of connections. Sometimes you can play for a few hours without any problems. However, other days every 5-15 min your Xbox will either freeze or you will lose connection to EA. Either way you won't get any XP from the game you were playing and you will have to restart your Xbox. In my experience nearly 50% of my gaming sessions end in frustration because of all the crashes. Dice has acknowledged the crashes are a problem, but they have been looking into it since October and it still broken in January.

    This is my first time playing a battlefield game after playing COD in the past. There's no comparison, this game is COD on steroids. Playing COD is underwhelming and boring now compared to BF4. The amount of detail put into this game is amazing and it really pays off in multiplayer.

    4. The total under-powered-ness of attack helicopters(scout are not as underpowered as long as you have more than two people repairing you constantly.) As, attack helicopters have a 2 minute spawn time, a 25 second flare recharge time, and are incredibly unstable when hit, forcing you to have gyro stabilizers on. When flying you have to deal with every engineer with a stinger(which is most), every other helicopter, AND the jets. You have to have some serious skill when flying, a good gunner, and be very lucky to get a 1.0+ kd.
    5. The DMRs are worthless. Quite literally, as you will be r**** if you try using them. I've unlocked most of them, and I get beat every time by ARs and SMGs.
    6. The graphics are seriously downgraded from BF3.
    7. Destructibility applies to a very limited amount of buildings.
    8. There's a map which will butt f*** you called Dawn Breaker unless you have your brightness all the way up and a flashlight on your gun.
    9. You can't change your contrast settings, so your colors will be f***** up if you want to actually see something.    … Expand

First off, and mostly, there is a HUGE bug that should be immediately looked into for fixing, which is now and then your game can freeze DURING THE SAVING PROCESS. This results in corrupt memory and loss of any saved games, however your online stats won't be effected. Another thing I'd like to add is the VERY few amount of maps. Thought they are quite big, there aren't many of them. Another is the complete lack of variation of game modes. There should be more things like a convoy capture, dogfights, something that strays away from the usual game modes (which from reading others reviews tells me there isn't any more additions from the previous battlefield)

    With that, I'd like to state I want to see a major improvement in the next update. Or I will surely trade this in for Call of Duty: Ghost, which on the back of the BF$ case it states that IGN said "FROSTBITE 3 Engine and BATTLEFIELD 4 put Call of Duty: Ghosts to shame." I haven't played CoD: Ghost and I can confidently say this is a false statement.    … Expand

    It seems as if they had fixed nothing from the beta release. Although they did fix a few problems from the predecessors, from my perspective, they contrived more mistakes than corrections. I'm sure DICE will balance these problems later, but for now, I'm pretty disappointed. Lets just hope they slow down with the next title.

    Very disappointed, I've been playing battlefield since Battlefield 2 modern combat when it was made for the original xbox, battlefield 3 sucks and they followed up with another bad version of battlefield, they made it too complicated.. freezing issues, vehicles are a nightmare to operate, the list goes on so i guess i will go get my money back and find a different game.......

From knocking down buildings to calling in air strikes in commander mode makes this multiplayer the best. Hug maps and endless supplies of vehicles definitely surpasses that f BF3 or Call of Duty: Ghosts. If you can't pilot a helicopter quite well try the "test range" where you can try all the vehicles. Battlefield 4 has an amazing multiplayer and stunning opening campaign level, yet the rest of the campaign is severely drab. If you are looking for the complete package BF4 is not quite it, but worth it if you want a great FPS. See you on the Battlefield!… Expand

    Not the greatest launch with this one. At the moment there's some bugs to be fixed; crashing, net-code problems etc. Anyways Dice are working on the patches and the game is definitely getting better and more stable after them. I also expect more from them, cause this game deserves more than 8. Just because of bf3.

    Hopefully they will patch these problems away, soon! Then it's 9 or 10.

    i like the game, but i bought premium and i still don't have my DLC. complete the game has to much glitches, dying randomly, map not loading immediately, those are some of the glitches. i rather recommend you buy battlefield 3 premium edition

    I love this game it is very fun and I personally haven't found many stability issues. Would definitely recommend and I have been spending hours playing this game.

    This game is honestly the biggest disappointment you will buy this year. Sound does not work, graphics do not load, and glitches are constant. I actually played for 50 seconds today before my gun spawned in. This game is WORSE than a beta. Do no buy, a complete waste of money.

Honestly don't know how you even release a game this broken. Was it because COD Ghosts was coming out? Anyway on release this game scores low. I will start off saying I rather enjoyed Battlefield 3's campaign, it had a decent story packed with action and vehicles, whereas Battlefield 4's campaign is the complete opposite. The campaign is packed full of texture popping and lousy enemy AI, bundled with the worst storyline I have experienced in a AAA game and pretty much only sea vehicles ever being used, with one poorly structured tank sequence.

    The campaign never really fills you in on why you are doing what you are doing and as a result, I felt like I was drifting from one dark environment to another and just being told what to do, like a mindless puppet. I also found my mute character to be frustrating, I was playing the role of squad leader Recker who is the most passive leader I have ever come across. Pac, Irish and Hannah all basically tell you what to do and take charge by themselves or just simply look at you and have a epiphany on how to go about the next section of the mission, Irish even decides to take hundreds of refugees on board the military cruiser and all you can do is stand by and watch while wanting to grab him and tell him to get a grip.

    This brings me onto my most disliked thing about the campaign, Irish himself. Irish is the symbol of decency while everyone around him makes the easier or harsher choices, naturally adding drama and clearly intended to make the player think twice about what they are doing, which is fine by me. However, he is the most whiney and negative character I have had to listen to in a long time. For some reason, he hates Hannah and they bicker throughout most missions and then suddenly love each other on the second to last mission... After she has betrayed you and allowed you and Irish to get severely beaten, which once again, is never really clear on the reasons how and why.

    Gameplay wise, the campaign is hilariously easy, even on the hardest difficulty due to binoculars which can spot enemies and the squad targeting system that allows your squad to gun down enemies while you sit there or shoot others. There are thousands of gun crates to refill or switch your weapons dotted around the levels and, as I mentioned previously, the enemy AI can be very stupid and inaccurate. There are a fair few weapons to collect which I enjoyed from the Bad Company games and some decent action scenes but ultimately it felt very washed out and immensely basic.

    The multiplayer is the game's strongest point by far which is what matters for most first person shooters, it is very much like its predecessor in terms of sound, guns and vehicles, with some extra destruction to keep it a little fresh. The maps are decent, too big for the striped down server capacity on the 360 but still provide those jaw dropping moments you can only get in the Battlefield games. The variety of game modes is also something that is welcome and definitely keeps me switching due to the gameplay varying so much.

    However, there is far too much grinding required for weapon unlocks, which does provide a very chore-like feel and I feel this will cause problems for new players down the line, as they will be at a more disadvantage than those who have played since launch.

    Overall, I feel the game was rushed and that Dice should have simply left out the campaign section as they quietly clearly have had no interest on making it a memorable experience. The multiplayer is great but nothing much more than what we have previously experienced and does require a lot of patching to make it something I really want to go back to, time and time again.

In the Bad Company series, EVERYTHING was destructible. It was just as much fun to take out your RPG and just shoot walls, as it was to play the objective. I should not that I will be taking about the Single-player a lot in this review, but this I will also be referring to the terrible Multi-player of this game.

    When I was informed that the Russians will not be the primary enemy of this campaign, I though "Well at least I will not have to shoot the Russians for once, because why should I? I like Russians and Battlefield gives me poor reasons for fighting them!" But then I was informed that the primary enemy of this game will be the Chinese, that have allied with the Russians to bring down the US and dominate the globe, then I thought "...EA. DICE. You are both taking the piss..."

    The campaign involved me following linear based shooting with a poorly written story. The characters of this game were quite unlikable, especially that female character Hannah, who at one point of the game double crossed me, and when me and my squad met her again, she gave the poorest excuse that she did it for saving someone who was important for stopping the war (Which she didn't explain how handing me to the enemy was suppose to help), and everyone forgave her afterwards. I was thinking "HOW DID THAT EXCUSE BUY YOU IDIOTS!?!?!"

    As for the Multi-player, it was poorly (Yes, that will be the key word for this entire game, Thank you very much!) developed and managed, because not only did I suffer from the usual verbal abuse from the idiots on microphones, not understand that the concept was that shouting at other players is not going to fix the game and their social skills, but I also faced technical issues.
    I attempted to capture a point but it instantly reverted back to enemy control as it fully charged, it would not allow me to fire particular weapons, and enemies could shoot me after I re-spawned in front of them (By the way, I chose my base and I spawned in a enemy squad, so don't think I simply spawned at a point when the enemy was capturing it).

    In the end, it was no different from Call of Duty. I know I don't like using Call of Duty in reviews, but I find it hypocritical of people who continuously blurt out that Call of Duty and Battlefield are nothing alike, when it they are exactly alike. Like Call of Duty: Ghost, this game is a complete miss and doesn't even deserve my spit.    … Expand

    The game does not work properly, needs to have updates continually done to it, keeps freezing the console up, forcing you to restart continually. The game play is also broken, it's not balanced at all. If you want actually reality game try ARMA instead.
    I'm taking my copy back today and never play another game from EA.

Sadly it is very buggy and you will commonly get stuck under objects when you swim. I now treat water like I'm playing GTA 3.

    3: Graphics: This one is more down to taste. It just happens I don't enjoy this style. The game is grayer and rougher. Its probably more realistic, but its difficult to see. A sniper/camper's paradise.

    4: Game Modes: The addition of new game types is nice, but the rules need polishing on things like Obliteration. Letting the bomb get into a helicopter kinda ruins the point. Rush has been whittled down to small scale warfare. I always enjoyed Rush, but when every game is the same type of map (mainly infantry with one or two vehicles), it quickly loses its charm. Don't expect the variety of BF3 of following a Caspian Border up with a Grand Bazaar.

    5: Stability: Prepare to restart your Xbox often. Crashes on nearly half the maps make this game an unpleasant experience.    … Expand

The Test Range allows you to test all the vehicles (helicopters, jets, tanks, boats, etc.) in a private environment so that you can become proficient with the drive controls and weaponry. There is also a shooting range so that you can test out weapons with various setups. This feature should have been added many years ago.

    - Destruction Think of the destruction in BF4 as a combination of the destruction available in Bad Company 2 destruction in BF3 some new “Levolution” destruction. The point is you can fully take down and collapse most of the smaller buildings (BC2), you can chip away at (and often fully destroy) walls and other various structures on the map (BF3), and you can bring down some really big stuff via Levolution features that are specific to a given map (BF4).

    - Graphics BF4 graphics are actually very good on the 360; however, many people mention the graphics negatively, saying they don't looks as good as BF3. There is a quick fix for this, go to "OPTIONS GAMEPLAY NETWORK SMOOTHING FACTOR" and adjust the network smoothing up to 100%...bingo there are your stellar graphics.

    - Spawning How you spawn into a game has been greatly improved/simplified in BF4. It is now very easy to spawn on a squadmate or into any vehicle directly.

    - Vehicles All the traditional vehicles (tanks, choppers, jets, land vehicles, etc.) are here and boats are back in a big way...the "attack boats" are especially fun and allow you to have a crew of up to 4 players in a boat while accessing a variety of weapons for anti-aircraft, anti-vehicle, anti-infantry, etc. There are some new controller layouts for the vehicles and these are designed to make piloting the vehicles a bit easier and more intuitive. I have found that the new control layouts are pretty good and often more intuitive (esp for choppers)...and if you don't like them you can switch to "veteran/legacy" layouts. The Test Range is the perfect place to tryout which controller layouts will work best.

    - Maps The maps are well designed and balanced and have a great variety of landscapes and features. Without going into a great amount of detail on the maps it is safe to assume that they are very good in general...my personal favorites are Paracel Storm (islands) and Operation Locker (prison).

    - Weapons The weapons are great and there are too many features/attachments to list out here. One of the better updates is the ability to quickly range/zero sniper rifles (although snipers seem a bit overpowered). There are also a variety of new rocket launchers that are helpful in taking out all of the various land and air based vehicles.

    - Obliteration Game Variant This is a new game variant that involves a single bomb that each team fights to maintain control of and eventually plant in enemy territory. Without going into too much explanation this game mode is very, very fun and filled with lots and lots of action. The traditional game modes (conquest, rush, domination, etc.) are also there, but from my experience so far Obliteration is by far the best new game variant.

    - Commander Mode Reintroduced in BF4 the Commander game play option can be a fun way to play (higher level, somewhat slower pace). Players need to become educated on how to interpret the Commander orders and it is probably best to play as Commander with a live mic on so that you can actually talk to the squads when issuing orders. A well versed Commander can really help to drive a team to victory as they have the ability to see a global view of the action and to deliver resources and orders accordingly. There is a new app coming out supposedly in Nov that will allow you to play as Commander on a tablet (Apple or Android).

    Cons:

    - Game Lockups As of the date of this review you do in fact still experience an occasional lockup while playing, and this is very irritating as it causes you to have to reboot and can sometimes result in losing some of your settings. Apparently clearing your cache can help with this. EA needs to fix this issue ASAP!

    - Joining Multiplayer Servers You currently can’t join a multiplayer game with a pre-assembled squad of players (each player has to join on their own). This is irritating at best and hopefully EA will fix this. Additionally, while the server browser works, it needs some updates in order to make it more useful (e.g. ability to scroll servers from bottom up). Despite these issues joining servers is very fast and once you are on a server it is fairly easy and fast for your friends to join you (provided there are available player slots).

    - Configuring Loadouts When you first try to configure your weapon/vehicle loadouts you will most naturally go the “MY SOLDIER” menu option only to find that you can’t configure your loadouts there…very irritating. The only way you can configure loadouts on the console is a) within an actual multiplayer game or b) on the Test Range. The other way to configure your loadouts is on the Web via Battlelog.

    - Campaign The campaign was ok…but just ok. The storyline is a bit hard to follow at times and I was surprised at the very sparse use of vehicles during the campaign. These things aside you will want to plod through the campaign as there are several weapons that are unlocked via the campaign that you can use in multiplayer.

    - Newb Factor BF4 like the other BF games can be somewhat intimidating to jump into for inexperienced (and even experienced) players. The Test Range is a step in the right direction and will help some with this…but it would also be helpful if there were some simulation game variants so that players could fight against a variety of bots in order to develop their skills (on the Test Range nothing fights back).    … Expand

Is it fun? Yes. Will it last you more than a year till the next installment? Maybe. But why play this when you can just go back and do slightly less in the last game and not have to pay anything?

    Honestly, COD and BF both suffer from the "give it a new paint job, add a couple cool gimmicks, and say its innovative and new" business model, except Battlefield has only just started to get into the habit of it. This is still the BF3 engine (figuratively speaking, I know the game runs on a newer version of Frostbite) and frame, with some new paint and a few aesthetic designs that are neat... and that to me is not worth $60 of my money.

    I hope and pray EA and DICE don't screw themselves over doing the same thing Infinity Ward and Treyarch have become infamous for.    … Expand

    This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. Electronic Arts, they are one of my favorite game developers. Once again, they have blown it out of the water. Battlefield 4 is an immensely powerful game both in gameplay and software requirements. I had to buy an Xbox 360 Hard Drive for my Xbox 360 Slim Edition. It requires a lot of storage, about 10 GB.

    The graphics in Battlefield 4 are exquisite, the textures may be slightly bland, but the game was optimized for the Xbox One. The sound quality was also very well done, the destructive properties are unique, and unlike any game, I have ever played. I have shot down skyscrapers with a tank and watched them fall just for fun.

    The campaign is a little difficult for someone who is new at Battlefield 4, (such as myself), but you get used to how the gameplay mechanics work.
    The multiplayer was amazing and very well, done, there may not be as many game modes as Call of Duty, but in Battlefield 4, you actually have to shoot people and take cover, you need to use strategy in multiplayer mode. Electronic Arts did a fabulous job at developing Battlefield 4 and I will always remember this as my first ever Battlefield gaming experience.    … Expand

    I've never been a big fan of campaign modes when it comes to shooters, I only play it if there are important perks/upgrades that can be gained in them for online multiplayer. From playing and watching campaign modes through the years, I have to say that I'm a underwhelmed by the campaign mode in this game, which inspired me to push through it as fast as I could.

    As far as online multiplayer goes, I like Conquest mode the best. I feel like it's the best all-around mode which showcases what this game is capable of/all about. Even after dying/waiting for respawn; spectating the action across the maps is a great experience. The Levolution feature definitely adds a new dimension to battles; the mayhem is a sight to behold. The sea/water maps are very realistic; especially with the bouncing you experience while riding in a watercraft and trying to aim your weapon at the same time. One of the only gripes I have are the stability issues of the servers, but I'm sure that will be ironed out as time goes on.

    One of the best features in this game, which I think other similar games should have is the test range where you can get familiar with the myriad of weapons, vehicles, and their associated loadouts/upgrades.

    I noticed that the shooting/gunplay was much tighter and that the weapons upgrades showed a much more noticable difference than before, which is great on top of the fact that suppressive fire is that much more lethal now.

    I will definitely buy this for Xbox One once I get my hands on it.

There's enough menus to make you go insane, dang near impossible for a big group of friends to play together( there are a few glitches that don't help with it either) filters are pretty much worthless too. What is most annoying to me is that I can no longer customize my loadouts in my soldier. What the hell?! I have to use battlelog which is slower than cold molasses and oh so inconvenient. You have no idea how aggravated I get with this! I hope they don't dis these new games because of the next gen consoles because they charged full price so I want full price quality.
    On another note you die a lot faster than BF3 personally I don't like that all that much. Aside from the bulk of what I said this game is fun, not as fun as I could be, but that's fixable (as I hope happens) because I don't plan on rushing out and blowing $700 on an xbox 1 and all the new games for it.
    All in all it's a good game that if fixed would be a great game. If I hadn't pre ordered it I would have waited until the ratings improved.    … Expand

    (Singleplayer) Great graphic, some glitches, forgettable story and characters pretty much what the industry established as a standard the last years (Multiplayer) I can only speak for the XBox360 experience and about 15h of playtime. I'm a huge fan of this series but I'm also sad to say that this is the one that has to be buried.    Do not spend your hard earned money on this one!

    I can only speak for the XBox360 experience and about 15h of playtime. I'm a huge fan of this series but I'm also sad to say that this is the one that has to be buried. The list of flaws and bugs is endless:

    - XBox freezes every two games
    - two maps in some game modes not playable at all due to freezes
    - Hit detection failures to the point where you can empty a magazine on an enemy 10m away without hits
    - Dumbed down gameplay compared to BF3
    - Weapons are pretty much all the same
    - Visibility of enemies is questionable (to the point where a smart position makes you nearly invisible)

    Thats only the tip of the iceberg. EA with great help of the DICE is trying to make the Battlefield experience more comparable to the Call of Duty franchise. Which is exactly why veterans of the series will hate BF4. Great job and tip to the hat to EA and DICE.

It takes forever to reload your piece of gun. It takes forever to respawn. It's BF3 rehashed just worse this time around. Usually more is better and in this case it would have been, but instead of just adding features like the battle packs, EA decided to remove features like editing load outs pre-battle so that you now have to waste gameplay time adjusting gun or vehicle upgrades.     The tuned graphics are great, but many areas have not been fully refined leaving the game with an unfinished look. In game sounds aren't any more realistic and whatever enjoyment could still be had in the game is ruined by constant crashing and the difficulty one experiences trying to join a game with friends.

    The OEM button mapping is ridiculous and the only other option, "veteran" which is intended to mirror BF3 mapping, is just dissimilar enough to confuse BF3 players in those life threatening in game moments. Again this kills any gameplay enjoyment and no other option for button mapping is available.

    The single player game play is dreadfully slow and boring. Parts of the single player game seem like a mixing of a FPS and an RPG and definitely not in a good way. For example, after a large action fight, your character then has to walk forever around an aircraft carrier looking for someone. When you find that person, you then need to listen to them babble on without any skip option. Not many play BF for the single player and I can't imagine anyone enjoying this. It feels more like a chore to endure in order to unlock multiplayer weapons.

    I would have purchased an xbox1 if BF4 was decent on 360. I'm not going to risk all that money for a game and console that might play the way it does on the 360. Very disappointed. Do not buy for 360 if you haven't already.    … Expand

    Graphics: Beauty unparalleled as of yet in a shooter, only occasionally marred by muddied textures here and there.

    Sound: Only in Battlefield.

    Playability: Some controls have been simplified a little bit, but it remains largely similar to those of Battlefield 3 and classic Battlefield games, with a few new additions to the mix. It might be hard to pilot some vehicles at first, but you'll get the hang of it.

    Entertainment: You'll certainly be spending your hours playing the addictive and impressive multiplayer component, and not the standalone single player one.

    Replay Value: Moderately High.

    The game is unfinished and full of bugs. A.I. problems, problems with the new "levolution" system which isn't present all that much on single player except from one or two levels. Nowhere near as destructible environments as Red Faction games or even the two Bad Company games.     The story is standard forgetable, but what makes it unbearable is the writing. The mute character is a technique that is obliterated and causes many troubles... for example..
    When Recker (btw how many times is this name heard in the game...????)
    escapes from prison with Dima and meets Irish, the latter says this line:
    "I'm Irish, you're Recker..." WHAT THE FUDGE???
    I was trying to explain this, but finally after 3 playthroughs it hit me that the only expainable situation is that Irish is a bit on the slow side... The also irrational thing he has with Hannah is only measured by the sudden turnaround before the final level.

    Irish: Oh, that's ok. Now I like you, even if I hated you irrationally for the most part of the game...

    Only a 5 year old could write this stuff.

    Beside the weak story and the glitchy gameplay, there is some fun to be had. The gunplay is good, the weapon variety is nice and the gameplay is quite different to the other shooters and went kinda to Crysis style. More open. If it worked it could have been something, but now, if you take a path you are not supposed to, you die in a matter of seconds and I don't care what the reviewers have seen. I played through the game 3 times and the amount of freedom is only theoretical.

    All in all, I would like to see the game in its next gen form (or on a PC) to appreciate at least the graphx.

As you could imagine I expect the game to be at it's best on the Next Generation consoles. I enjoy the game more than Call of Duty because of the feel and the gameplay style.     Game seems to play much smoother than BF3
    Nice Maps

    More modes, added Domination

    Cons

    Game freezes on Campaign and Multiplayer
    Campaign AI doesn't always seem to be aware of what's going on
    You are the only person that can die in Campaign, squad member can't get show
    Campaign is scripted, I would like to see more dynamic outcomes based on the decisions you make
    Not everything is destructible, would like to be able to destroy any and everything on site.

    Overall I think Battlefield is a great series and BF4 continues with that tradition. I look forward to see the best BF4 has to offer when I get my PS4 version.    … Expand

    Playing single player on Battlefield is what you would expect. It's short and sweet. The campaign takes less than 10 hours to complete if you know what your doing. The story is much like a Hollywood action movie rather than a military simulation. There are big explosions, plot twists, and many moments that leave you saying 'wow, I can't believe that just happened.' There are a few flaws with single player. More than a few times I found myself being pinned down by gunfire only to have enemies spawn right beside me out of thin air and kill me. This happened way more than it should. Also on several occasions the mission progress seemed to get stuck and I could not go any further unless I restarted from a check point. I managed to make it through the campaign without these flaws detracting from my overall experience and knowing Dice/EA they should have this patched in no time.

    Multiplayer;

    Now this is the meat and potatoes of a Battlefield game. The sounds of the game are amazing specially on a nice pair of headphones. The gameplay remains similar to BF3 while also feeling more fluid and natural. The maps are a bit on the smaller side like BF3 but feel much larger and detailed a definite step up from last iteration. The unlocks and leveling move at a nice pace without being too easy and vehicles are just as fun as you might think they would be. The only flaws I found so far with MP is sometimes the textures won't load on my gun right away making it impossible to look down the sights and sometimes the bipod on some guns wont deploy instantly, also a problem in BF3.

    I think a few patches will do this game good but as it stands it is an easy 4/5 for any Battlefield fan or a shooter fan in general. If the games looks and plays this good on current gen I CAN'T WAIT to see it live on next gen.    … Expand

    The game is great, I love the campaign.lm not a big fan of shooter games but I do play them. The game does freeze a lot between load screens. overall I like it I think its better then Call of duty Ghost

    For all of its innovative bonuses however, Battlefield 4 on Xbox 360 is beginning to show signs of age. It can be applauded for great water physics and being able to handle the frame rate of a constantly dynamic environment rather well in both single and multiplayer. However, the character models and maps are definitely looking rather blocky and dated, even at 1080p.

    Battlefiled 4 lacks in the single-player campaign with a dull and forgettable story, while its still remains a very strong experience in its multiplayer side. Unfortunately it gets dragged down by several bugs capable of impacting the entire experience with hangs, savegame corruption and hitbox problems that we hope will be quickly be fixed.
