    Finally some DLC with some value! New maps, vehicles, weapons, and objectives just add to an already amazing online experience. These maps, although having been released before in past games, have been redone with exceptional care and quality. If this is the standard that this franchise is going to have with their DLC, then I am already anticipating the next batch.

    Very good DLC. Everything has worked perfectly for me. No lag issues have appeared at all.
    Pros:
    -Great update to a few old, but very good maps. -Assignments are a welcome addition. Adds more "carrots at the end of a stick" to keep you pushing to unlock more things -Great value for the price (especially if you preordered the game and got the DLC for free) Cons: -Conquest Assault game    Very good DLC. Everything has worked perfectly for me. No lag issues have appeared at all.
    Pros:
    -Great update to a few old, but very good maps.
    -Assignments are a welcome addition. Adds more "carrots at the end of a stick" to keep you pushing to unlock more things
    -Great value for the price (especially if you preordered the game and got the DLC for free)
    Cons: -Conquest Assault game mode seems a little unbalanced/unfair (attacking team begins losing tickets at the beginning of the game while defenders do not)
    - A few "stages" on RUSH are favored heavily toward the defenders    … Expand

    excellent dlc everything works great.only downside is the 2.7 gigabites the whole update takes.the new weapons and vehicles are a good addition to the experience and conquest assault rockss.

    Amazing. EA and DICE has made Battlefield 3 even better than it was, increased destruction, more vehicles, wide open space to take out your enemies in.. The only thing that keeps this from being a 10 is the lag and rubberbanding...

    I've got about 6 1/2 days logged into this game so this is about an as honest Review from a big fan as you can get. 1st thing I noticed is the the servers are right back to square 1/ launch week. Tons of issues. I have a few issues the 1st week but nothing near what Im currently experiencing. I haven't had 1 night (2-4 hours) without losing a connection to EA. Awesome, BUT I cant stand the conquest assault. Its not a normal conquest, you cant avoid it on specific maps. If it was a new game mode like rush that would be awesome but if you want to play all the maps on conquest, then youre going to get stuck with a few conquest assault matches as that is the only was to play 2 of the 4 new maps. In all honesty I have gone to selecting only servers that don't have these maps. I hate to say that because I was awaiting these from launch day . The assignments are a great addition. The new vehicles are great and the maps look outstanding are are fun to play. Hopefully they will adjust the match issues in future DLC. But even with my issues with it I still LOVE BF3… Expand

    Untill you bring us back the previous way to play the game is COMPLETELY useless!!! Guys don't let you be blackmailed by the game dev. Simply because the wake-up one day and thought:"Oh, lets make some more money, from the gamers!!!" Great game, ruined by its creators!!! TRAGIC!!!

    The Karkand map is worth the 1200 MS Points this DLC costs by itself. I do prefer the Battlefield 2 MC version of this simply because of the larger map, but with a 12 v 12 situation this version for the consoles is still great and makes sense since the consoles can't handle the large-scale . The other three maps included are great maps too, but Karkand is timeless. We probably won'tThe Karkand map is worth the 1200 MS Points this DLC costs by itself.     Love the new maps except for wake island. Not a big vehicle player and wake is very heavy on the vehicles. The destruction is awesome and I like that some of the maps have 5 cap points for the console. I get tired of playing the 3 flag maps all the time on conquest. Great addition and well worth 15 bucks if you like the game.

    Classic Maps, Great Vehicles, New Weapons, Basically Free if you bought the game new.
    Everything about this expansion is just great. Although i have to give this a 9 because I'm not too fond of the "Assignments" system you have to use in which to unlock the new weapons, some are easy, others are hard.

    maginifico DLC me encanto la mera verdad eso de meter mapas de los mas favoritos para los jugadores fue genial y adaptarlos al nuevo motor se la rifan mis respetos

    Some hardcore fans out there will be disappointed because the first of FIVE map packs contains only old classics. But if you've never played these maps before, like me, then this map pack is very good. Four great maps with new weapons and vehicles, and there is a new addition, assignments, which are great too.     Sharqi peninsula - A great map for rush and conquest. Is diverse enough for different tactics. 9/10

    Wake island - I find this one pretty boring, mainly owing to its shape. However it works well for rush. (Also it is a real US territory in the pacific!) 7/10

    Strike at Karkand - An epic map for rush conquest and team deathmatch. This one will have you hooked. 10/10

    Gulf of Oman - Saved the best till last - One of the best conquest maps I have ever seen. The big battlefield style with a multitude of vehicles will draw you in to this beauty. 10/10    … Expand

    Great add on to a great game, the classic maps look just fresh, the new vehicles, missions and weapons, grant a fun time in the game. Huge level of detail in each building and working servers.

    The last Playable and decent Battlefield game of the series. Everything afterwards is a dumpster Fire!

    If you are a big Battlefield 3 player it is a no brainer to purchase this DLC, even if it is purely just to have no restrictions when finding a server to play on.

    Four great maps and a bunch of tweaked weapons and vehicles, all for the annoying price of about NZ $30. Casual fans might want to wait until this thing sees a price drop, but if you're heavily invested in your Battlefield 3 multiplayer then you'll get a lot out of these new maps.
