FredP.Apr 23, 2007Best Minigolf ever on XBLA! Fun for the whole family.

AndymanApr 19, 2007Somehow this game failed on both of the key criteria for a fun mini-golf game - control and course design. The former is frustratingly inconsistent and the latter is uninspired to the point of being outdone 20 years ago. Sure, it's only 800 points ($10), but it's not worth $3. Save your money.

Nov 29, 2020One of the best minigolf games ever made. The putting feels tight and controllable and the powerups add some fun chaos to the multiplayer. It's not perfect. The music is a little loud and repetitive and there is an occasional glitch. But, with the right group of friends, this game can be a blast.

Official Xbox MagazineThe absurdly named 3D Ultra Minigolf Adventures takes the "sport" to extremes that should delight the kid in everyone. [Apr 2007, p.87]
-
The course design is the real highlight within 3D Ultra Minigolf Adventures, with gameplay that will frustrate until you figure out every detail of each hole, something that will take longer than most would care to spend with a XBLA game.

While there are no parties, corn dogs and tokens in 3D Ultra Mini Golf Adventures, Sierra's new XBLA title does a nice job of creating wacky holes that are a 10-year-old course designer's dream.
